Shadow Dancing is the fourth book in the Train Wreck series. Luke I’ve been going with Pippa since we started college. Pippa wants me to marry her. Dad wants me to work in the family business. They think my life is mapped out. But I’ve already escaped from straight jacket they’ve put me in. When I met Rose, I couldn’t choose between her and Pip. Then I thought, why do I have to choose one girl? Why can’t I have them all? They live in different towns, so I figured I shouldn’t get caught. Then Pippa caught me with Rose, and all hell broke loose. Can I mend what I’ve broken? Do I want to? Should I leave and chase the dream? Or do what everyone expects? All about coming of age, passion and betrayal.
I really wanted to like this book. The plot was lacking. The writing style and storyline was amateurish. I didn’t like any of the characters. Luke was just an idiot and immature. What do you expect when you string people along. You also don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone. I also didn’t care for Rose nor Pippa. Just ignore all the signs. I was glad Luke got what he deserved. I’m not sure if their story is unfinished or not. I’m okay with not getting a happy ever after. I’ll definitely give this author another chance in the future.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book.
