Snow leopard, Ella Snowden, has a problem. Her parents are requiring her to mate with a man she detests. Love is not even an issue for them. For the sake of her clan, Ella is supposed to mate with the up-and-coming Alpha to the panther clan in order to repopulate the dwindling leopard clan. Her solution? Do what any strong-willed woman would do. She leaves her posh and fairly pampered life and sets off on her own. Too bad Fate interrupts her escape and sends an avalanche her way. Great! Just what she doesn’t need. Buried beneath ten feet of snow, she considers her options—options that are very limited. Does she have any regrets she ran away? No. She’d rather die than mate with that panther.

Tanner McCarson is up to his eyeballs in work building an eco-tourism park in Plux. When he heads to Thedia Province to check on some supplies, he watches as an avalanche buries a car. Being the protective man that he is, he rushes to the rescue, only to discover the woman inside is his mate. While Ella is thrilled to be rescued by a super-hot dragon shifter, she can’t tell him the real reason she is on the run. Needless to say, when that panther finds her, trouble ensues. What will Ella have to do to convince Tanner her lies were for his own good?

Tanner by Vella Day is an amazing story that I have read. This is book number six in this amazing series that I have loved reading very much and can not wait to read more from this author. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about different shifters and paranormal romances.

Tweeting toad! Vella just cranked my tractor with this skillfully composed treat, ratcheting up the exuberance and intensity riding one arresting storyline and gripping plot, wrapping this baby up sleek, shiny and tight. Quirky mishaps and surprising happenstance, showcase the taxing trials and pulse racing tribulations, stumbling through the funky twists and crazy turns, putting our characters through their paces, testing them in ways they never saw coming. Shenanigans, escapades and mayhem rule the roost displaying the drama, turmoil, intrigue, deception, danger, simmering mystique and electrifying situations, along with a boatload of moxie and sass, you have one intoxicating experience. Pushing boundaries and crossing lines, exposing the strengths and weaknesses being weighed and balanced, booting this gem into the eye of the storm, breaking it down, knocking it into overdrive, catapulting it into a hissy with a life-altering culmination. Coiled, woven and knotted, exposing the explosive ups and agonizing downs, grounding in it's strength and awe-inspiring in it's depth. I just love this series. Of course, I do not think I have ever read a book by Vella Day that I have not enjoyed. If you have not read any of this series do not worry because this can be read as a standalone.

I could not imagine what it was like to grow up with a mom as Ella had. I have to think that this was one thing that made her stronger. She was a snow leopard so she knew what it was like to be a shifter. She also was raised with a great deal of responsibility.

OMG, Tanner the sexy Dragon shifter. Can you say, Yum? I love how he was not a womanizer. Every woman pretty much wanted him and he just did not give in and use them like he so easily could have and I love that about him.

I love how Tanner and Ella met. Fate stepping in and putting them in each other’s path like that. How amazing. I also love how shifters can tell pretty much right away that they found their mate.

I love the chemistry that was between them and how well they complimented each other. She was what he needs and the same is for her. He is what she needed as well.

This is a great story and glad I got a chance to read the book. I look forward to some more stories from this author.

Vella Day is one of my most favorite authors and I always look forward to her books. This one is another great addition to an already fabulous series and just gets better and better. Each book can be read as a stand alone, but the series is so awesome, I highly recommend reading each book in the series. It is so worth it, I promise! If you love Paranormal/Shifter books, this is the series for you.

It was so easy to fall in love with the characters. Tanner and Ella were such great characters. I could not help but fall in love with them. They were so perfectly matched and easy to become attached to. Fantastic story line that drew me in. Easy to visualize detailed descriptions. Entertaining dialogue.

Written as a 3rd person, multi pov with a HEA ending.

