This is a really great book with so much good information about how to eat healthy versus eating on a "diet." I've been delving into this subject for a few years now, and I learned a lot of information I hadn't learned yet. I also love the pantry list and recipes on the second half of the book. It's a quick read if you're well versed in eating healthy or if you're just beginning this journey. I highly recommend this book!!

Healthy Cooking

Dr Livingood goes above and beyond any other Natural Health Doctors Whom I have crossed paths with. He has a great support group with his wife Jessica, Fitness Trainer Madeline and other team on staff. He does not push his products yet shares a wealth of health knowledge the natural way, he is so up beat and shows testimonials from others, you feel compelled to support his small family business. I have tried several of his products, the Berry Greens taste great, Omegas, Vitamin D and put his Collagen Protein in my Smoothies. His wife’s Mother’s Day Healthy cookbook recipes are yummy and simple to make, as well as the recipes in “Make Food Simple” cookbook. I would recommend his book, FB group, Challenge and products for a Healthy Lifestyle change. I am the Solution!

A good book. A doctor telling and helping you get healthy. This is what his family does and eats. It is food made simple.

Super easy read and very informative! Can’t wait to change many things in the pantry and food list. It’s very scary what is “allowed” in our food in the U.S. and makes me think twice about what I put in my mouth after reading this book. I hope to pass this great information to my children and their young families.

It’s a quick read and very understandable for the lay person. It’s not very well edited. I found several glaring mistakes but the information about our food choices are explained well. I’ve completed Whole 30 and this book is similar. Whole 30 changed my life and taught me how to eat clean, so I was already familiar with most of the material presented in this book. One thing I noted while reading, she has walnuts, pecans, and almonds on the anti-inflammatory food list to avoid yet there are recipes that include them. Ghee is allowed in Whole 30 as is bell peppers, black coffee, and eggs but apparently they aren’t good food according to Make Good Simple. Explanations about msg and sugars is excellent.

This is one of the best little books I've read on healthy living. Very concise and to the point. Set out in steps to take one at a time as you work to improve your eating and lifestyle toward better health. I love the way he encourages you to take small steps, improve something by 1%, rather than jump in and change everything at once. His videos are also great. I highly recommend Dr. Livingood!

Great content, a few typos but I think this is self-published which makes me respect the author more. Theyre feeding us poison and profiting from our chronic illnesses as a result. Dr. Livinggood tells us how to counteract the toxic culture of food we live in.

Half book book, half recipe book. I’ll update after I cook a few if I remember.

I’m really surprised by the good reviews. Not high quality printing. And too much god talk. One of the food rules is: If God made it, eat it. I didn’t expect and didn’t like god talk throughout this book.

No pictures so no sense of the food or what it would look like. Hard to follow and navigate. Recipes may be good but the format is awful.
