First comes love, then comes marriage, and then there's the third wheel. The best friend left me behind. The single one. Me.
Cassie Hart has watched her best friends find the perfect guys while she kissed a lot of frogs. So when she finally realizes that it's easier to order shoes online than it is to find a decent man, she gives up. No more men. No more romance. No more waiting for true love.
Instead, she decides to focus on her new summer internship and life outside men—until fate deals her a hand of ex-boyfriends and one infuriating new boss. Try as she might to avoid love, she's about to learn life isn't about finding the one. It's about reaching him.
Geneva Lee is the New York Times, USA Today, and international bestselling author of over thirty novels. Her bestselling Royals Saga has sold nearly four million copies worldwide. She's shamelessly addicted to recovering alpha males, headstrong heroines, and drop-your-jaw plot twists. People Magazine calls Geneva's books "convincing with fluid writing that's full of drama." When she isn't writing or reading, you might find her on another adventure with her real-life hero and their three kids.
Really liked this one. Heroine deals with a few of her exes at the start. No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine but heroine does refer to her sexual relationships from the past though no detail. Boss/intern relationship. Some humour. Outspoken heroine. Secondary characters from previous books in series are included at times and all feature in the epilogue for the HEA.
Cassie feels deserted by her friends now that they’ve gone off and found the loves of their lives, but she’s determined to forge her way into a new career during her internship. On her first day she bumps into three exes before her working day even starts, and Trevor is even working in her team as a second intern. The tension is palatable and even noticed by the CEO, Gavin, who is very cute and very off limits.
Review: ⭐️ 4/5
A nice conclusion to the Olympic Falls series to round out all three main female characters. Cassie is a fun character, although I was mildly irritated by the whole saying whatever comes to mind but never actually being able to read those things. I enjoyed the story between Cassie and Gavin, it was very lighthearted and sweet, and I liked the subplot of the Majestic Theatre running throughout. I’d almost like a fourth instalment to see where the three girls end up later on, especially with Jillian’s prognosis, but I’m not sure what story they’d be able to build.

I have to say this series has taken me by surprise. I have read many of your book series, but this series from the first book to the third book I have gone from crying for Jillian and Liam to wanted to struggling Jess and Roman to simply giggling with Cassie and Gavin. A Must Read 💖 Thank you for fabulous summer read !!!!!! Loved It 📚
The typos and grammatical errors in this series were distracting. It isn’t something I noticed in her other books. I’m going to continue reading her books, hoping she has a new proofreader.
