Motivational book to help you become the best person you can become.
I have read many self help books over the years from a lot of different people and what I liked about this one is it's ability to motivate me to make a list of changes I want to make in my life and I am able to follow through with them. This book is sports minded which I liked because I am on a lifestyle changing journey of healthy eating and exercising and feeling so much better. Very helpful in motivating me.

I am glad I didn't stop reading at the end of the first third of the book. He takes that amount of text to take us through his knee replacement surgery, his audition to be on a TV show (Strong), and his experiences growing up in the Durkin family. (He later recounts his torn labrum as a result of being on the show and being in a comeback challenge.) Part of Durkin's instruction style is to learn by example, hence the lengthy stories, I think. I really had no interest in reading about those experiences, however.

The last two thirds of the book is what I was looking for. He gets to his ten principles with suggestions and strategies. I like his suggestions for morning and evening routine. He also gives ideas for exercise routines, eating right, the importance of recovery (including many techniques and devices), and the importance of a spiritual relationship with Jesus.

This is a good book for readers who would like to learn a great deal about Durkin and the influence he has had on the elite athletes he works with (he drops quite a few big names). And I should have counted the number of times Durkin mentions his sponsor, Under Armour. He highly recommends their sleeping products, for example. I didn't find any new strategies or insights here not found in other books on achieving peak performance. People who watched the reality show Strong might appreciate Durkin's long descriptions of his experiences on it.

This book is raw, vulnerable, and will dig deep into finding your being.
From start to finish, you felt 'fired up', and it was a hard book to put down. Todd brings us through a journey of his life; his ups and downs and how he mastered mindset through each challenge. He teaches us how to embrace our own journey with effective measures to keep our vision clear, our bodies strong, our souls on the right path, and the junk from between the ears. This read is a powerhouse for everyone alike as a reminder that they have the capability within them to dig deep, believe in themselves, and live a life worth telling a story about!
This is an absolute must read.

This book is amazing and transformational! Todd leaves no stone unturned as he lays out the game plan for how to get into position to become the best version of yourself. The mental game is HUGE, and if you can "Get Your Mind Right" that is powerful beyond measure. There are numerous stories that drive home Todd's points about how mastering the mental game and all it encompasses will propel you to the success you want. No matter what your chosen field or profession, this book is a must read if you want to get better. A special thank you to Baker Books for an advance reader copy to read before it was actually released.

Really enjoyed all aspects of this book. GYMR is a well rounded book filled with stories, advice, motivational quotes, and everything in between. This book is to help better yourself in all aspects of your life which is different than most similar books I have read. Todd speaks about the importance of being fit not only physically, but mentally and spiritually as well. I highly recommend this book for someone who wants that boost to get them going. I also would recommend to watch his videos or listen to his podcasts first, he has a fire in his soul and I think being familiar with him first only made me enjoy this book more. Get your mind right!!!

I first saw Todd Durkin on the TV series Strong, and I was captivated by how positive and inspiring he was! He brought so much energy and definitely hyped me up. And reading this book was no different! A lot of good ideas and pointers for living a positive, happy, and productive life. While I am not a huge fan of religious subject matter, I felt that Todd had a good balance of portraying how important his faith is while not going on about it too much. And he finished the book in a great way, a riveting and powerful last chapter!

GYMR is the perfect book in this crazy world situation we are in Right now or at anytime
In life. We all need to snap the band and refocus on what’s important and TD does a great job giving us ways to do that. What a blessing this book has been.

If you asked me why I asked for a review copy of Get Your Mind Right: 10 Keys to Unlock Your Potential and Ignite Your Success by Todd Durkin (Baker Books, 2020), I don’t think I would be able to tell you. I’m mostly retired so I’m not really needing to read a lot about leadership to jumpstart or further a career. The cover wasn’t really anything that I found overly exciting, I’m not familiar with the author, and I’m not a football fan so the fact that a football player wrote the forward wasn’t a compelling reason. But I kept going back to the signup page, and finally said yes.
And I’m glad I did. (Although if I had realized that Durkin was a football player, I may not have bothered.) This is more than just another leadership book, although there are certainly a lot of would-be leaders who could benefit from it. This book is full of helpful advice for people wanting to live a healthy and fulfilling life. Reminders about slowing down, eating healthy, exercise, contact with God, and the need for healthy relationships come through on every page.
Durkin is the owner of a successful business and he tells the story of how that came about to clarify things and to get his point across throughout the book. There were times when things seemed to fall into place, (sometimes despite his best efforts) and other times when getting to where he needed to be was a real struggle. But along the way he learned patience, and to wait on a timing that was better than anything he could have imagined.
I’ve read other books by athletes and frequently was unimpressed. There was too much bragging about their exploits—on and off the playing field. Or a lot of whining about all the bad breaks they got that kept them from the championship title. I didn’t find any of that in this book: setbacks were seen as opportunities to learn, and success is another reason to be grateful.
So go ahead, get this book, read it, study it, and learn to ‘get your mind right’. You’ll be glad you did.

