Piper has a retail shop in Good Hope. She loves it and it has been her dream for quite some time. Now after relocating the shop, she is having a hard time making ends meet. Her business is down and her financial situation is hazardous.

In the past, Piper was in a relationship with a man who cheated on her. Now, her younger sister, Sasha, is engaged to the same man. Piper has been asked to be the maid of honor and her mother and sister are pressing to have Piper make Sasha’s wedding dress.

This is where I had a problem with Piper. She never told her parents or her sister about why there was a breakup. During this book she continually tries to justify keeping the secret even after her sister is engaged to this man. I do not believe there was any valid reason to not have a talk with her sister.

Piper has the chance to reconnect with Anders. They met years ago and now he has returned to town to visit his brother and family. There was a spark years ago and it has resurfaced. Piper and Anders are very attracted to one another and they share a strong sense of rapport.

At first Piper tries to keep Anders at a distance because of all the stress in her life. She does not feel she has time for any kind of relationship. But, that does not last long. Their feelings are simply too strong to ignore.

Being in Good Hope has been a wonderful situation for Piper. Her mother is a toxic woman who apparently takes pleasure in finding fault with Piper and doing so in public situations. But, in Good Hope, Piper has supportive friends. There is support for her as a business owner as well as for her as a person.

People like Piper and admire her. Good Hope has helped her reach her potential in life.

Anders has traveled around for many years. When he stays in Good Hope for a period of time, he is introduced to the amazing atmosphere. The small town is populated by people who believe that helping your fellow man should be a part of every day life. He begins to realize that his brother is here in this place because it is warm and welcoming.

This is a story of family. And it is quite evident that family is not necessarily made up of people who are your relatives. Family is a group people who care for one another. Anders’ brother’s family help him realize what life might be for him.

This is also a story of a woman who is trying to realize that she is a powerful person who is capable of surviving whatever comes her way.

Anders is a man who is changing his life. When he has the opportunity to re-evaluate, he realizes that there are things he has missed in life. Like most people, there are regrets and now he has the opportunity to start over.

Piper and Anders are a very romantic and supportive couple. They believe in one another. There are some misunderstandings, but there is also a sweet and lovely happily ever after.

I received this book from the publisher. I am voluntarily writing this review and all opinions are completely my own.

I was given an advanced readers copy of this book and I am giving my honest review. I will admit up front "Good Hope" is my favorite place to go to find a smile and feel at peace. That may sound a bit odd but let me explain. The author not only gives her readers a romance but incorporates real people with real issues and not simple ones. I never leave the town of "Good Hope" without feeling good but also reflective and hopeful.

Anders and Piper are a couple with hot physical attraction but also bound in common family drama. He learns and grows with the help of Piper but also this wonderful town. Piper is faced with many challenges. Her business is in trouble as well as family issues cause her life to be stressed. Anders comes along at the right time to give her support, hope and love. Together they meet difficulties head on but have personal conflicts along the way. Their journey is not a smooth one but it is one worth traveling.

Many characters are introduced as well as many known throughout the series. I enjoy catching up on the citizens of this community. I also look forward to more on the new characters and the impact it will have on Piper, Anders and "Good Hope". I highly recommend this book and the entire series.

At a certain point, even though I had lots of stuff I needed to do, I just had to keep reading. I guess that's my one sentence review of the book :)

We've seen Piper briefly in previous books, and she got her story in this one. Piper runs a clothing boutique, which is struggling when she was forced to change locations. She's also struggling in her personal life - her sister is engaged to Piper's ex, and her horrible mother expects Piper to find, and possible make, a wedding dress.

Anders is a good match for Piper - he's a great listener and just what she needs. I loved watching their friendship develop. I also liked watching all of the holiday festivities in Good Hope - the town where I'd like to live.

I got an advance copy of this book in return for an honest review.

