Hunter, Hunter, Hunter. I feel in love with this character in his brother's book. If you have not read that book, you need to go back or you simply will not understand the King brothers.
Confronted by some ugly truths of her fiance, Taylor escapes the paradise of her home, to the dry and dusty town of Burrows, Texas. Giving up everything, Taylor rebuilds her life, and meets Hunter, the effervescent cowboy/man-whore. Their friendship is full of flirting and sarcasm, both of which are just simply a joy to read. Honestly, I read it very fast simply because I could not seem to put it down.
When Taylor's past comes back to haunt her, the story intensifies. I love the back and forth between Hunter and Taylor. I really love Taylor's mom. Taylor's story is dark and sad, but as always Bry Ann brings out an amazing tale using the darkest colors in her toolkit. I really love how some of my favorite characters from previous tales once again pop up to visit (Spoilers). So if you haven't read her previous works (and if so SHAME on YOU), go check out some of her other series too. Trust me, you'll appreciate things more.
The story kept me on edge. I laughed, smiled, yelled, cried and felt like a rung out rag at times. To me, that means a book was great. I need to know what else is going down in Burrows, Texas. I cannot wait for the next installment.

This is book two in the series and is just as thrilling and exciting as book one.
Hunter is a bit of a player but has heart of gold. Taylor arrived in town looking to start a new life away from her ex Mason.
Taylor and Hunter become best friends.
Her ex Mason is a trafficker, everything including women. Taylor found evidence but the police couldn't help so she decided to leave and start afresh.
Mason tracks her down with the help of Brandon. When things take a nasty turn she runs to her friends and Hunter for help.
Their girls are their top priority and be warned anyone who tries to harm them!
I love how the books seamlessly lead you in to a brief glimpse of the next one and I so can't wait for Jays story.
Bry Ann brings to life all of her characters,
I can't recommend this book highly enough.
So grab your cowboy boots and prepare to two step with some hot Texas brothers!

Bry Ann, you go girl!! You had me on the edge of my seat while falling even harder for the Shelby men. Now I need Jay and Kailee’s story, ASAP. Just saying lol
Welcome to Burrows, Texas. A cute, small town where everyone knows everyone and everything. It’s also the best place to run and hide, or so Taylor thought. After a few days working for Lady M, Taylor meets a sexy cowboy but after everything she has been through and going through she just won’t go there. Last thing she expected was the fast friendship that formed with him and for him to be her knight when she needs it the most.

Wow!! Angst, danger, betrayal, loyalty, and a man who hides who he really is behind humor.
Hunter is a man who loves his job and his family. He is dangerous, loyal to his family and friends, but has his own issues that he hides from most people. He works in the family business and has a routine that would surprise most people that know him. He is a man-whore but when he meets Taylor and gets to know her, he finds that he has too much respect for her to just try to get her into bed.
Taylor is running from her fiancé after she discovers that he is not who he appeared to be. After three years of being together Taylor discovers a deadly secret about her fiancé and runs to the mainland from Hawaii. She finds that she has some hurdles to overcome before she can start her life in Burrows, Texas. It’s a small town where everyone knows everyone, and strangers stick out. Lady M decides to take a chance on Taylor and her life is good for a while.
When danger finds Taylor again, she runs to the only person in Burrows that she knows she can rely on. Hunter and his brothers and brother in-law come to Taylor’s rescue. Hunter and Taylor are both scarred, and it will take some time before they find their way to each other for more than friendship.
This story made me laugh, cry, and hold my breath. Hunter is a man that could make me look twice, he’s funny, caring, loyal, and frightened. He hides his fear and anxiety well though. He is fierce in his loyalty when it comes to those he cares about and loves. He is an awesome character as is Taylor. Taylor is regal, smart, dignified, and caring. She loves fiercely and she is not judgmental. She takes Hunter as he is, and their friendship brings them to a closer relationship. I give this story a 5-star review and highly suggest that you read this story. Bry Ann is an awesome writer and she draws me into her stories so easily. I will warn you that these stories can be a little dark at times.

Sexy, sweet Hunter!
This is a fast paced, super sweet but emotional story. From beginning to end Hunter captured my heart and never let it go. He’s sexy, fierce, super sweet but guards his heart from falling in love. He’s been hurt too many times and doesn’t want to let anyone get too close. Taylor is a very strong woman who is running from a very dangerous past. When Taylor and Hunter meet there is an instant connection and attraction between them. They become the best of friends and would do anything to protect each other from harm.
Their story is raw and emotional. Hunter and Taylor are both very loving and protective individuals and I fell in love with both of them. Their story made me laugh, cry and ooze with love. It was captivating and very entertaining to read. I can’t wait to read about the next Shelby man.

I have been waiting way too long to read this book!!
Hunter is one of the Shelby brothers and you will discover a new side of him. Bry as a way to turn every alpha male into the sweetest guy!
Taylor is strong. That is one thing I love about Bry’s book, she is making her female characters strong even though they went through many things and need help.
I have read this book in one seating. I love the relationship between Hunter and Taylor, how he was always there to protect her, to be a friend ............!!!!!
I can’t wait for the next Shelby’s brother story because that ending was hard to read haha

Loved this book and getting to see everyone from the previous book. Even though Hunter Shelby is considered a man-whore, he is sweet and kind, especially when he meets Taylor. Moving from Hawaii trying to hide and escape her fiance, Taylor lands in Burrows, Texas, a small town, where everybody knows everybody. Hunter and his brothers are all good-looking, friendly and gentle cowboys, but tough when they need to be. The book captured me from the prologue. Every element you could want is in this book. Danger follows Taylor to Burrows, which leads to suspense, and much more. I highly recommend you read this book and Book 1 of the Texas Country Criminals to get to know all the Shelby brothers.

Awww I LOVED Hunter, even more than I thought I would. Hunter the charming, funny ladies man is also a big softy. Taylor is such a strong woman, she's smart, funny, quirky and independent. These two make the perfect bffs, until bffs turn into more. These two heal each other in a way no one else could. And with their pasts, they both need someone like that

Well, yet another amazing read from Bry.... What can I say? I needed this amazing story so much. In this crazy time, Hunter was all I wanted... I cried, yet I laughed so much and it was awesome.

A wonderful story of friends finding love in each other. This story was a fun read because it has that emotional connection between the reader and the characters. Hunter is a great character and one that any reader will fall in love with and Taylor is just as amazing. I loved most about this story is that connection between Hunter and Taylor. They are so amazing together and Hunter, he loves and protects Taylor in the most swoon worthy ways. As a friends to lovers story, this hits all the fun notes. These two are so great together, they lift each other up and stand up to each other when needed, but in the long run it is all for one and one for all. There is action, passion and humor and I recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic story. I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.

Taylor and Hunter start off as best friends. But let’s be honest, they are meant to be together. They both have heartbreaking past that only each other can heal. When Taylor’s past comes back, Hunter will do everything in his power to protect the girl he loves. It’s a cute story but it has it’s dark moments. I loved Hunter. Bry Ann did a fantastic job with this one! I can’t wait for Jays book! I think he’s going to be my favorite!

Hunter and Taylor are friends. What happens when they both realise that they don’t want to be just friends anymore? Can they overcome previous hurts and move on with each other or will everything end? Loved this story. It was sweet and romantic. Can’t wait from more from this series!!