There is a saying in the west “Don’t throw out the baby with the bath water”. From my perspective as a reviewer, Todd Durkin’s Book Get Your Mind Right, has a “baby” which needs to be preserved and “bath water” which needs to be tossed out. The baby is a collection of his best principles for managing one’s life. He has many of the big themes right and offers tangible wisdom for people seeking to maximize their lives. The “bathwater” has two properties, which I believe detract from the book. The first is his writing style and slang language. There is no question as you read the book that this a coach who is used to providing pep talks to his athletes, saying things like: “big hairy audacious goals”; “I’m jacked up”; “10 keys to smack fear in its face”; “tools necessary to catapult your mind, body, and spirit into a new stratosphere”; “I liked Bernie and what he stood for, but man, was he a beast”. The second issue is his penchant for extraordinarily detailed plans that structure every moment of his day. Everyone will not thrive by structuring their life moment by moment to the ninth degree that he describes. For some people that is stifling not freeing. He speaks of the annual “Roadmap and strategic plan, The 90 day wonder, the 10 forms of wealth, three in thirty, WLAGS, and big five for the day “ (Todd Durkin. Get Your Mind Right. WOW, what an INCREDIBLE book! I have been learning from Todd Durkin since 2008, and I have all of his videos and his books. This book is HIS BEST BOOK WRITTEN! It doesn't matter how young or old you are, whether you are an athlete in sports or just trying to push yourself to a new level of live, or maybe you're at an all time low in your life...all that matters is this book will help you get to where you want to go! I didn't have a life plan when I met Todd, and I had no idea that I was born to serve a purpose in this life until I sat down and did some exercises with him several years ago. No matter how many times you see him in person, listen to his podcasts, watch his videos, or just read his books, you simply can't ever get enough of TODD DURKIN! His energy, his wisdom, his positive spirit, his faith, his life's lessons, his passion, his experience, and his personality....simply infectious and contagious!!! Contagious enthusiasm "CONTAGIASM" provides me the drive and determination to keep pushing forward to the next level of greatness in serving my purpose with God! Todd taught me this...I've never been so confident and fearless in my pursuit to greatness and this book continues to remind me that I'm on the right track and I'm doing the right things to be the BEST VERSION OF ME I CAN BE! Thank you so much Todd for sharing your life, your stories, your family, your clients, your friends, your wins, your failures, and your knowledge! My life it exactly where I'm supposed to be because of the guidance you have provided me all of these years! To now have much of it summarized in this AMAZING book is simply invaluable! This is a great book to gift to others for birthdays, graduations, Friendsgiving, team events, acts of kindness, or just because! Todd Durkin has been a role model to me for a while now and not just as a fellow trainer but as a genuine human being. He is so true to himself and to his words. He leads by example and his energy is contagious. This book could not have been published at a more perfect time with the current pandemic in our world. I felt like he was talking directly to me the entire time and it was everything I needed and more. I recommend this book to anyone regardless of what your profession may be. Todd walks you through his life, his ups and downs, his successes, setbacks and everything in between. He constantly gives advice on how to Get Your Mind Right no matter what the day brings. He lives a life worth telling a story about and he uses his words to shine like a mirror into your life to help you become the best possible version of yourself.

This book was hard to put down and it constantly had me reflecting on my own life. I've carried out a lot of his advice over the course of reading this and I've noticed a dramatic difference in how I live my life day to day. I never thought all it took was for me to read words on a page to have the confidence, motivation and resilience to attack the day! The best in the business chose to make a positive impact in the world by teaching us how crucial mindset really is. Todd's words speak volumes as to who he is as a coach, mentor, trainer, husband, father and overall human being. Get Your Mind Right is raw, authentic, positive, motivating, vulnerable and full of everything Todd Durkin! Invest in not only yourself but your future by purchasing this book. You won't be disappointed.