After reading several different romance authors, I've come to realize what makes a great one. Cindy Kirk is one because she has the ability to woo a reader into forgetting just about everything to read her book. True To You In Good Hope is a story that I just couldn't put down. Anders Cross is a great hero who changes his life to settle down to start a business in Good Hope. Piper Ambrose is a woman approaching a crossroads in her life. Her bridal store is failing, and she's pushed into helping her sister with a wedding dress. When these two people meet, sparks fly and a great novel emerges. Thank you, Ms. Kirk, I can't wait to read the next one.

I love the way that Cindy Kirk brings the town of Good Hope together. Each story can be read alone or also in sequence to give a reader that little lift of joy when they catch a glimpse of an old friend from a previous book. This book continues with that excellent writing.
Piper has to deal with a very critical mom and sister who is selfish. Enter Anders a sweet, funny fake boyfriend who anyone would want to be the real deal. Great story that made me laugh, cry, feel for the heroine and rejoice when they were able to work thru their problems.

I received this book from the author in the hope I would write an honest review. All the opinions in the review are completely my own.

This is the story of Piper Ambrose and Anders Cross (Beck’s younger brother). Piper grew up in Good Hope, but moved to Georgia with her family. As an adult, she returned to Good Hope and runs Swoon, a women’s boutique and wedding salon. Forced to move when renovations are undertaken at her downtown location, her business is floundering at her new location, away from traffic, and she fears she will have to close her store. Complicating her life is her sister Sasha, engaged to Piper’s ex-fiancé. Piper broke off the engagement when she discovered her fiancé was cheating on her, but Piper never told her sister or her parents why. Piper’s mom is domineering and the opposite of supportive.

Anders gave up a promising advertising career in New York because he didn’t like what the job was doing to him, and he has spent the last several years working outdoors in the west. Anders remains estranged from not only Beck but the rest of his family. Anders is visiting his brother’s family in Good Hope, and Beck has convinced Anders to stay for six weeks.

Piper and Anders met at Beck and Ami’s wedding and instantly connected, but nothing came of that brief encounter. When they meet again, both feel the connection. Matchmaker Gladys and her crew get involved, of course, and it is not clear if their machinations are helpful or not. With all sorts of pressure pulling Piper and Anders apart, can they see beyond their personal issues and trouble, and make a lasting connection?

I loved this Good Hope story. Even though this the 15th book in the series, and lots of familiar faces and places abound, a reader can appreciate the story even without having read any previous stories in the series.

I received True to You in Good Hope as part of a Goodreads giveaway.

Piper runs a wedding dress boutique in her childhood home of Good Hope, Wisconsin. Harried by a younger sister who is marrying her ex and a high-maintenance mother, Piper has formed a "family of choice" with the residents of her small town. When Anders, the rugged brother-in-law of one of her friends, arrives in town, they are immediately attracted to one another, but Piper is hesitant given her past and present circumstances. As Anders and Piper contemplate their respective futures, can they find a path forward together?

All in all, this fell flat for me. I'm not a huge fan of massive multivolume romance series, where everyone in a small town slowly gets paired up. After the first dozen or so, it begins to feel like the author is phoning it in. And, I guess, a small town where everyone knows everyone and is kind and successful and altogether too good to be true is a bit too cloying and cloistered of a setting for me. I need characters with some complexity and what I got here was a bit too pat and two-dimensional. Not my style.

I never want the stories and love to end in the Good Hope series. I love returning to see characters that are all like family in this small town and who always are there to lift you up and offer any support you need. Anders and Piper's story is no different. They are sweet, romantic and have amazing chemistry. Gladys is the best resident of Good Hope, she has her hands in the start of lots of these relationships and I can't wait to see who she "helps" next!

