The church shares a unique bond. There is a connection that goes beyond friendship or family and unity that comes from sharing something so deep, that it goes directly to the core of who we are. Fellowship is a key part of being a believer. We are told very clearly in Scripture to love our brothers. So that is what we do. We fellowship with one another and love one another. This year, we have been faced with something unexpected and difficult. The coronavirus has come and, in response, social distancing. It is easy to become discouraged. It is easy to feel isolated. It is easy to feel separated from the rest of the church. However, we have hope! We have a connection that goes be-yond physical closeness. That hope is in Christ. He is the vine by which every one of us is united on every page. He is still at the right hand of God the Father. He is still coming back again, and we will still live with Him in eternity! These poems are a reminder that we look forward to these things. They are a reminder that we will one day worship together in front of the Father for eternity! They are a reminder that, though physically separated, we are still united!
