I had high expectations for this novel. I'd read another book set in the time of 'Rona and thought this one would be just as good. But...it missed the mark for me. The story wasn't horrible and the writing was fine, I just didn't connect to the characters. There was nothing there that made me root for them. And, there were a couple times that I just looked at my kindle like "WTF?"

Eh. Disappointed I didn't like this one better.

I am being generous when I give this book 2 stars. It had no story line that would keep a reader interested. I put the book down 3 time before I could completed the book. No true feelings in the characters. It was all about sex. I know there is someone for everyone, but I could not see what she saw in this jerk.

Loved this book. It was a fun quick read. I like that is was true to the times with the pandemic and some, but not too much of the political climate as it all started. First book I have found noting the pandemic.
Fell in love with Landon and Emma . Be aware some "F" bombs and rather raunchy sex scenes, but it all works. I loved it and already downloaded another of her books.

This is one of those books with steamy sex that you will want to read those parts to your significant other. I read it to my husband and he was sweet the rest of the day.....