I so enjoyed this heartwarming romance by Cindy Kirk. What a nice escape it was to relax and just be immersed into the happenings and the relationships of the people in the special town of Good Hope.
Piper Ambrose was the owner of the bridal store Swoon and a great seamstress. Her sister, Sasha, was engaged to be married to Piper’s former boyfriend. Piper had never told her family that Heath had cheated on her which resulted in their breakup. She is uncomfortable in being a part of the plans for Sasha’s wedding. Their mother is very critical and controlling of both daughters. Sasha is dragging her feet in finding the perfect wedding gown and Mom volunteers Piper to make her dress.
Anders Cross is ready to make changes in his life. After coming to Good Hope to visit his brother Beck and his family, he starts to look into different options for his life. He has misgivings of his behaviors in the past and wants to make some positive changes.
Piper and Anders had met a few years back when Anders brother got married. They were both attracted to one another at that time. After meeting up once again, they still felt that attraction. Gladys’s, the town matchmaker, seems to think they should be the next match and passes on the Relationship cards to Piper.
The build of the romance between this couple was touching and very enjoyable to read about. They found a friend in each other and Piper needed a confident which she had in Anders. She was not ready for a relationship and especially with a man who would be leaving. She had scars and insecurities from past relationships and her life was incredibly busy with her store which was not doing well and with her family and the upcoming wedding of her sister. However, the more time that they spent together only caused the attraction to become stronger and ultimately they fell in love with each other. There were some misunderstandings and hurtful moments between Piper and her sister and with Anders. The great part about this town is that there is a caring friend or family member to come along side you and be a listening ear when you feel like your world is crashing in on you.
This is a beautifully written story that I loved very much. It was a story of romance, conflict, past mistakes, forgiveness and moving on with life after heartaches and disappointments. It was a pleasure reading about Piper and Anders getting their happily ever after.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am happy to voluntarily review it.

Cindy Kirk pairs bridal shop owner Piper Ambrose and former advertising executive Anders Cross in True To You in Good Hope. I loved that Piper and Anders connected at Beck and Ami Cross’s wedding. The spark of attraction between the couple made this second chance romance hard to put down.
Piper and Anders are both at a cross roads. Piper has a lot on her plate; personally and professionally. Her once successful bridal salon is struggling since it moved its location and her mother and sister are pressuring her to create a bespoke bridal gown. Anders abruptly left a successful position at an advertising agency and has been working out west for years as an outdoor guide. He’s agreed to stay in Good Hope for the holidays as he visits with family and figures out a career path.
Cindy Kirk creates memorable, relatable characters and is a fabulous storyteller. Piper and Anders have a lot in common- both are strong, pragmatic individuals. Loved the honesty in their conversations and that Anders understood Piper’s reluctance to trust people. Cindy Kirk has created a deep friendship between Bea, Charlotte and Piper in the past three Good Hope books. I was glad to see these three women support each other in Piper’s story and that my favorite matchmaker, Gladys, made several well timed appearances in the novel! Enjoyed that the author wove both Piper’s and Ander’s’ family members into the storyline as it provided a lot of insight to the plot.
Piper and Anders story is a fantastic addition to the Good Hope series—it’s a powerful story of forgiveness, hope, love and community set in Door County, Wisconsin. I look forward to reading about the next couple who is gifted with Gladys’ relationship cards!

I highly recommend True to You in Good Hope! It is a feel good book –which is exactly the type of book needed in these uncertain times. Pick up a copy, pour a glass of wine and settle in for a fabulous story!

As always I love returning to Good Hope to catch up with some old fictional friends. This time around we are involved with two characters that have been introduced on the periphery in the past, Piper, the owner of Swoon, and Anders, the brother of Beck. While I always enjoy the introduction of new characters in Good Hope, Ms. Kirk still manages to give us a glance at the lives of our familiar favorites to see how their stories are still progressing.

Although this book focused on the friendship and potential romance between Piper and Anders, I was much more interested in the dynamic between Piper and her sister. I found myself wanting to see what would happen in their relationship since there was definitely a wedge that had the potential to push them apart. Sometimes it isn't always about the love affairs for me, so I enjoyed having this additional story line to keep me interested.

Overall I am always pleased to travel back to Good Hope. Visiting the pleasant town, especially around Christmastime is always a welcomed distraction. (I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it.)

