Would you, for a brief period of time, step into the darker side of human nature to witness the unraveling of humanity? Would you still go if you knew the toll it would take? If you knew it would change you? Refugee pulls you out of your comfort zone and forces you to confront your own world view. This book explores one midwife's experiences in three distinct humanitarian crises in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. These experiences embody travel, tragedy, and the true sense of connection and freedom that can only be found in survival.

A book you’ll never want to put down !! This book had left me in tears of your raw resilience and love of this work. Truly one of the most incredible books I’ve ever laid my eyes on. The raw emotion is truly felt and passed on to the reader , as well as the wanting to make this world a better place for the babies of the future.
