Inner Demons: Awakening

Rate this book
Rachel has always led a quiet life. Timid and meek, she keeps to herself, only allowing as much interaction with others as is needed to survive. Taking care of her frail mother on her own, she often finds a lot of unwanted responsibility resting upon her small shoulders and little time to do much else.

But one night she runs into an unexpected stranger and ends up dragged along with him to a new world unlike any she ever could have imagined. She finds herself mixed up in other's affairs, which turn out to involve her more than she initially thought possible...

About the author

Born in July 1989, Ashley has spent all of her life writing. What first began as a collaboration hobby online has blossomed into a love of creating full-length, young adult fiction that she hopes will be found interesting by all. Her inspirations pull from everything from Stephen King, Japanese anime, JK Rowling, and more.

She is a UNCG college graduate of December 2011 who majored in Information Systems and Operations management, and still she wonders... why not English?

Having always held a passion for writing, she once won a school-wide writing contest while only in sixth-grade (that's like a freshman taking home gold!). She then took all of the creative writing classes offered in high school and continued on her own time afterward.

A National Novel Writing Month (nanowrimo.org) participant [and winner] of 2011, '12, and '13, the program really gave her the push she needed to finish her first title, "Inner Demons", with more on the way! And now, all books are and will be available in both e-book and paperback formats.