Todd Durkin is an energetic and knowledgeable storyteller who shares his life hacks and lessons from over 20 years in the fitness and sports Industry. He condenses a lot of valuable information on health and fitness into easy to digest bits and pieces. More than that, the book includes ideas and tangible steps that will up your game in all areas of life.
Durkin spends a lot of time giving the reader very useful and practical steps for improving physical health but, the book is really about “Getting Your Mind Right”. He gives specific and easy to follow examples of what works for him and his clients in the areas of goal setting, best practices, diet, nutrition, supplements, specific workout routines, developing habits, and so much more. He is unabashedly a Christian man and talks about his faith and the importance of spirituality. This is such an important part of who he is and how he gets his mind right it would have been neglectful for him to leave it out. He believes you need to develop all three areas, physical, mental and spiritual to be the best version of you, you can be.
I would recommend this book to anyone trying to get out of rut or up their game in any area of life. I would highly recommend this book to anyone just starting or trying to improve their health and fitness program.
I have been a Fitness Instructor for over 20 years and I found the book to be inspirational, thought provoking, and informative. Well worth the time it took to read it.

I have known Todd since middle school he has always been a fireball and an inspiration to me. We are both from Brick NJ we went to different high schools but probably knew alot of the same people. This past year I went to my 30 year class reunion(mind you I didn't go to any before because I could have cared less ) so I went I had a great time I reconnected with people I had no .idea would have an "impact " in my life today. Todd is a coach an inspirational speaker a fireball . He has inspired me to be the same I want to change the world be the best I can be for my peeps..no matter what I get up and try to inspire others. Back to my high school reunion I reconnected with someone who went to both high schools and went to middle school with us and I recently asked him(Sean Farley) if he remembered Todd Durkin....he smiled and said wow yes I do and told me some crazy story about when they were in ice hockey together
..oh I know how the conversation started we were talking about the roller rink!! Good times!! My son started basketball last year at vets middle school where Todd and I went
and he is at the top of the leader board and has never left there through all his trials and tribulations he has always remained positive and pushed forward. His books are awesome..he is awesome..this book is a game changer I highly recommend it ...especially in these crazy days...Toni Lyon Baxter💙 great book Todd Durkin you Rock

First Quarter: Game Plan and Kickoff
This section is about getting your thoughts in line: dream big, get your thoughts under control, and don’t let the obstacles get you down. This is one of the fat sections, taking up a good 50 pages. Todd tells the story about his time on NBC’s Strong, and how he dealt with some of the setbacks and challenges on that show. He also shares about his upbringing and the truth that no matter what you have or don’t have, you’re going to have challenges thrown in your path, and you’ve got to have the mindset to overcome. You’re only as strong as your own mindset thinks you are–so you have to plan in advance. That plan includes giving back to your community and giving to others, and Todd makes that clear too. How could he not? He’s given so much back to all of the communities that have helped to raise him up.

Second Quarter: Execution of Key Plays
Twenty pages is pretty short for a section in this book. But how many ways can you say “control your habits or they will control you?” Okay, so maybe Todd doesn’t say that, exactly, but once you have your mindset it is your habits that control you–how you spend your time, energy, and focus matter. There are definitely books that hammer this point home in a more solid way, such as Charles Duhigg’s The Power of Habit. Todd gets the point across though: if you want the freedom to succeed, you’ve got to discipline yourself, and that means committing to habits.

Now you have to bear in mind that Todd is specifically laying out what has worked for him. So, for example, he’s big on getting up before the sun, because it works for him–he’s got a family and a business to run, so the early am is when he gets his “me time.” There’s nothing magic (in general) about that hour, it’s just what works for Todd. If you don’t have a spouse and kids, or you do shift work, your own magic hours might be another time slot for you. Todd lays out his morning routine and his evening routine, and while they work for him again, YOUR mileage may vary. For example, one of Todd’s points is “no caffeine after 2:00 p.m.” While he vaguely refers to a study about consuming caffeine close to bed-time, he doesn’t even tip a hat to some very important known science about caffeine: we know there are genes that code for caffeine metabolism! I have had a genetic test so I know I’m a fast metabolizer (I can have a triple mocha and then take a nap without any issues), and afternoon caffeine isn’t a big deal for me. I mean, I’m usually going decaff for after-dinner-coffee, but a 4 p.m. latte isn’t going to do jack to my sleep.

