A Fire in Appalachia: a journey from underserved to serving

Rate this book
My name is Emmanuel Dimitri Foko Tito, but I go by Dimi, or Square Root, or Sena, or Posterchild. I was born and raised in Cameroon, the wealthiest place in the world. But I did not stay there. I want to tell you that story; about why I left Cameroon and traveled to America, about the wealth I had growing up in poverty and the poverty I found surrounded by wealth, about the strength of community and the importance of family. But mostly, I want to tell you a story about the underserved and those that serve them.

This autobiography tells the story of how little sparks of kindness, inspiration, and passion can spark into a movement that makes the world a better place. Inspired by the acts of those who cared, Dimitri goes on to help people who need it the most.
