So much raw emotion., hurt, betrayal, lies and secrets, that’s the life of a spy. Never did Kade think his life would turn out to be this. Leaving behind the one person he loved most, Gracie.
Kade broke her heart and no matter the years they’ve been apart these two are electric and the heat that radiates off them is the hottest thing ever. When Kade realizes Gracie is involved with someone affiliated with The Twisted Hearts he has to get to her and try to win her back. The one thing no one can figure out is why the Brooks family has been targeted. So many questions to be answered, lives changed, can Gracie really hear Kade when he tells her everything or will he be too late to fix what he broke?
This series is unlike anything I’ve read before, this author pours her heart and soul into every story weaving us through The Brooks family. We are sucked into their world, kept on our toes, and always looking over our shoulder waiting for the other shoe to drop. Amazing read, I received a copy of this book.

Masks of Devotion was heart wrenching. Why has the Brooks family been targeted by a powerful gang? Gracie and Kade struggle to find a way to be together; but his work and her trust issues keep putting a wall between them. Interpol, murder, the spy game and family loyalty are connections that are woven throughout this steamy read. Maggie Cole is the Goddess of steamy romance because her writing is just that good and her stories so captivating. Masks of Devotion was a beautiful second chance love story that featured amazing characters, an engaging plot line, intriguing side stories and a fantastic, leave you begging for more, ending.

Wow wow wow!! Kade and gracie's story will blow your mind just like all the Brooks family's stories in this series. Kade and gracie go through so much to be together they hid how they felt for one another from Gracie's siblings for years until they couldn't. Gracie fought her feeling hard for kade because of the lies he told her to protect her and her family. Kade had to do what he had to, to protect the woman he loves and her family with the twisted hearts still after the Brooks family. This story has all the feels! Maggie Cole did amazing job once again!!

OMG Kade is amazing and truly a super hero!
I loved this story about Kade and Gracie. Kade is best friends with Gracie's older brother Hudson and he has known Gracie since she was a baby. He has grown up with all of the Brooks family and considers them family.
Gracie is about 4 years younger than Kade and has always liked him. Kade has watched Gracie turn into a beautiful and intriguing woman. They actually met up a few years ago and he kissed her and she wasn't prepared for the intense reaction to him. Then a short time after Kade made his intention clear that he wanted to be with her and they spent a glorious night making love.
In the morning Kade received a text that his job was sending him away. He hated it but knew he had to go. So for 3 years Gracie submerged herself in partying and hating how Kade left her right after they made love and didn't try to contact her inthe meantime.
So this rich playboy named Fisher comes into her life. He's everything Kade is not and sets his sites on Gracie.
Kade comes back to town 3 years later and says how much he loves Gracie but she doesn't want to hear it because he hurt her. Kade is doing all he can to keep her safe when he finds out the Twisted Hearts gang is coming after the Brooks family. Kade can't tell Gracie what he does for a living but he does give some information to the brothers to try to keep them safe.
This is my favorite story so far of the series. Loads of love and intrigue. Maggie Cole this was absolutely spectacular. Ready to read Connors story.

She's done it again! The fifth installment of Maggie Cole's Together We Stand series is an incredible combination of excitement, mystery, suspense, heart breaking misunderstandings, stunning acts of love and all encompassing excitement. Gracie and Kade have known each other forever, flirted, fell in love, acted on that love, then said goodbye. Gracie spent the next three years trying to forget, making bad choices and hating herself for them. Kade worked to do a job he believes will make the world a better place. A job he's still working. He's back in town and determined to have a life with Gracie once he's able to wrap up his chapter of the Twisted Hearts Gang saga. They fight, they giggle, they have soul shredding sex. It's a pleasure to follow them on their journey back to each other. I started reading at 3pm and at 3am, I finished reading. I could not put it down! I'm embarrassed to say I even carried my Kindle on bathroom breaks (not really embarrassed but feel I should be). This book perfectly sets up the next and last book in the series. However, to call Masks of Devotion a stop gap in the story is doing it a disservice. This book has all you could want and more. Literally, I laughed, I cried, I screamed at the characters, I swore out loud. My toes curled reading the steamy hot love making scenes. The Brooks family is the family we all wish we had. Or pray we marry into. Come join the ride.