Third Quarter: Performing Optimally
I’m going to be honest with you: this section is the worst part of the book. When I say that, I mean that Todd is not in his lane here–but if you’ve been paying attention, you know I feel very strongly that the vast majority of the fitness industry (certified personal trainers, yoga instructors, group fitness instructors, barre teachers, strength and conditioning coaches) needs to NEVER give out nutritional advice. Why? Most of it is absolute rot.

When Todd recommends breaking a sweat most days during the week, that’s pretty non-controversial, establish best-practice that is evidence-based. Like there’s actual science to support it. Added bonus, there isn’t any harm in following this advice.

Hydration, also relatively non-controversial, though Todd’s endorsement of “Himalayan salt” really should have been an endorsement of a full spectrum electrolyte (and I’d prefer that accompanied by an quickie explanation of how electrolytes work to regulate hydration, and how it is possible to drink water when dehydrated and STAY dehydrated if your electrolytes are out of whack).

Then Todd goes off the rails and states definitively that you should “consider going gluten-free to get rid of brain fog and bloating,” as though these are universal problems for all people. News flash: they’re not, and the evidence does NOT support going gluten-free for the vast majority of people. (If you have Celiac Disease, of course you must stop eating gluten. But most of us do not.) This section basically regurgitates pop-diet-advice about “gluten sensitivity” that is not established as fact. Personally, I really wish fitness professionals would let the RDs and PhDs in nutrition science give evidence-based recommendations.

Similarly, his recommendation that everyone, regardless of their current health status and without any evidence to support it, take supplements is basically garbage. His first two recommendations have to do with specific amino acids. The science is far from consensus on amino acids, with some evidence showing that taking branched-chain amino acids leads to less serotonin in the brain, as the BCAAs limit uptake of tryptophan (which is a serotonin precursor). There are also a number of studies that show taking BCAAs actually REDUCES muscle protein synthesis. Todd recommend fish oil for omega-3 fatty acids, MCT oil, and a multivitamin–all of these are popular magazine and blogger recommendations without a hard basis in fact. Todd cites no evidence for these suggestions (other than that they work for him), and he doesn’t talk about the alternatives either. So long story short, do your homework on supplements. Don’t rely on Todd, or any other fitpro. Instead, look to the peer-reviewed research (try a PubMed search) and consult an evidence-based registered dietitian.

Fourth Quarter: Finishing Strong
Like any good motivational volume, this one ends with inspiration. The two chapters in this section are “tap into the whispers” and “live a live worth telling a story about.” Great advice even without the content. Now I knew this book was being published by Baker Books, which is a Christian book publisher. If you are a Christian, you’re probably thrilled that a famous fitness professional is openly writing to witness for Jesus. I’m cool with that too, even though I’m not a Christian. Who can argue with allowing your faith to play a role in your life? I mean really, if a god/goddess/higher power (by whatever name) plays a role in your life, why shouldn’t you pay attention to what s/he (or they, or it) have to tell you? Personally, I celebrate that. If you’re not Christian, I don’t think you’ll find the book “too much” (unless you happen to offend easily, in which case I don’t know how you get on in the US these days). You can just sub your personal beliefs for Todd’s as you read along.

All I have to say is Amazing book! If you don't understand how to set yourself up for success on a daily basis with the understanding of getting your mind right, then you must re-read it till it sticks! This book is filled with personal stories of growth and grace! The 10 Key points that Todd makes in this book were outstanding. Since reading this book I have truly seen a difference in my attitude in my day to day life. I have a plan for success everyday. Todd knows as well as many that not all days are going to be Wins... we will all have those days where we just have to chalk it up to a loss, but learning how to move on from that is what he teaches so well in this book! Getting to be a part of Todd's get your mind right launch team and with the ability to pre-read this book given to me by Baker's Books was such a great opportunity that I could not pass up! I will be ordering this book for many clients and colleagues, friends, family anyone who I believe could benefit from a book like this. This is not your typical exercise enthusiast type book. This book is for anyone and EVERYONE! I would highly recommend that you read this book with a note book and a pen or a highlighter so you can write down all the little GOLDEN NUGGETS that Todd writes for you in this book! My personal favorite was learning how to Tap into my Whispers. I've always wanted to grow in this aspect of my life, and I believe that this particular chapter IMPACTED me the most. So thank you Todd for digging down deep and being able to write a book like this to help us all learn how to finally GET OUR MINDS RIGHT! AMAZING JOB!!

