Sparks will fly when a blast from the past threatens their future.
Just when they learned to work together, a femme fatale from Steve's past threatens to incinerate Nat's newfound trust in him.
Natalie For all I care, Veronica Carter could be a real-life superhero instead of playing one in the biggest movie franchise ever. If she thinks I'll let her come swooping down like the bird of prey she is to try and snatch Steve away from me, she's in for a huge surprise. If Steve is too nice to shoo her away, I am not. Just watch me!
Steve I will never do anything to break Natalie's trust. After all, it took me years to win it back. If only Veronica could take a hint! How do I make her understand that she's delusional without hurting her feelings? I've got to find a way out of this mess before Nat loses it. It doesn't take much to ignite her fury. Or her passion. I'd rather have her burning from our lovemaking than from rage.

Nat and Steve's love story continues in book three of the series and picks up where book two left off. You should definitely read the first two books first to fully understand Nat and Steve's journey. In this book Steve's ex Veronica wants him back but Steve doesn't want anything to do with her. I loved the way Nat handles Veronica. This is book ends in a cliffhanger and I can't wait to see how Nat and Steve's story ends and if they finally get their HEA. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
ARC was given to me by Author through Booksprout. My review is giving completely voluntarily.
I gave this book a 4 stars. I am going to rate this book as a whole, since I have only read 3 out of the 4 installments. (The last short story is to be releasing in November 2020.) This is the 3rd book in a 4 part installment story. They are short books, that end in cliffhangers, you have to read all of them in order to understand what is happening. This is my first book I read by Liz Gavin and I did enjoy them. Steve and Natalie were friends back in high school, and more then liked each other secretly. He was the shyer nerd type afraid, and she was popular cool girl outgoing. They always hung out together, bestfriends, they were 3 of them Bella was Natalie best friend too. Unfortunately senior promo happened- everything changed that night for them sequence of events like secrets, misunderstandings, misinterpretation, betrayal, broken hearts that would keep them apart for a few years. The next installments will take us through their rollercoaster of a relationship, until they met again, rebuilding trust , company's they've built, friendships they've kept,, rivalries in same industries, ex`s return to cause problems, their chemistry is undeniable, steamy HOT sex they just can't fight it.... They have both matured into strong alpha, fiesty beautiful, independent people that know what they want, and will fight for it. This is also a comedy romance. Some funny scenes thrown into the mix...LOL. I did enjoy the story as overall ( except of course the ending n/a yet) I'm just not a huge fan of installment storytelling. To me this would be great in just one awesome book. I recommend the story in it self. Reading Order: Year in Love - Steamy Short Stories 1. Easter Cookie ( currently as posted date free kindle) 2. Cookie Wars 3. Firecracker Cookie releases 6/23/20 4. Thankful Cookie – coming out in November
Natalie doesn't want to admit that when she is near Steve her reluctance to commit will not let her get to close and a lot has to do with his ex-Veronica turns out to be a serious and desperate female. And even though Natalie desires Steve just as much as she ever has her heart is telling her to be very careful even though Steve keeps saying he is only interested in her and as business partners, she is just not sure. His new ex-the V-word aka Veronica is working in the offices also. Veronica is doing everything she can to make sure Natalie thinks that she is still with Steve but she and Natalie both know the truth but she continues the charade. She and Steve the night together at her home that very night and then the next morning disaster hits and Natalie knows she doesn't want to stay with Steve because he lives in Thousand Oaks even though that is not the only reason but she does not live in his city he is in hers and she needs to be near the office and her home. But it seems she doesn't have a choice because Kate her BFF is staying in a hotel until her place is available again. She knows it will be a while before her parents are back. Adult content. Good Storyline and the characters are interesting. I purchased this book. I am providing an honest review.
What’s that old literary phrase about the path to true love not being smooth? Nat and Steve could be the embodiment of it. They’d finally started to make peace with the issues that tore them apart so long ago when an ex appears looking to stir up trouble. (I’m trying not to give anything away, but I adore how Nat handled it.) I think my favorite parts of this book were the sweet quiet moments when they were with friends and family or just with each other. It’s in those times that you can see how deep their feelings run. The not-totally-unexpected twist at the end means that I’m now a little desperate to get my hands on the next installment of their story. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
Steve and Natalie continue their story in this Book 3. Everything was coming together for them at last. Their competing businesses were hired to do an event together, and it was working out just fine. Then Veronica Carter, Steve’s irritating ex, enters the picture and tries to lure Steve back. Steve is trying to gently let her know he is not available in a way that her feelings won’t get hurt. Fortunately Nat has no such reservations about what is needed to rid the world, or at least Steve, of Veronica’s unwanted attentions. (You won’t want to miss this part!)
If you’ve fallen behind or have not started this series, it’s definitely worth reading! The story line is good and the characters keep getting better! Grab your copy and enjoy the fun!
This is book 3 in the A Year in Love series and this is the continuation of Natalie’s (Nat) and Steve’s story. Natalie is finally able to trust and rely on Steve but Veronica from Steve’s past tries to come back into his life and ruin things and even though Steve doesn’t want to hurt Veronica’s feelings Nat has no problem setting Veronica straight Nat is going to fight for her man. Chuckle worthy moments and sexy scenes that’s what you will get with this instalment there’s also a cliffhanger at the end and I can’t wait to read book 4 but you do need to read books 1 and 2 to understand these two characters I loved them and I highly recommend this book.
The saga of Natalie and Steve continues. Natalie and Steve have come a long ways from high school. I really disliked Veronica and how she kept trying to make trouble between Natalie and Steve. I was glad to see how Natalie handles Veronica. The book has many steamy scenes! I feel there is new trouble on the horizon for Natalie and Steve. I encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.
Let me start by saying you need to read the first two works in this series to understand what’s going on. This is a 4 book series featuring the same couple and it ends with a cliffy. I like what the author is doing with the seasonal releases. Love the H and h and seeing them deal with some more issues as their relationship grows.
This Is Steve and Natalies story and the chemistry is hot ! The relationship goes farther but Steve’s ex tries to get him back and goes to extreme measures to get him back . The ending has me on edge waiting for the next part of the story !
Steve and Natalie's story continues in this installment. It does end on another cliffhanger as the final book will be out later. Steve's ex comes back in the picture and it's a little drama from there. I love how Natalie takes charge and now I am anxiously awaiting the final book.
The story line was great, the character work was fantastic and the book had a smooth flow to it. This was a great addition to the series and the book kept me entertained from beginning to end.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