Mask of Devotion ( #5 in TWS series) is Gracie Brooks and Kade Coral’s story. Kade has always been in Gracie’s life, being he grew up being best friends with her older brother Hudson. I want to preface this review by saying that this book is my favorite of all of Maggie's books, and I am a fan of all of her work. Maggie is masterful in weaving a story that draws me into the world she created. She has a way of writing a story that grips your whole being that you feel like you have been swallowed up in the book world she so meticulously and carefully created.
Masks of Devotion is Kade and Gracie's story. Kade had broken Gracie's heart a few years before. Maggie writes so well on how this break-up affected both of them, especially Gracie. It will tear at your heartstrings. Gracie's decisions shows how broken she was when Kade left. Both characters were well-developed and I felt a connection with both of them. I absolutely love the Beckett family. They are a huge part of the story. As I mentioned in previous reviews of Maggie Cole's books, her secondary characters add so much to the story.
Masks of Devotion took me on a ride of emotions that I didn't want to end. There are twists, turns, heartbreak, suspense, and family loyalty. I have to confess, I think this is the best book in the series so far, I loved complexity of Kade's character, the turmoil of keeping such a big piece of his life secret from not only the woman he has always loved, but from those he considered family. You can feel their frustration, Gracie needing answers, Kate wishing he could give them and salvage what they once had. Ups and down, action and chaos mesh in the most gripping and dangerous ways. Fast paced, heated and fun. I live how this series continues to give more insight into the rest of the characters and fills in some blanks along the way.

Once again, the over the top talented Maggie Cole has blown my mind, so I find myself kicking myself all over again for being late to her brilliant party. So, Gracie & Kade fell in love back in the day until he left her without a word for a long time. She's trying to move on with Fisher when Kade comes back in her life covered in secrets that don't make friends. Now Gracie has a choice to make as she thinks Fisher is safe, while Kade is dangerous, and yet, their chemistry never turned off along with all their feelings. I mean, who doesn't love secrets that separated you from the man you loved right?! It makes for some angst, along with twists to get the f-bombs dropping as you sit on the edge of your seat waiting for that other shoe to drop. Oh, and there's still the biggest problem of all...The Twisted Hearts gang who is rabid about targeting the Brooks family and no one knows why. WOW, just WOW! I read this book start to finish in one sitting. Every Brooks story I fall in farther in love and think Maggie Cole could not possibly write a better book, but she proves me wrong and always hits it outta the park.

Kade made decisions that not only effect him and Gracie but the whole Brooks family. Gracie cannot forget Kade and turns to alcohol to numb the pain. When Kade comes back he realizes the mistakes he has made and tries to make things right. Just when Gracie forgives him, the Twisted Hearts make things difficult.
I love how all of the stories have intertwined together and we get glimpses of the all of the characters in the books. This series is by far my favorite. I cannot wait to read Connor's story.

Another great story in the Together we Stand series this time featuring Gracie Brooks who parties hard in an attempt to forget her broken heart. Kade Coral is the Interpol spy and family friend who slept with her then 6 hours later left to work abroad. 3 years pass without a word and she is seeing on-off boyfriend Fisher when Kade shocks her by re-entering her life as Fishers business associate, professing to still love her. Turns out he is spying on Fisher who is actually a member of the Twisted Hearts gangs Elite, a group of rich business men and women who secretly run the gang. As usual Maggie ensures the would be lovers go through a roller coaster ride of emotions and struggles before finally getting together. These books, entwining the love stories of the Brooks siblings, build an interesting tale leading to the ultimate showdown with the gang involving Connor in the final book. Can't wait to read it!

Sometimes a mask is necessary to hide a secret which protects a loved one. Thankfully devotion has the prospect of removing the mask.
Kade & Gracie’s story is heart and soul enriching. Masking their devotion to each other from protective Brooks brothers by hiding their feelings as they deny themselves to act upon them, only to have Kade forced to leave.
Gracie fights to acknowledge her feelings for Kade upon his return. Kade has to fight his desire to spill a major secret he has to hide in order to protect her and her family from the evil of the Twisted Hearts.
Maggie Cole has given us another awesome look in to the Brooks family. Do yourself a favor and grab this book as soon as it is available.

Superb!!
At 1/4 of the way into the book I was ready to write a review of the this book already. Not only is this book another magnificent story of the Brooks family but I am in awe of Maggie Cole. Her style of writing is magnificent! I have read multiple series before and no other author does what Maggie does. She inputs different styles, twists and turns in each of the books. It really keeps you/me hooked and coming back for more. In other series I find myself bored because it is the same story layout in each book. Same old same old. I loved the inputs of characters thoughts in this story. Really fave you a better insight into the character. Great touch!!

Wow the twists, turns, lies, betrayal, espionage, secrets and danger get more intense with each book.
Kade worked for the military, CIA and now Interpol. He has helped train, discover pertinent information and take down gangs. He is a trained spy and has clearance to kill.
Gracie thought she new her boyfriend Fletcher but things happen that tell her otherwise. Her family is still in danger from the Twisted Hearts but she doesn't realize how until Kade tells her about Fletcher.
This riveting read had me on the edge of my seat, devouring the pages trying to find out what would happen next. There are quite a few surprises I wasn't expecting. This series is fantastic and thrilling to read. Maggie Cole takes you through the story, feeling what the characters feel and giving you so much details to every scene.

