After the death of my parents, my grandmother took me in; deep in the bayou of Louisiana. She fell ill soon after and I was left in the care of my aunt and uncle who mistreated me because of the color of my skin. My cousin brutally tormented me for years and within that time I learned I had a special sight that allowed me to see events in the future. Not happy events, but death. I was the grim reaper’s handmaiden. My grandmother recovered after some time and sent me to the Ella Louise School for Girls. Plunged into a new world, I escaped my tormenters only to learn the unspoken truths of the south weren’t escapable. The family secrets that haunted my childhood also plagued my future. It was up to me to dig up the buried truth and set it free. Only sometimes the past maybe better left in the past…

To date she has written and published over sixteen books, in varying genre's including mystery, suspense, psychological thrillers, fantasy, sci-fi and contemporary fiction. When she's not writing she's spending time with family or friends, traveling, relaxing at home watching ghost and horror movies or listening to an audio book.
Debbie Evan's Girls by Elle Klass is the third installment of the author's Ruthless Storm trilogy. Set in contemporary Louisiana, Debbie Chargois is the main protagonist in the revenge tragedy. Her troubled existence at the White Oak Plantation is exacerbated by cruel treatment at the hands of her cousin Malery and his parents. Miss Dresdan and her friend Noela are her only allies in an atmosphere charged with racial hatred. The death of Noela creates a chain reaction that results in Debbie's journey to the Ella Louise School for Girls and hopes for a new future. Yet Debbie is unable to escape her past, and it catches up with her in a climactic finale you won't want to miss.
The theme of revenge is enzymatic throughout the novel. Debbie seeks a sense of normalcy, yet the ghosts of the past demand resolution and restitution. Malery is the embodiment of the prejudice and hardship as he follows her to New Orleans where Greta and Gabriel are allies helping her find a fresh start. Only her friends become part of a love triangle as Debbie's sexuality becomes part of the conflict in dealing with her past and her biological roots. Violence and rage explode as Debbie seeks a resolution that may never come to pass.
For gothic fiction lovers and revenge tragedy buffs alike, Elle Klass' series is a worthy addition to your library collection.
In Debbie book 3 of the Evans girls, after her family is murdered by Evan O’Connor the serial killer she sent to live with her grandmother deep in the bayous of Louisiana. Unfortunately her grandma gets sick and is now being raised by her aunt in the same ancestral home were generations before grew up. It is here that she is verbally and physically abused by her aunt and her cousin, but she does it her tutor who is the only one she could tell that she was having these visions if she is the only one who is nice to her. As it goes she eventually grows up and falls in love with a man who thinks he may be the brother of her real father, but not until after they have relations not knowing what to do she retreats back to Louisiana and her childhood home looking for answers and she will find them and more. In this book there is so much to say about it it was so so good, definitely a five star raid. This is a book in a series of books about little girls whose families were killed by the above mentioned Evan Connors and I can’t wait to read the rest. The ending got really good and she kind of went a little crazy but then came back to her so you just have to read it it’s so so awesome. I think L class is got a winner with these books and can’t wait to read more. I received this book from book sirens and I’m leaving this review voluntarily, because it was so freaking good!
