This book was a great read of Church History. But I cherish this book most of all because it was a gift from the late Jonathan Thigpen, President of the Evangelical Teacher Training Association (ETTA). He was my professor at Welch College (formerly the Free Will Baptist Bible College) in Nashville, TN from the early to mid 1980's.
It is always refreshing to read the story of the past. This book gives a summary of church history from the apostolic age to 20th century modernity. Recommended to all who want to have a fast track study of church's journey.