This might have been one of my most favorite trips back to Good Hope. This book has all the feels of the first one. I fell in love with Good Hope when I was transported there one Christmas and met Ami and Beck. While I have loved every book and trip back, this book was a really nice treat just in time for the holidays.
It's November and Piper's store is up and running at its new location (not on Main Street). Piper has been a pretty central character in the last two books with her best friends being Bea and Charlotte. In the last book we knew something was going on with Piper and we finally find out what the full story is. Piper's younger sister is getting married to someone Piper knows all too well. Piper's dream of running her own store might not have the happy ending you was hoping for. This all starts to add up, but enter a new face and things might be looking up for Piper!
Beck's brother is also in town, the mysterious Anders. We find out quickly that Piper and Anders had a very romantic meeting at Ami and Beck's wedding. Sparks are still flying when Anders decides to extent his stay in Good Hope through the New Year. Both Piper and Anders have things that haunt and hang over not only them, but their family and their chances at a happily ever after.
What I love about this book is we really get to spend time with Ami and Beck again. While Anders and Piper's story happens during the holidays and all our favorite events are back (Thanksgiving at Muddy Boots, Christmas Stroll, and the Holiday home tour) these are different people and it's so great to see where their story goes.
I couldn't put this book down and was so excited to see where Piper and Anders story goes. It's a fun and interesting ride.
Come back to Good Hope for the Holidays!!!

Returning to the Good Hope series is always an exciting thrilling one. The hero/heroine and the cast of characters and family and the people I would love to know in real life. A community of friends and family helping and caring about each other.
In this storyline we meet Anders (he is the brother of the first book Hero Beck) who has come to visit his brother after traveling the various states for years and teaching people to ski/sledding . Piper who we met in Beatrice book(#12) and knew she had secret finally gets her HEA.
Piper is concerned that the move of her bridal store to another location is not bringing in enough customers and is worried if she could keep the store in the long run. Not only is she worried about her livelihood she now has to deal with her sister being engage to a man Piper dated years ago who cheated on her. Unbeknownst to her sister Piper keeps this secret. She and Anders met years ago when he came for his brother's Beck wedding and had a connection then. Fast forward years later and they both realize the attraction is still there among the both of them.
Piper feels like she is not ready for a romance and they both decide to be friends but of course the friendship turns to them kissing and then taking their relationship to the next level.
Its always a pleasure to see past couples especially any of the Bloom sisters. We get alot of Ami and Beck due to the fact Anders is Beck's brother. We also get to catch up with Bea, Charlotte and their significant other.
It's always a pleasure reading this series, its uplifting encouraging and family geared not just bloodline but where close friends can be seen as family.
Was giving an arc by the author for an honest review.

I received an ARC for honest feedback.

Poor Piper Ambrose. Her sister, Sasha is engaged to her cheating ex-boyfriend Heath. Her dress store, Swoon, recently relocated from Main Street to Wrigley Street is not performing as she wants and is considering closing the store. Her mother, Jenn, always has negative comments about her. Even her best friends, Charlotte and Bea are no longer single like she is. Re-enter Anders Cross, who she shared a passionate kiss with the night of his brother Beckett's wedding to his now wife Ami Bloom Cross, but he turned her down to extend the evening. He has his own baggage - not being true to what he wants while at the advertising firm he worked for in New York.

Anders is visiting Beck and Ami and decides that he wants a place of his own, conveniently next door to Piper. Friendship ensue and Anders becomes her "boyfriend" when Jenn and Sasha visit for Thanksgiving. Anders decides he wants to stay in Good Hope and open up an outfitters store. Anders meets with David Chapin, Ami's stepbrother, who owns the building where Swoon is located. Anders tells he he will take over the lease if something happens to Swoon.

With dwindling sales, Piper goes to David and says she wants out of her lease. David is fine with that. Piper starts her going out of business sale. The night of the Holiday Stroll at Ami and Beck's, Hadley, David's wife, congratulates Anders on the retail spot, not knowing he has not told Piper yet.

After advice from Beck and Ami respectively, Anders and Piper must decide what would make them truly happy.

Welcome back to Good Hope. It was nice to see old friends. And relationship cards. A great read by Ms. Kirk to start getting back into the Christmas spirit.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. The Good Hope book all series readers have been waiting for. Piper is good friends with both Charlotte and Bea and readers have worried about her throughout their wonderful love stories. When will Piper get her happily ever after?

