I really wanted to love this book. As a big believer in authenticity and the strength in vulnerability I found this quite forced. The latter chapters felt compelling, but it took effort to get to them.

The paradox of authenticity mentioned bothers me. It felt conflicting to read. Almost contradicting the purpose of the book.

The 3-4 activities shared are useful and I’ll enjoy trying them out for myself and when supporting others.

The world needs people to be ‘naked’ everywhere, not just at work .. or saved for the special few in C-suite and fortune x companies who hold old style leadership roles based on role title and direct reports.

Nothing earth shattering here, basically the same as ever other leadership book.