Get Your Mind Right is part memoir, part motivation, part consultation with a personal trainer/coach (at least, as much as can fit in a book). Todd Durkin is enthusiastic about his passion and his passion is getting you to change the mindsets that have been holding you back.

The first chapter is prefaced by a quote from Rocky which you quickly realize is something of a mentor for Mr. Durkin. Like Rocky, he keeps going after what he wants until he either gets it or realizes it was not meant for him and he encourages you to do the same. 

What I liked about this self-help book is that while it may be tailored for those who are not Christian, there's a lot of faith work involved in the process of getting your mind right and the author is not afraid to talk about it.

There were some parts of Get Your Mind Right that seemed inaccessible for the average reader. For example, in chapter 8 while talking about recovery, Mr. Durkin recommends a number of things from blackout shades to cryotherapy, to flotation therapy and stem cell replacement. Some of these items have a price point that may make it inaccessible to many people (my opinion).

Still, there was some good, solid advice that anyone can use to improve the quality of their lives. I received an advanced reader's copy from the publishers through the Baker Books Bloggers program; a positive review was not required.

I have been waiting for this book to come out and was lucky enough to get an advanced copy from the publisher, Baker Books. Unlike the other books Todd has written, Get Your Mind Right: 10 Keys to Unlock Your Potential and Ignite Your Success takes a broader approach to what Get Your Mind Right means and how to incorporate the practice into all aspects of your life. The book shares insightful information about the important roll exercise and nutrition plays in getting and keeping "your mind right" but primarily focuses on the importance of mindset, listening to yourself and maintaining clear and focused intentions. The stories shared in Get Your Mind Right are another reason this book will draw you in. Some of the stories and experiences are those of Todd, some are of clients, family and friends. They are all relatable in one way or another. That's what and why this book resonated with me. If you're looking to strike a fire beneath your feet, this is a great place to start. And be ready to get after it!

I only have 2 more chapters to go — about to read chapter 9 after typing out my review! I’ve been hearing how much people loved chapter 9, but it truly is difficult to have a favorite chapter and quote!

Coach Todd Durkin always gives his all into everything he pursues and works on — “10 IN 10 OUT” — and it just shows through ALL of his efforts and work. This book literally has information on everything an individual would need to know to effectively and properly “get their mind right” — from nutrition, (mental & physical) training, faith, etc. When TD says he wants to IMPACT many lives, he means it and I know for sure that everyone who has the opportunity to read this book — from front cover to back cover — will have at least one aspect of their life positively impacted. This is the type of book everyone in the world should be able to read at least once or twice in their life. You won’t regret buying this book — it is filled with positive energy that makes you WANT to consistently work towards becoming a better version of yourself.

This book has been amazing so far, and reading it in advance would not have been possible without Baker Books — thank you Baker Books and to everyone who made this possible!

I'm almost half way done Todd Durkin's Get Your Mind Right and I think it is his best book yet! I cannot put it down. With limited time, I don't have a lot of chances to read but I am making time daily to read Get Your Mind Right.

He writes in a very personal and relatable way and is able to draw out emotions you may be feeling but not thought about. He shares his vulnerability in stories from his own life He tells about successes and also obstacles and challenges he's had to overcome, the mindset he had to master and the lessons he's learned from those experiences. He raises awareness on how important our mindset is in our everyday lives and he talks about why it's important to get your mind right and he also tells you HOW. It's one thing to know, but another to have the ways to change it so that you feel empowered and more confident in your own life.

This book has a huge impact and can be read and applied to anyone's life no matter what their origin, profession, etc.

I was very fortunate to be able to read an advanced copy and I want to thank Baker Books for giving me that opportunity. Thank you Todd for writing Get Your Mind Right. It will make a big impact in this world.

The Man: Todd Durkin, is definitely a breath of fresh air in a world that desperately needs to take a breath. His love for people, fitness and God breathes life into souls that need a reboot, refocus or a restart. His words speak life and positivity at just the right time. I have rarely encountered a person with Todd’s outlook and drive. He is a God gifted unique man.