Piper Ambrose has some serious stuff going on in her life right now and the last thing she wants to add to the mix is a relationship. Gladys and her matchmaking crew beg to differ. Anders Cross, Beck's younger brother, is in town and Beck has convinced him to stay in Good Hope through the holidays. That gives Gladys' crew roughly 6 six weeks to make this match.

Anders and Piper remember one another from Beck and Ami's wedding. Both were going through too much to make more of the connection that night but now is a different story. It doesn't hurt to be friends, right??? Gladys turns the friendship into a relationship by outing them in front of Piper's mother and sister who came to visit over Thanksgiving weekend. Anders and Piper decide to go along with the storyline. It's only for a few days, right?

Pretending continues after Piper's family has left Good Hope. The couple is enjoying themselves and their friends. Both have some decisions to make. Will Piper's business, Swoon, survive the move? Is Anders ready to make Good Hope his home?

This book makes you fall in love with Good Hope again. This series is not to be missed for the hopeless romantic. Cindy does what she does so well that readers are pulled into this HEA and feel like they are walking down the Main Street with all of these wonderful characters. You feel the snow, you yearn to be there with these characters. Don't miss another wonderful visit to Good Hope.

Piper owns Swoon, the wedding dress store. Anders is Beck's brother, who is spending the holidays with him and Ami and their 2 kids. Anders used to work in advertising, but quit because he didn't like things he did to get a client. While in Good Hope he starts winter sports tours to help out Fin. Piper was dating a guy, Heath, who cheated on her. That guy is now engaged to her sister Sasha who, along with their parents, don't know that he cheated. Piper hasn't told them. Sasha and their Mother come over during Thanksgiving weekend to pick out a dress. Their Mother says it will be Piper's wedding gift, but Sasha assures her they will be paying like any other bride. Piper has opportunity to tell Sasha but doesn't. They think Anders is Pipers boyfriend, because Gladys said that, and Piper doesn't correct them. Anders wants them to pretend while her family is in town. When they leave, they don't realliy talk about it, but they each think about keeping it going.
Piper has come to the decision to close Swoon, she is not selling enough each month to make it through. Anders had a business plan, and taking with his Brother and some business associates, they say that Swoon would be a perfect location, Anders says No, unless Piper decides to leave. He doesn't tell her, and when she hears about it, she thinks he wanted her to fail, she doesn't give him a chance to explain anything.
He finally talks to her, and explains everything. She also hears from Sasha, who learned about Heath, and basically drops Piper for not being honest with her.

I think there will be a story about Sasha later, who has a moment with Ethan in this book.

Cindy Kirk’s True to You in Good Hope is a wonderful quick read. Although this is book 14 in the Good Hope series, it is a perfect stand-alone story. For those who have enjoyed Cindy’s other Good Hope series books, this one does not disappoint!

Piper Ambrose is the owner of Swoon, a wedding and women’s fashion boutique. When Piper is forced to move her business to a new location, she worries she will not have the business needed to keep her boutique open. In addition to this, Piper’s mother has volunteered her to make a wedding dress for her sister, Sasha, who is engaged to one of Piper’s ex-boyfriends. However, unbeknownst to Sasha or Piper’s mom, Sasha’s fiancé cheated on Piper, and she is afraid he has not changed his ways.
Anders Cross is Beck Cross’s brother. Anders came and visited Beck and begins thinking about how he can make some positive changes in his life. He decides to get a place of his own in Good Hope, which happens to be next door to Piper. When he meets David Chapin, he says he will take over the lease of Swoon if the store cannot survive.
Piper and Anders met several years ago at Beck and Ami’s wedding. When Anders comes back to town, he and Piper get reacquainted; however, Piper only wants a friendship and nothing more. Fate has a different idea for the couple as Anders steps into the role of a boyfriend when Piper’s mother and sister come to town.
It seems everything is against the couple as their affection and love begin to blossom. Will the couple work it out or decide to just remain friends? You will have to read it to find out!

