A funny, sweet and crazy love story. A storm, a wedding to attend and an helicopter crashing in a deserted island. A good combination of two different people Paige, city girl, with Mac, divorced pilot. They will fight the attraction but will they resist it or will they fall in love?

Hot damn, I loved this book! I'll take a double serving of Mack Gamble again please. Great story as always and the perfect interlude to the series. What a gracious gift given by Melanie.

Summers wrote a cute short story for Paige and Mac. She seems to have a typical formula of rich meets poor with everything stacked against a couple, but I’ve enjoyed them all, including this one.

I feel like I won the lotto by getting an extra glimpse into my favorite fictional island!

This is a wonderful novella fully of laughter and romance, but it also has depth!

Please write more! I’d read a 2.55, 2.6, 2.65... you get the idea 😃

This is short and sweet. It’s a fun novella about Paige, who has many issues, the most pressing of which is that she has to get to her sister’s wedding immediately but missed her flight and needs a lift; and Mac, the helicopter pilot who decides to try to get her there. But there’s a terrible storm and they have a crash landing on a deserted island. These polar opposites are attracted to each other. She’s a high maintenance New Yorker, and he’s a go with the flow Caribbean pilot who avoids high maintenance. It could never work, right? How long can they hold off on the inevitable?

Since this is a novella it moves too quickly and leaves out a lot. But it’s fun to read. I don’t care if it’s unrealistic and cheesy. That’s part of the charm. I enjoyed reading it and give it 4⭐️ as far as romcom novellas go.
