I was surprised how far back the Kagerou Daze could reach and change events.
On the whole I like how every medium brought something else to the story with the songs acting as a kind of base for all 3 adaptations.
Order of events across media: I'd say the Light Novels loop into the Manga which loops into the Anime. The songs fit in at various places. The latest songs 'Imaginary Reload' and 'Additional Memory' fit in with volumes 12 and 13 of the Manga.
This series was a masterpiece. The suspense built all the way through, and I could hardly put the books down! The author needs more publicity because there really aren't enough fans of his work.
I'll be reading the light novels as soon as I can get my hands on them!
Kagerou Project has been such an interesting ride!
I was recommended this manga series by a friend and it has definitely been one of the most intriguing pieces of media I have consumed. The fact that there are songs, novels, this manga, and an anime is incredibly cool!
And this manga itself has had so much to offer!! I loved the growth and changes of all the main characters, especially with how they learned to trust or reforge the bonds they had. I loved the dynamics between the Mekakushi Dan, especially how they provided each other comfort and happiness. I couldn't help but feel for all of the characters because I knew deep in my heart that they all didn't deserve all the bad things that happened to them. ESPECIALLY AYANO AND MARRY!!! I LOVE THEM SM!!! PLS I HOPE THEY DONT GET HURT ANY LONGER!!!
So anyways, 5/5 for the whole series, very fun stuff (by fun, i mean DEPRESSING!!)
(why did this series have to have so much death and pain between the characters?? THEY DIDN'T DESERVE THAT. WHY DID THEY GO THROUGH SO MUCH??? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA)