The Motivation: Todd has a heat seeker missle focused mentality to his approach at life. His motivation to IMPACT lives and change destinies and the legacies people leave is unmatched. His goal to IMPACT millions will be realized through this timely book. It will span decades and have a lasting effect over the future lives of those fortunate enough to read this gem of a book.

Todd Durkin’s book: Get Your Mind Right, 10 Keys to unlock your potential and ignite your success, was an incredible blessing to me during this COVID 19 Stay Home Order. During this time it would have been very easy to sink into lethargy and give up the drive to accomplish your goals and work at progressing your physical and mental states as we were all cut off from our friends, routines and regular support systems such as routine actives and so much more. But, Todd through his book shows us that we truly are and can be our own best friends or our worst enemy. He encourages us to go deep and pull out those skills and that inspiration that comes from within and on-a deeper more lasting level comes from a relationship with God. He shares his own struggles and successes. He shows us how one never comes without the other and true success is just personal growth. He provides the examples yet guides you through the exercises both physical and mental, spiritual and practical to get you on a path to your best self. Just a terrific book, I truly can’t say enough about it. Thank you Todd for pouring your heart and soul into this book. It is the core workout we all need... :)

I had heard about the trainer Todd Durkin from my friend and trainer Carolyn, who is a member of Durkin's mastermind group. So I was interested to read this book and learn about Durkin, who has positively influenced my friend. Get Your Mind Right is a combination memoir, self-help and Christian inspirational book. I like reading in all of these genres, plus I am a nutritionist, so this book was up my alley.
Even though Durkin is a trainer, the majority of this book has to do with mental and spiritual health, not just physical. There are short chapters on exercise and nutrition, but if you want details in either of these areas, this will not be the book for you. On the other hand if you would like to be inspired and get some good suggestions about how to improve your mental outlook and execution, this book will be great for you.
Durkin has trained many professional athletes and this book may be especially appealing to men who are athletically inclined.

An absolute masterpiece! I love the depth and emotion that Todd puts into not only his books, but all of his endeavors. Todd has the unique ability to tap into a person’s soul and leave an impression that is both lasting and powerful. After reading GYMR it has left me both inspired and determined to live my best and most purpose-driven life. This book will fire up your spirit and teach you to quite your mind so you can “tap into your whispers” and feed your soul. Ever since I was introduced to Todd and his IMPACT brand in 2014 I have undergone such an amazing transformation. I credit Todd for his wisdom, enthusiasm and motivational spirt that has driven me to always perform at my highest level in all that I do. I want to thank Todd’s publisher, Baker Books, for allowing me the opportunity to review the book in advance. I have completed the book multiple times through and every time is just as powerful and stimulating as the first.

Todd Durkin has done it again! His second book touches on the more intense fundamentals of health and fitness - getting your mind right. And the timing couldn’t be more perfect! With the world dealing with this pandemic, what’s going on upstairs in our minds is a big deal.
We have long known and heard about how our thoughts create our reality. Todd presents the idea in a refreshing manner that reminds us again, it’s time to pay attention to the messages we are sending ourselves and the life we are creating.
With Todd’s guidance, you will find a very manageable template to begin to change you habits and create the mind, body and spirit you so desire. We are all products of our upbringing and training, we all have control over our present. Learn to take the steps to be in charge of your destiny, honor your body and find your way to your overall best health!!

TD shines again!
What is the most powerful piece to me is Todd's complete tranceparency and honesty. He doesn't sugarcoat anything, he speaks of himself, his faith, his family and the extended family that he has created "1%" at a time.
TD has been a son, a brother, a husband and father. He has been a spiritual mentor, coach, motivator and inspiration to thousands across the globe.
In this book he has captured the soul of what IMPACT means to him, and how he believes it will improve the world around him. The character of a man or woman can be tested in how they choose to affect their daily landscape. TD has chosen to leave every environment he embraces as a better place, each person he impacts as a better person, and through this book he offers the Who, the What, the How and most importantly the Why. Where ever you are in life this book will elevate you to a higher level! By dreaming big and attacking you fears head on you can create an inspired life plan. Then by paying attention to your thoughts, learning how to overcome life's obstacles, developing great habits you will living an inspired life worthy of telling your story. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is striving to achieve more and experience more in life. I am not only saying this as someone who has read the book, but even more so from the prospective of someone who has lived the Get Your Mind Right philosophy for the past year and half as a member of Todd's gym, Fitness Quest 10. I see what this has done for my life and know what it can do for yours if you fully embrace it!
