感觉这本书有点过誉了，成书时间很早（1945年前后），对美国的观察只是那个时代的切片，并不能代表当下的美国。不过有一点，讲美国人对于“移民到美国前的祖国”的观感比较负面有点意思，他们都想和过去划清关系。这算是一点点新意吧。