It's like a virtual vacation to Good Hope!

Piper has been around the Good Hope gang, and owns Swoon. You would think that owning a wedding dress shop would mean that Piper has good luck with love. Spoiler alert -- she doesnt. To make things worse, the ex who cheated on her is engaged to her sister now! No one knows what happened in the past, and while it is annoying that Piper wont say a thing about how Heath is such a scoundrel, I do get where she is coming from. Friction in a family is hard... but sometimes we have to bite the bullet too, and make the tough choice to come clean.

Anders Cross (swoon-y name) is Beck's brother and while he has not been around Good Hope much, he has very fond memories of our favorite small town. This is in no small part due to Piper, and i'll let you find out why. He is at a crossroads in his life (pun intended)-having quit his job because of how he disagrees with the methods he has had to use to get clients. Little does he know that he may very well find the answer to his moral and romantic dilemma in Good Hope.

Cindy Kirk has created such an experience for me - revisiting Good Hope and the characters I have come to know and love is always such a treat. Plus, there's this magical combination of heat and romance that just really makes reading her books so enjoyable. Her books are always well written, paced just right and has that special quality of luring me in and making me want to stay.

I am so glad to have gone for a quick, virtual vacation in Good Hope, and I cannot wait to come back home again!

I received an ARC of the book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

As always it's fabulous to be back in Good Hope with it's wonderful cast of characters and amazing backdrop. Good Hope is warm and inviting and I feel like I'm there too, catching up with great friends.

This is Anders and Piper's story and I loved meeting Anders, but why wouldn't I ? He is Beck's brother and Beck and Ami are the mainstays of Good Hope. To me if you love Beck and Ami what's not to love about Anders? He is caring, thoughtful and pretty straightforward and he has a mun, how lovely to have characters that do not fit into designated boxes! Piper, on the other hand, drove me insane! I did feel sorry for her at some points but god that girl needs to learn to stand up for herself and grow a backbone! If my Mum and sister treated me like that and spoke to me in the way that Piper's do I would not just sit back and take it. She needs to learn to love herself and gain some self worth. Also, being single need not define you, just because both her close friends were married she felt alone, when actually, once she allowed herself to join in, she enjoyed herself.

So if you love Good Hope this one will certainly not disappoint you. More Bloom sisters, which I love, less Gladys meddling, which I also love and it's snowing on The Door Peninsula, what's not to love about that?

As the evenings become darker and colder it's a perfect book to curl up on the sofa with; so light the fire, make a cup of tea and enjoy another trip to Good Hope.

Another fabulous story in this series, poor Piper is trying to help her sister Sacha choose her wedding dress over video chat for her marriage to Heath, Pipers ex boyfriend. Piper doesn't know how to tell her sister that the reason they broke up is that he cheated on her. Their mother Jenn is not a very nice woman and seems to delight in criticising every thing that Piper does. Piper visits the diner where she encounters Anders Cross Becks youngest brother, it seems they met at Ami and Becks wedding and really hit it off. Anders decides to stay till the new year and moves into a flat above Book and cup, it seems they are still very attracted to each other and start to see each other.
When Sacha and Jenn suddenly turn up at Muddy Boots Gladys tells them that Anders is Pipers boyfriend so he agrees to act as her fake boyfriend.
Pipers store Swoon is in financial difficulty since moving to Wrigley field.
Anders is very supportive but when Piper hears that he might take the lease of her shop from her she feels betrayed and she thinks that's the reason he's been cosying up to her. Then Sacha calls and tells Piper that she wants nothing more to do with her because she didn't tell her about Heath cheating on her and Heath has broken the engagement.
Piper feels utterly alone but once she decides how her future looks she forgives Anders and he proposes.
I can't wait to read more about this story, will Sacha forgive her ? I certainly hope so

