If you were ever interested in learning what it takes to maintain a loving and commited relationship, be it male or female, I would recommend reading this book. Relationships are not based on sex alone. Rik Isensee reminds you that it's the heart and mind, sometimes separate of each other. You won't be disappointed.

Interesting and insightful, but a little light. There was plenty of surface-level descriptions of the importance of listening and listening techniques, of what fear of intimacy is, but the former was a bit much and the latter was barely present. Still, it was good. 3.5 stars rounding up.

This was definitely one of the most useful books I've ever read. Learning conflict management and the many other aspects to gay relationships in which it answered a lot of questions I had about. +1 emotional intelligence.
