Her only hope for redemption lays in a land so wild and merciless only alphas dare call it home.
No woman willingly travels to the Boundarylands.
It’s where they are—the Alphas.
They keep to themselves in the wilderness, and beta civilization knows to keep its distance. Especially beta women…for fear they may not be a beta after all.
The only way to know your true nature is to feel the touch of an Alpha. Omegas may be rare, but every woman knows their fates are hellish—held captive, broken, mated, knotted, and bred.
After killing in self-defense, Darcy is on the run for both her freedom and her life, hunted by corrupt cops, she hides in the only place every beta fears—the Boundarylands. But her gambit misfires when Darcy discovers the land she’s hiding on belongs to an Alpha whose feral nature calls to her in ways she doesn’t understand.
Zeke is the sixth book in The Boundaryland Omegaverse, a hot new ABO romance series featuring knotting, heats, and possession. Wear gloves, cause this sh*t is hot.
Ever since she was little, Callie Rhodes' imagination has been landing her in trouble. From daydreaming about far off worlds in class, to escaping into the made up stories of her mind in the meeting room, she's been creating tales to take her away from the real world for as long as she can remember. Now she lives among the tall trees of Northern California, and has found a way to make a living off her fantasies.
Zeke's story was def different. Unlike the other alpha's he was not at all interested in an omega. Doing everything in his power to keep as much distance as possible. But our dear omega was def not a timid small woman who was just gonna dit back! Oh no! She turned out to be absolutely perfect, and I ended up loving this book, even though I felt it was slightly slow in the start. :)
I liked seeing an alpha who had been burned in the past steer clear of omegas as if they were the plague. Poor Zeke was such a good sweet man, I'm glad he found Darcy in the end. They both deserved HEAs.
I think that this is the best book so far. Zeke and Darcy were attracted to each other but due to his past Zeke kept his distance. Darcy was attracted ro him before she even knew she was an Omega.
This story actually told a story about the alpha males that I coul really appreciate. Darcy was a breath of fresh air from the last Omega. I appreciated the build up to them touching each other and finally coming together.
Heat level was 🔥🔥🔥1/2. Great story and I can't wait to read the next book.
I think this is my favorite book in the series so far. Zeke and Darcy's story was interesting and different. I actually really liked Zeke, especially towards the end.
I have to admit I was getting a little bored with this series, but this one was, hands down, the best of the series so far. Zeke is tortured and trying his best to avoid Darcy at all costs, but he also can't help wanting to protect her. I love how their relationship bloomed. It wasn't the typical Alpha/Omega Insta love but when it happened boy was it hot. Darcy is my favorite omega in this series. She's funny, smart, and such a refreshing character. Hoping for more books like this in the future.
Another Boundarylands omegaverse romance, which means another FMC in distress who stumbles upon an alpha and discovers she’s an omega!
It’s a bit different to the others in the series, because Darcy doesn’t immediately ‘awaken’ as an omega, and Zeke doesn’t want her to because of prior experiences. But I liked how that meant she settled into their life before the heat and claiming? It also was weirdly low angst and high stakes at the same time.
This as better than the other two. Darcy is on the run from 2 corrupt cops after killing their brother, another dirty cop in self defense. She runs to the boundary land to escape the beta cops in alpha territory where she meets Zeke, who has a special gift of feeling when a “beta” woman is really an unchanged omega. He’s been with an omega who hurt him so he doesn’t want to get near or touch her but he does help her.
-They fight the bond that keeps pulling them together. For weeks never touching or even seeing each other but in The end it doesn’t matter. When she needs him, he shows up and risks his biggest fear for her. ❤️ I wish it had happened sooner honestly bc I really liked this couple. -Darcy the h was strong and smart but really sweet. She’s wasn’t such a baddy she didn’t want an alpha. She was considerate and caring and very selfless. -Zeke was damaged from his past omega. And basically was living in fear of being heartbroken again. -Was written well, we see some of the other older characters which is nice. Each story is a standalone with its own drama but it’s nice to see peeks of the other characters. -No epilogue -knotting is a theme in this series which I forgot to mention before this book I think actually speaks of the knotting more than any of the other ones I read. -wish it was longer -drama was a quick little thing and honestly was a blimp in the story lol -wish we got more of them together they don’t finally become alpha and omega until really close to the end.
Short stories but with enough story telling to make them feel complete/whole. This is one of my favs. Just really liked the dynamic between the two and I was also glad the author FINALLY addressed the fact that an omega still had choice. You aren't necessarily tied to the first guy that "awakens" you. I feel like there is a very dark and twisty book screaming to be made because of that but I don't think this series will produce, shedding just a bit of a tear. I keep this series as a filler. My in-between when I am trying to find a more meaty read or when I need to piece my heart back together. If you are reading this series straight through, cool. If you are jumping around, this is a good one to land on!
Zeke and Darcy's story is a bit different. Darcy is running from the police for killing a fellow officer. When Zeke happens upon a scared beta women and two beta cops he helps her out grudgingly. He doesn't want an omega because of something in his past so he tells her not to touch him for any reason . What happens next makes for a great story. I think that maybe Zeke is my favorite so far.
Not my favorite of the series so far but still an entertaining story. I liked Zeke and Darcy's dynamic, I thought they balanced each other well. It was a pretty mild story compared to some of the earlier books. Looking forward to Aric's story, even though it seemed like this book was setting up for Cade to be next.
PERSONALLY I DIDN'T FEEL THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE TWO FROM THE BEGINNING. ZEKE'S STORY WAS QUITE MELLOW COMPARED TO SOME OF MY FAVOURITE CHARACTERS OF THIS SERIES.