Heart wrenching ❤️
This story is so intense. Gracie and Kades love story is one hell of a dollar coaster ride of emotions.
The flirting at the beginning, to their first night together and then Gracie getting her heat broken when Kade has to leave because of his job in Interpol (which know one knows about). Then Gracie meets Fisher who turns out to be a not so nice guy and you eventually find out he’s high up on the Twisted Hearts ladder. Enter Kade, he finally returns home as he is working on trying to take Fisher down, by gaining his trust and pretending to be into the same crazy things. While also trying to win back the love of his life Gracie.
Things get intense towards the end good over evil prevail, and you get to see your HEA Kade and Gracie have a love we all wish to have ❤️

When you think it’s over, another skeleton will jump out of the closet. This series has been a rollercoaster and this book adds to the “never ending treats”. Why? Why are they targets? Why are they so important to the twisted hearts?
Now Kade is someone I didn’t expect to do what he does but it only adds to the storyline and it gives him those “bad boy vibes”. Everyone is connected somehow and I love how the family becomes closer and stronger, more resilient and most of all determined. They have each other’s backs and will always stick together no matter what. Kade and Gracie’s story just screams second chance, brother’s best friend and I love how we get to see the broken and vulnerable side to Gracie. This series just have me in a chokehold and I can’t wait to read the last book.

This is book 5 in the Together We Stand series. And it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish.. I didn’t want to put it down it takes you on an action packed, emotional roller coaster. Maggie Cole sure knows how to tell a story. Gracie is a wonderful character. She tried to hide from her feelings with drinking and partying.. and she’s devoted to her family. And Kade.. wow, he’s strong and tough. And incredibly smart. You can see his devotion to Gracie, and his love for her. And not just her, but her family as well. This book has the right amount of everything. Love, action, and lots of heat. And it definitely leaves you wanting more. Definitely recommend!

This book is so intense and moving it literally sucked the oxygen from my body!!! The story of this gripping love between Gracie & Kade kept me on the very fringe of reason in my own mind. Wondering what would happen next gave this book a thrilling and exciting edge - while at the same time made me want to take a deep breath before reading the next paragraph as I shuddered. The phrase “pins & needles” doesn’t begin to describe the feelings of intensity this book provoked within me. Seriously, Maggie Cole is this generation’s best drama author ever!!! Each book she writes is more exceptional than the previous one. This is book #5 in the Together We Stand series and readers will love it.

I thought Hudson had the best story until I read Kade and Gracie's story. The two have know each other since she was a baby, he is best friends with her brother Hudson. They were friendly as adults would talk and text each other, he was always there for her when she needed it. They finally admit their feelings for one another, sleep together and he gets called to work for his job and completely disappears from her life. Both of the them are heartbroken apart. Her family seems to have no idea of the downward spiral that is happening with her, the excess drinking and sleeping with anyone. The interaction between the two characters in my opinion is more heartbreaking than Gabriella's story.

Now Gracie makes bad decisions to try and forget Kade but all Kade does is think about Gracie. He can’t tell Gracie he’s a spy. He can’t tell her why he left. But he’s on a mission to take down the Twisted Hearts until one day one of the elite sets their sites on Gracie. Can she forgive Kade? Will they have have their happily ever after. This book had enthralled. I was rooting for Kade the entire time. In my mind I kept telling Gracie please love him. You must read this book. A love story to rival all love stories.

Continuing on with the Brooks family saga so far.
Kade confesses hes a spy and didnt mean to hurt any of the Brooks family certainly not Gracie who he loves with all hes heart even though he left he 3years ago after sleeping with her for the 1st time.
I enjoyed the story but took it with a pinch of salt. Come on big bad spy, badass killer cries like a baby at the drop of a hat because he thinks she wont forgive him??? Purrrrlease lol
Bad guys galore, good guys win the day but leads you right up the garden gate ready for the next book. Conner and Monica/Gia's story bk6.

This would have to be one of my favorite books of this series. This isn’t one of those rekindled love stories. Gracie and Kade had a relationship that didn’t work out because he had to leave for work. When he got back, he wanted the relationship to pick right back up, but Gracie didn’t. After a while it happened and they worked through everything to be able to be together. They had to defy odds of her family not wanting them to be together. This book was written so well and was so funny. But the cliffhanger…. OMG!!! What was that about???!!!! I sure didn’t see that coming! I’m definitely going to have to read the next book to find out what happens next.

Loved this book.
I liked Kade and the notion of his love for Gracie never wavering. He came back, and was blunt over his intentions for her.
It’s clear he’s questioned his own morals over how far he’ll go to infiltrate a situation. I just didn’t like personally when it involved other women. He could tone it down slightly in front of Gracie, with the ‘ass slapping’ and all.
Overall a good read. I love being proven wrong. But I’m not as excited for Connor’s story. I love reading about the man when they’re more serious and protective, that seems the opposite of Connor. But we shall see.
