Rate this book
In the aftermath of her parent’s death, Laura Waverly gave up all her dreams to come home and take care of her twin sisters and brother and run their family business. Although she knew it would be difficult, she never imagined how bad things could get – or the danger they would find themselves in.

Suddenly, the small town of Cottonwood, Minnesota, is thrown into disarray when Piper Waverly’s boyfriend goes missing. Soon, everyone is pointing fingers at everyone else – including each other.

The Waverly’s made a pact that they would always be there for each other, no matter what. As their secrets unfold, mistakes are made that have devastating consequences. Betrayed not only tests the limits of boundaries, but also, how far someone will go to protect those they love.

WOW! What a mystery. The characters were well fleshed out and tugged at every emotion you had. I figured out both of the mysteries early on but the different hints made me think I was wrong. It kept me interested all the way to the end. If you like mystery, murder, kidnapping and lots of drama, this is the book for you. Highly recommended!

Good book.

But, the grammar really needs help. There are some glaring errors, some forewarned. The rhythm is good. I read straight through it. The story is well constructed, as well.

What a page turner. Their parents died in a car accident so Laura, who was only 21, left college to take care of her twin sisters and brother and the tragedies began. Their parents owned a store and Laura was trying to keep it up, help her siblings and then stuff kept happening.

This wasn’t at all what I expected, however it was amazing anyways! It caught me way off guard and kept me questioning and second guessing my thoughts on how things would play out!