Would I recommend this book? Yes

Would I read more from this author? Yes

Sweet Shifter Fantasy

Tanner was a sweet shifter fantasy. This is my first time reading about this realm of shifters and I wasn't disappointed. I enjoyed Tanner and Ella story. How they met you can say was romantic even though they met by "accident" via avalanche. They recognized the pull of them being mates and it was entertaining how they worked and romanced each other. Their banter was hilarious and their intimate times were HOT. You could tell they were a perfect match. There were some hiccups (Tanner had a mini temper tantrum that was not becoming dragon shifter and Ella was sooooo remorseful)in their relationship but they were able to work through it and have a wonderful HEA. I'm glad I took a chance to venture out and begin exploring this new series. I think the next story will be just as enjoyable too,

TANNER is the sixth book in the Four Sisters of Fate: Hidden Realms of Silver Lake series. Though this is the sixth in a series, I had no problem reading it as a stand-alone.

I loved this story. A snow leopard and a dragon – fire and ice – a pampered princess on the run and a pauper who has raised himself to greater heights. These two couldn’t be more different and yet fate knows they are the perfect compliment to one another. This is more than opposites attract; this is yin and yang, harmony, balance.

TANNER is a fly-away romance journey.

I love the story and its short and sweet. Ella leaves home to get away from an arranged mating and to be free for a change. She ends up in an avalanche and is rescued by Tanner. Tanner is a dragon shifter and melts the snow to get her out. They both know they are mates and are in no hurry to mate. They spend time getting to know each other and everything is fine until her arranged mate shows up to take her home. Tanner is upset that she didn't trust him enough to tell him the truth and leaves the Providence to think things through. What happens when he returns and Ella isn't there. Must read to find out.

One of my favorite must reads ever by Vella Day! Can a romance work between a dragon shifter & a big cat shifter? From the Four Sisters of Fate spinoff and the fantastic ‘Hidden Realms of Silver Lake’ world, we now have “TANNER” finally! He comes to the rescue of a ‘damsel in distress’ & saves the feisty Ella from certain death... Steamy romance plus a bit of suspense & a fresh new plot with the relatable H/h, witty dialogue, & I was glued to my seat turning pages like crazy! ... Even though I always volunteer to read this author’s books in advance, I also pre-ordered my own kindle book to keep forever! ... So yes, I can honestly recommend this and any of her books to 18+ adult fans of fiction, and especially to those who love contemporary fiction like I do!

Very enjoyable story, set in it'so own world. Different shifter species. Elle a snow leopard, has lived a pampered life, but when her parents tell Har she must marry a man she loathsome she decides to leave her life of wealth and privilege to seek a live of her own choosing.
Tanner a businessman and dragon rescues her when she I'd covered by an avalanche, while leaving.
What a way to start off, Ella was looking for something different and the first day does not disappoint.

I enjoyed this paranormal romance. - a snow leopard and a dragon would not be my picture of fated mates but this works really well. I enjoyed Ella’s character, and loved her organisational skills. Tanner was fun. The story is very entertaining

Fantastic story! Characters that will steal your heart. A storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat and glued to your kindle! For me it was a love- hate deal as the characters face their demons. You will feel their emotions and struggles. A definite must read.

Tanner doesn't think he has time for a mate. Ella is desperate for freedom. Fate has other plans. Will they accept what they are to each other? Will other accept them as mates?

Loved how these two were able to help each other. I loved how strong Ella was and how she stood up for what she felt and wanted. I loved how Tanner accepted what she was to him and that he was willing wait for her to accept it. Good read!

Tanner is a workaholic but fate puts a interesting issue rt in front of him and he loves the surprise. She might not have said do about herself but he still knew how 2 kick ads when it's needed and when they need 2 b 2gether. I don't quite understand why her mom is such a bitch but she'll get a wake up call sooner or later.

A bit rushed

I love the writing style of Ms. Day cause she is always very descriptive which makes visualizing easy. Some previous characters came into play again. I also felt like this book was rushed. There wasn't as much mystery or danger in this book.

I found Bella Day by accident. However, she has provided me with many hours of pleasurable reading! So far I've read the Silver Lake series and the collections paired with it. Looking forward to exploring more of her writing!
