Having read Gabe’s story, I was eager to read a story about another Lewis sibling. Starr was sweet and I sympathized with her feelings of being the odd member of the siblings as the last born. I liked Waylon and his care of Starr and his friendship with Noel. Angel was awful! I wanted to talk some sense into her, but she learned eventually.
While this story takes place in December, and there were some Christmasy things going on, I felt as though Christmas was just a setting for everything else and not an important part of the story.
I liked that the main characters do pray over things and are willing to do the right thing.
While I liked the relationship between Waylon and Starr, I didn’t like all the kisses. They weren’t usually descriptive, but there were so many that it bothered me.

Beautiful 😍
Starr went home for Christmas with trepidation: her sister was marrying her ex-boyfriend and she was the only unemployed person among her parents five children. When she sees Waylon, her brother's best friend, feelings she never expected are stirred.
I liked the relationship that developed between Waylon and Starr. Their banter was sweet and at times hilarious. But what I liked most of all was that he saw her. Her family didn't always and it was a little sad for Starr sometimes because she didn't seem to have a place among them.
Waylon helped her carve out a space for herself among her family members and she began to realize that they did love her.
There's a theme of forgiveness running through this book as Starr struggled to forgive her sister, Angel. Readers will be reminded that God gives us enough grace to do hard things. He also helps us to make the right choices when we invite Him to be a part of our decision-making process.

A wonderful story of moving forward and trusting God with the outcome of life and with a Christmas theme to make it all the more enjoyable.
The story around Starr and Waylon will keep you glued to this book and bring to mind the precious gift of Christmas.

Cute, but cheesy and needed proofing.
I liked the hero and heroine, but I hated how proud the hero was of his “smooth talking.” I don't trust smooth-talking guys; they're so fake and/or working toward an ulterior motive.
I liked most of the family dynamics, except for the sister. She was unbelievably one-dimensional, completely awful until right at the end. I liked that all the siblings were named after Christmas words, but I don't think Noel is a man's name—at least, if it's pronounced Noelle like the “First Noel.”

I love the book. Starr and Waylon was an adorable couple. Angel and Alton did Starr so wrong. I love the ending. I can't wait to read the next book in the Lewis Family series.

God's love
When Starr came home she had no idea what she would find there. She not only found the courage to write but an unexpected love. Waylon was lonely missing his mother and sister while trying to keep his mother's store open but he got an unexpected surprise.

Being the baby of the family, Starr hides her true feelings and desires as she tries to live up to her families expectations or at least what she thinks is expected.
The unexpected romance between Starr and Waylon was fun!❤ His cheesy lines had me grinning and groaning.
I loved the faith and forgiveness also the struggles with forgiveness.

I'll Be Home by Toni Shiloh
This story of forgiveness and love made me love the Lewis family. I love Waylon’s Christmas store and Starr’s new career. We have a glass ornament that reminds me of the ice sculptures that they visited as well as the nativity one.

Quick book look ...
This is Toni Shiloh's first book in the Lewis family series. I really liked the fact that she started out by telling the story of the baby of the family first. Recently unemployed, Starr does not want to return home a failure. The fact that her sister is about to marry her ex-boyfriend does not help. But then her brother brings his best friend, Waylon, home for dinner. (Maybe being back in town might be alright after all.) First Starr has to survive the wedding. Then she has to determine whether she wants to go back to the big city. Waylon has to decide if he wants to keep operating his Mom's Christmas store, or if he wants to find a new dream. Then they both have to decide if a relationship is worth it.
I enjoyed this sweet romance by Toni Shiloh. I look forward to reading more in this series.

Such an enjoyable book. I thoroughly loved Starr and Waylon's story. The family dynamics were complicated but God's love proved to be simple and just what they all needed. Thank you, Ms. Shiloh, for sharing your gift and God's word with all of us.

Loved it!
I loved that you didn't make this all about sex. It was a wholesome story that warmed the soul and kept true to the message. I also wanted to know what happened to Ashton. Also, just a note, there was a missing pronoun in the second sentence.

Clean, wholesome and inspirational story. Starr is a great character, the situation with her sister is....a shock factor. The Lewis family seems huge and I did get lost in the crowd a little bit in the beginning but that didn't last long. Waylon's instant attraction to her broke through a lot of barriers for Starr. He listened to her, supported her decisions whatever they were and made her think, which lead them both to remember to pray about all their pondering life and career decisions. Very encouraging story, I hope to read more about the other siblings in the Lewis' family.

A good, fluffy, Christmas read.
I really liked this story. A cute brother's best friend romance. Starr and Waylon have a spark of attraction after not seeing each other for a few years. Waylon sees that his best friend's little sister isn't so little anymore and he's quite interested in her. Luckily she's interested in him too and they have the blessing from the rest of her family. These two are so cute. I loved their romance and the openness of it. Starr shares her "secrets" with Waylon early on and she kept him in the loop about things. They go on dates and hangout together throughout the book. I loved their interactions and time together. So sweet and realistic. Such a great book for the Christmas season. And the epilogue was so cute!

This book is a good clean Christian book. Starr is the baby of the family. she gets layer off from her job but she doesn't want to tell her family. She find unexpected romance with her brother's friend Waylon. I loved the faith and forgiveness in the book. God is always with you.

Starr and Waylon’s was ordained by God. Angel was totally wrong for committing to arrogant Ashton without apologizing because sister love should be stronger. Shiloh is great with creating strong family ties. I have enjoyed every book. One question, why did Ashton speak so lowly of Starr? That really irked my whole being! Above all, bless and thank you for writing and putting God first.

Beautiful, heartwarming, “I’ll Be Home” met all those happy Christmas romance feels. I loved the sense of family, healing, coming home, and finding your happily ever after. Shiloh always draws our hearts to the true meaning of Christmas, faith, and family, and the romance of it all.

Some of the characters could have used more depth, but this was a very sweet story. I would have loved to see the villain in the story confronted with his actions.

I picked up this book, knowing it would be a light Christmas read with Hallmark-y Christmas vibes. A relatable, slightly lost MC returning home to the world's most dysfunctional family (for real) and an old family friend who is infinitely more attractive than he ever was before. 😉😂
As the story progressed, it turned to one of healing, redemption, holding fast to what you love, and letting things go. I seriously was not expecting such a satisfying resolution or sweet romance. 😭

Making Assumptions
Loved the story. We all make assumptions. Families will have their issues but love usually shines through in the end. Starr assumed her family would think less of her with her job loss. Angel thought Starr was jealous. The Lewis brothers had different stances on working in the family business. It proves that things are better when you get clarification. The quiet love story was icing on the cake.

What a beautiful Christmas Love story, I believe Starr came home at the right time it made her realize her true passion is writing. I knew Ashton was off the Starr stated that her was marrying him. Waylon is perfectly made for Starr everything happened in God's timing. Ms.Toni I love your books can't wait to read the next one.

Super cute and fun Christmas story!!! It was light enough to be easily read in a short amount of time but deep enough to cause me to examine my own faith. I really enjoy this writers authenticity she brings to the table. I highly recommend this book to fans of contemporary romance.