True to You in Good Hope is a friends to lovers, fake boyfriend story that has all the heart and feels that Cindy Kirk is a master of producing. Piper has never felt pretty enough, good enough, successful enough or loved enough when it comes to her family or her ex but since moving to Good Hope she is learning to like herself. She has her own wedding/boutique store that is currently struggling since moving but she is determined to make it succeed. Add to her struggles, finding the perfect wedding gown for her sister who just so happens to be marrying her ex. Anders Cross has come to Good Hope to visit his brother and sister-in-law and ask for forgiveness for not visiting sooner. He and Piper met at Beck and Ami's wedding and had a spark of a connection. As the two get reacquainted, the sparks are still there but Piper only wants friendship for the time being. When her mother and sister arrive unexpectedly, Anders takes on the role of boyfriend. The story that follows is filled with laughs, tears, anger, uncertainty and a whole range of emotions. The characters are relatable and realistic, as are the problems they face. This is a wonderfully written story filled with heart and romance.

I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher but all thoughts and feelings are my own.

Good Hope does it again – another HEA!

Good Hope does it again – another HEA! This is about Piper and Anders. Anders is Beck’s brother and he is in town to enjoy the holidays. They both met at Beck’s wedding but it wasn’t until now that they get to meet each other again. Once Gladys realized that these two had met back during Beck’s wedding she is starting to plan out her matchmaking. She corners Anders and grills him without him know who she is. Old Gladys was up to it again, but this time it wasn’t her meddling that put those two together, it was the fact that they were destined to be together. Both hold secrets that end up hurting each other and others. Beck’s first wife is brought up by Anders at the beginning, but the secret he shared to Beck was something touching. The secret Piper holds is due to her past with a former ex who is now engaged to her little sister, Sasha. Piper and Sasha’s mother is unbearable and Anders and Gladys sees this and acts on it to stop her from attacking Piper.

The question that is still there is what happens to Sasha and Piper, how do they fix their relationship? These two should make up in one way or another, also what happen with Sasha’s connection to Ethan on Thanksgiving? Are they going to get their own book?

Good Hope is my favorite setting in this genre of books, and Cindy Kirk has written another fantastic story.
Piper Ambrose moved back to Good Hope a few years ago and opened Swoon (Cindy's ability to name retail stores is phenomenal). As a secondary character, Piper appeared in a few books, especially "Bachelor Games in Good Hope" (Book 12, the story of Bea and Clay Chapin).
Anders Cross is Beck's younger brother and has not been mentioned often, but he has decided to spend time with Beck and his family. (Beck is a main character in "Christmas in Good Hope", book 1, and has a strong presence as a secondary character being a lawyer and also the owner of Muddy Boots).
Piper and Anders are drawn to each other, but each has demons to work through in their personal lives. It is a very believable and compelling story. Also, Cindy included many of the Good Hope holiday traditions, Thanksgiving at Muddy Boots, the Stroll (along the Main St shops), and the Victorian Home Tour.
As typical, this Good Hope story is full of familiar characters and a setting that feels like a warm mug of cocoa on a cold night. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it.

I love returning to Good Hope. This is a book that can be read as a standalone, but I think it would be more enjoyable if some of the previous books had been read. It might be a little confusing trying to keep track of the different relationships.

I really liked Anders character. He was in a different environment, and he was as accepting of the people of Good Hope as they were of him. I felt badly for Piper. Not only because of the trouble with Swoon, but because her mother seemed to want to crush her self esteem, and she was too afraid to tell her sister about heath.

I like to think her friendship with Anders helped her self esteem and gave her the thoughts to think outside the box. Their romance developed gradually and when the rough patch appeared, I was happy it did not linger. Piper and Anders eventually find their HEA.

I feel like there is another story waiting in the wings about Piper's sister Sasha. Hopefully it will happen and I will look forward to it when it does.

It was nice to revisit many of the couples in Good Hope. There was the sense of family, friendship, love, loyalty, and community all working together for a feel good story.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

The Good Hope books are amongst my favourite series and I was really looking forward to Piper’s story as she has been a background character in the books for quite a while now. She always seems like a lovely person and I hoped that she would get her happy ending in this book.

Right from us first meeting him, I liked Anders Cross and thought he was an interesting character. He is the brother of well established character Beck Cross, so we got to see a lot of him and Ami (and some of the other Bloom sisters) in this book.

