Stop setting yourself on fire to keep someone else warm.
Brady and Levi have been together since high school, since before he became famous and started thinking only about himself. Which he should, his football career is everything right now. Brady understands and doesn't mind she's slowly slipping into the background.
Except, when will it be fair to think about herself, or to want more? Where is the line between selflessness and self-sacrifice? Sometimes, she isn't sure she knows anymore.
But if she has to think about a life without Levi, it feels wrong. They've always been there for each other. It's always been about the dream, the goal. Even if it ended up being his dream, his goal.
Because if they're together, isn't it a team effort? Doesn't it become their dream, their goal, together? Or is she just fooling herself? Is it normal for people in a relationship to feel this alone?
Brady has been with her boyfriend, Levi since they were kids. She basically lives her life to take care of him and make him and his career as a professional football player look good. Unfortunately for Brady her relationship has been a little one-sided lately and Levi has not been making her feel like she's anything other than a glorified gopher to make him look good. He basically manipulates her into doing what he wants by making her believe it is best for their future and his career. When she meets James in Vegas, he makes her remember what it used to be like when someone made her the center of attention, actually cared what she thought and wanted to know what made her happy. This is a great first book in this series and I am dying to see what happens next in Brady's life.
So I really like Lexy Timms. I almost put this book down, Levy is a dick head….but I didn’t know that this book would take a spin with the introduction of James. I thought it was going to be all about Levy and Brady ….I was pleasantly surprised since I was ready to scream and say Brady dump him and Kick Levy ass. On to book 2.

This book was hard to put down. Brady and Levi are not a good couple. Levi doesn't appreciate Brady and Brady lets him get away with treating her so badly. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.
I like how she decides that she’s going to do what she wants to do regardless of what her lying boyfriend tells her to do. She’s not wrong about him thinking about just himself. I’m a fan of James 100% so I’m rooting for them.
