As a fellow teacher, I loved reading a novel which followed the ups and downs of a newly qualified teacher in their first year of full-time teaching in a London school. I found myself nodding in agreement, shaking my head, laughing at stories familiar to my own and falling in love with the characters. An easy read and one which was thoroughly enjoyable.