The story starts off with Piper’s younger sister being engaged to Piper’s cheating ex boyfriend and Piper feeling left out as her best friends are now happily married. I really felt for Piper as she struggled to stand up to her overbearing mother. A chance meeting with Beck’s brother Anders (who she originally met at Beck and Ami’s wedding) leads to her and Anders reconnecting and becoming friends and possibly more…

As always with Good Hope, there is a wide range of other characters in the story, who we’ve got to know through the previous books. It was great to catch up with these and also to try and guess who might be the main characters in future novels!

I received an advanced readers copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Good Hope is my favorite town and favorite group of characters. I absolutely love how intertwined their lives are and how every member of the community is so focused on making it better. The story of Piper and Anders was probably in the top romances of the GH series, in my opinion. We get to really see Piper’s perseverance and strong mentality shine. She’s a victim of verbal abuse and was cheated on in her past relationship, so she’s hesitant to allow herself a voice in the new life she’s created for herself. What I loved most about Piper and Anders discovering their love for each other, was also how they both were growing as individuals and then coming together. They each had their own truths and challenges, but found the courage to face them head on to be better and more ready for each other. The only criticism I have of this book was that it ended too abruptly for me. I had expected to see their wedding but I’m sure that’ll come in a future book. I would have really liked to see Piper patch things up with her sister and I hope her sister comes to GH, maybe meeting Ethan at Piper’s wedding just like Piper met Anders. This is a heartwarming story and I highly recommend it.

An endearing romance about fighting for the love (and life) we want!!

This is Piper's and Anders' story.

We've been getting to know Piper a bit for several stories, now she gets her own.

Anders is younger bro to Beck (book 1). He's come to town as he's at a crossroads in his life and has come to hang with his brother and fam.

I'd call this a fake boyfriend romance as Anders pretends to be Piper's boyfriend to help her out!!

I'd call this a second chance romance as these two had a strong connection back during Ami's and Beck's wedding!! Now they have a chance to see of they might be right for each other.

I'd call this a friends to livers romance as they start out as friends helping each other thru some really difficult things.

Both characters need to learn and grow. And both need to own up to things in their past and answer for past choices.

I liked how both main characters had problems, issues to work thru and figure out. And how they both had to solve those problems together and separately.

It's a good story. I enjoyed how the author tied this story with the others by having many of the other characters involved in these main characters' lives.

Definitely worth reading!!!

Piper has her hands full with her store Swoon, her sister's impending nuptials to her ex, and now Anders Cross has entered the picture. Anders has come to good hope to visit his brother Beck, but remembers the connection he and Piper shared several years back at his brother's wedding. Will Piper and Anders make a love connection?

Once again, it is always a pleasure to return to the little town of Good Hope. I enjoyed the way the story unfolded around the holidays in Good Hope and it was exactly the type of book I needed with the stress of life in a pandemic. Anders and Piper's story carried through some ups and downs and at times was a little predictable, but I do not think that was a bad thing. We know that they will end up together and the fun of this installment of Good Hope life was seeing characters we know and love and experiencing the holiday season amid the unfolding story of Anders and Piper. If you have been a fan of Good Hope or if this is your first jump into the little town in Wisconsin, you will not be disappointed. I received an advanced reader's copy of this book in exchange for an honest and fair review.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. Piper has her own store, but after having had to move to a less popular location she is having a hard time making ends meet. Her sister has become engaged to her ex that cheated on her and she is having a hard time trying to figure out how to tell her sister what really happened.
Anders has come to town to visit his brother after having bounced around from job to job for the last few years after having left a high stress job in advertising. He feels he needs to make amends with his brother, Beck over somethings in his past.
The matchmakers in town have set their sights on Piper and decide that Anders is a good match. When her sister and mother unexpectedly show up to demand that Piper make her sister's wedding gown, Piper and Anders are thrown into a fake relationship. Both of them have feelings for the other, but are afraid to come forward with them. It was a good book that I will reread in the future.
