Gotta say -there is a hot scene when they go to PR.
I loved this book and I desperately want to see more work from this author. I love the steaminess but I also loved that it was not overkill. It wasn’t a porno with a plot lol. I loved the story, the relatable contemporary culture, and most importantly the BLACKNESS. It is so hard finding black lesbian books. Especially ones you can LISTEN to. Thankfully I found out about the text to speech function on my iPhone! I listened to this book for about a week or two when I jogged. And it made hogging even more pleasurable. I couldn’t determine if I was more looking forward to jogging or the book!
Anyway, to the author of this book… ma’am, pat yourself on the back. You deserve accolades and you have to do more work. I expect each book to be better and better and I will be supporting you!
I won’t lie, I almost DNF’d this book in the first few pages because they beginning started off a hot mess. There’s no way I’d let my partner do me like that in front of people but she got what she deserved. This was funny and messy, and made me feel like I was watching a good Tubi movie LMAO
All I can say is never judge a book by it's cover. You will miss your blessings every time. This was a good short. It held my attention quite well. I want ready for it to end.
