This book was so much fun and enjoyable to read. I read the last six chapters all at once...….I couldn't wait. I saw I had only a few pages left and I still couldn't figure it out! In retrospect, very creepy to wonder with Lauren, how often could this really happen?

Keeps you guessing right up until the last word! This is very different from Lori's other works. You are sucked in from the very beginning and at the end left with your mouth open. Her best novel yet!

" When will I Kill" by Lori Krause
Not only is Lori a great author, she is a good friend. From beginning to end she captured my imagination and gave moments to me that I was able to sympathize with the main character but also drew me to a place that helped me identify with her character as well. This book is about a lost teen that begins to desire killing the perfect victim just once, but begins to encounter feelings that have her questioning if this is something she can actually follow through with. This book was elequently written and, captures you immediately! What a great read..I can't wait for more♥️

"She wanted to tame me and add color to my world, and I wanted nothing more than to kill her."

Meet Calissa, a normal twenty-something-year-old who enjoys a cold beer, hot sex, and quietly fantasizes about killing her new friend. Wait... what?

This book has a very American Psycho vibe, which I did enjoy.

There are a few errors in editing, and some overuse of certain nouns and adjectives ("blood" showed up roughly 160 times in this 150-page novella), and I did feel like Krause was a little TOO specific in narrating humdrum activities. For example, "I made a beeline straight home, pulled my jeans off, got a drink of water, and got into bed. I tossed and turned a while before I fell asleep." 😴

Overall, it had a good story premise, and I read the whole thing in one sitting. But not wowed.