3.75 Stars I really liked this book. It was a bit different than the other installments and kind of broke the traditional format that the stories have gone in. Instead of the main female character being so against them getting together, it was actually the male character that was preventing everything from happening. I liked the switch and I thought it added something different to the story that we hadn’t seen before
One thing you can always guarantee is that you'll always get a HEA from these stories 😊. Always some great excitement, interesting situations and yummy alphas 😋. Thanks again Called, I'll keep reading as long as you keep writing 😉.
🪢Novella (~150 pages) 🪢Omegaverse 🪢Grumpy Alpha 🪢FMC on the Run 🪢Alpha who doesn’t want an Omega 🪢Forced Proximity 🪢Knotting
I am not too familiar with the omegaverse but I enjoy stories with alphas and omegas. This book followed Zeke, a grumpy alpha who is a reluctant rescuer/hero. He is an alpha who doesn’t want an omega because he had once awakened an omega only to be callously rejected and devastated. Therefore, he refuses to go through the pain of finding, having and losing an other omega. Darcy is on the run from the beta world after killing in self-defense, she hopes she can find her escape in the Boundarylands, where she ends up on Zeke’s property. Their pull is so strong, but Zeke resists due to his past and Darcy is scared of losing herself. I enjoyed the forced proximity and tension. These 2 really were perfect for each other and I liked how their story played out. I would have loved a little more of them after they give in.
This being in a series, there were mentions of other couples and future MCs but it didn’t impact this story. I believe these can be read as standalones, which is what I have done. But I can see myself checking out the other books as this was a fast paced story.
—‘But it wasn't until she'd given him her blessing to sacrifice her life—just so he didn't have to face his greatest fear—that he knew he'd do anything to save her.’
Darcy is in trouble, and her only hope is to get into the Boundarylands and out of Beta controlled lands. There she runs into Zeke, an Alpha who is willing to help... providing she doesn’t come near him. Zeke knows an omega when he smells one, and he is certain Darcy is just that. But he’s not willing to risk everything he has built for an omega mate...
Book six in the series, brings us to ZEKE. We last met him as the pool player Troy was playing against in the previous book (one of the reasons you should read in order even though each book is completely stand alone), and he’s been badly burnt in the past. Darcy brings a lot of trouble with her, she’s always picked the wrong man, and that decision cost her everything. Zeke needs to learn to trust, Darcy needs to learn some wisdom... and they’re both learning throughout the book.
It’s an enjoyable series, sexy and quick to read. Paranormal romance fans, especially those who enjoy the alpha-omega dynamic, will probably enjoy this... just remember to suspend your belief before diving in!
We’re back to the similar storyline of woman fleeing danger into the boundary lands and falling into an Alphas territory. Though this one deviated in that Zeke knew that Darcy was an omega and tried to avoid touching her to keep her beta nature intact.
I’d say this is a good read I liked Darcy’s characterization a lot and it helped that Zeke though pushy and overbearing wasn’t just completely pigheaded like some of the previous male leads.
This book sits in a strong top three position for me I think. And I’m SO jazzed that we’ve got some backstory for the (I’m assuming) next female main lead. I do think it does a lot to give you a connection to previous books and gives you a stronger tie to the next main character.
Honestly I’m just in love with this whole series! I was so excited to see there are even more books coming up! I know authors usually don’t take series passed about 10 books but oh my God I hope Callie creates at least a dozen more. I mean it’s just so easy because there are alphas all over the damn place. And also, there are different boundary lands in different areas so she can venture into different territories. Love, love these books!
I really enjoyed Zeke. He found his match that's for sure. The storyline for this one is great. I like how he actually knows if a woman is an omega or not. He's also bound a determined to make sure he never bonds. Darcy wants him the whole time and when she finds out she's an omega she doesn't really fight against it. The women are completely against being Omega's in all the books except this one and the men want the women. This is exactly the opposite. I loved it.
I quite enjoyed reading Zake's book. I liked how it was such a slow burner until the inevitable came to happen, no matter how much they struggled with it.
I loved learning more about Zeke and his past, especially how it affected his relationship towards Darcy. And Darcy? Well she's got such spunk and life in her, she doesn't take anything laying down and has no problem speaking up her mind. I loved her.
I loved that Zeke tried to stay away from Darcy, even though he could hear whatever she did. Zeke built a cabin/shed near the edge of his property. Zeke tried to save Darcy without touching her. Zeke knew what it would mean if he was to touch Darcy - to bring out her Omega, then she would leave. I loved that Darcy was so strong and knew what she wanted. Thank you Ms. Rhodes for another great story. Can't wait to read the next one.
On episode 6 of dystopian werewolf trash tv book series! Zeke has deep emotional pain and distances himself from the new omega aka Darcy! Darcy after killing a cop and running away is seeking refuge little did she know she was getting a grumpy Alpha! I really like this one because they didn’t have sex right away and then fight! They fought and then had sex which was a nice difference lol! Good stuff
Darcy is running from corrupt cops after killing one in self defense. Zeke is trying his best to stay away from her while helping her at the same time. He seems to have the very rare ability to tell an omega before she turns. Three weeks of trying to avoid her on his property passes, but when she is in danger and willingly sacrifices herself so he can avoid turning her, the tables turn.
Man Callie nailed it again. These books have been a favorite of mine since I stumbled upon the first one a few months ago. I can't wait for each book to be released and I immediately grab them the day they're released. I wish I could buy them in paperback to have on my shelf.
I love this series! I also recommend reading them in order. Darcy crosses the border into the Boundarylands running from corrupt cops. Zeke comes to her rescue, but he refuses to touch her. He has a painful last and doesnt want an omega. This has a happy ending!!
Started with Book 1 of the series and before I knew it I was enjoying the last page of Book 6 and awaiting the next one to be released. Callie Rhodes had me from the 1st page to the last never got bored which I tend to do with a series and rarely make it thru especially not in 1 night
