The 21 Biggest Lies about Donald Trump (and you!)

By Kurt Schlichter,
published 2020, 250+ pages.

Overview
. . .the fact is Donald Trump [DJT] is the most effective conservative president in decades.

That’s why the media hate him...why they lie about him...
When they lie about him, they’re really lying about you, because to the media, anyone who supports Donald Trump is deplorable.

But here...is the counterpunch we’ve been waiting for.

Columnist and bestselling author Kurt Schlichter provides a fact-filled—& frequently hilarious—takedown of some of the media’s most pernicious lies about the president...

• Why liberals cry “racism” at any argument they don’t like—when the real racists of American history have all been the Democrats.
• How Trump “the warmonger” has actually given America a more realistic—and safer—foreign policy than any of his immediate predecessors
• Why the media refuses to understand the difference between legal & illegal immigrants...
• Why Trump and his supporters are infinitely more intelligent than a media that have gotten every major story of the Trump presidency wrong.
• Trump’s great virtues (that too many Republicans lack): realism, courage, common sense, and an unapologetic determination to win conservative victories.

Tired of media and leftwing lies about Donald Trump? Then you’ll love this book.

The Intro begins with Defamation. "Libel is printed defamation, slander is spoken defamation... Put another way, it's a lie." It covers many of the Left's purposeful lies, their commitment to using lies as a tactic to attack Trump, his administration and especially his supporters.

Reading this book months after it was written, the lunatic Left has only gotten worse: toppling statues; burning & pillaging cities under the guise of peaceful protesting; forcing cities to defund the cops & letting criminals break the law with impunity.

"If you ever doubt the tyrannical will of the left, just look at how they try to impose their morals - or lack thereof - on the rest of the country."

Why all the hatred of Trump & his voters? By winning the 2016 election we prevented (temporarily) the elites, the Dems from reaching their goal of "unlimited power."

...and they will never forgive you for getting in their way. Who are "they" anyway? They are the authors, politicians, bureaucrats, writers...the establishment, the globalists, & the ruling class... We typically call them "the liars," if only for the sake of simplicity.

Here I've listed the book's chapters. Each one defines & refutes common liberal lies--the author using humor at times to offset the acrimony. Some lies are now so ridiculous, such eye-rolling nonsense it's incredible Lefties can repeat them with a straight face.

Chapter 1 Trump is a racist...
and You're a Bunch of Bigots Too!

Chapter 2 Trump is stupid...
and you are idiots are too!

Chapter 3 Trump hates LGBT people...
and so do you cisgender monsters!

Chapter 4 Trump is Putin's pet...
and so are you Russian-loving traitors!

Chapter 5 Trump is literally a Nazi...
and so are you goose-stepping Stormtroopers!

Chapter 6 Trump is totally corrupt...
and you don't care!

Chapter 7 Trump is a warmonger...
and so are all you Bloodthirsty Monsters!

Chapter 8 Trump hates immigrants...
and you hate them too!

Chapter 9 Trump hates women...
and so do you, including you women!

Chapter 10 Trump is not a real conservative...
and neither are you, no matter what you actually think!

Chapter 11 Trump hates the Free Press...
and so do you media-hating beasts!

Chapter 12 Trump is a tool of the rich...
and you suckers fell for it!

Chapter 13 Trump is a climate denier...
and you SUV-driving, cheeseburger-gobbling climate criminals are too!

Chapter 14 Trump obstructed Justice...
and you lawless co-conspirators don't care

Chapter 15 Trump is a pawn of the NRA...
and so are you gun nuts!

Chapter 16 Trump is a bully...
and you are part of his gang of thugs!

Chapter 17 Trump loves dictators...
and you do too!

Chapter 18 Trump betrayed our allies...
and so did you!

Chapter 19 Trump is tearing America apart...
and you are complicit!

Chapter 20 Trump Corrupts Christians...
and you are all bad Christians!

Chapter 21 Trump is The New Normal...
We Hope

The book ends with an epilogue from April 2020, dealing with the onslaught of the Chinese virus (coronavirus) & how the Democrats are using it as a bludgeon to attack Trump.

The Dems use lying as a political tactic cuz its works. Their minions believe the lies & they have no concern that pernicious lies poison a whole society.

The book is powerful, poignant and a little frightening--seeing the coordinated efforts of a political party, their mass media & celebrities etc, all committed to lying & demanding submission to the dogma.

A must-read !

In the Intro
about "defamation" (the Left's model for political discourse is mass defamation, aka the big fat lie) the author contrasts their lie narrative with the Founder's constitutional principal of "reasoned discourse"--our govt being entirely based on reasoning, evidence, facts & persuasive debate.

The Dem/Liars have their "Official Truth" - an established lie that's adhered to by all. I'll give just one example: proclaiming climate change as an undeniable fact & labeling those with opposing evidence as climate deniers who hate the planet, blah, blah, blah, ad nauseam. By using the "deniers" pejorative they ignore any inconvenient facts that refute their global warming deception. When the lying Leftists label the other side as deniers (or racists, or haters, or neo-nazis, or alt right. . .) the mere accusation becomes the only proof needed.

"That's not how a free republic is supposed to function; it's how tyranny is born...lies are impressed upon the masses without their consent from the top down..."

Some highlights from the various chapters:

1) By labeling all of us racists the Lefties have turned racism into a joke: demeaning the actual history of racism; ignoring current racist societies; refusing to acknowledge America's history of ending racism & ending the Democrat's Jim Crow South.

The Dem's racism strategy includes: labeling political opponents as racists; the new SJW racism - your're racist for being born white; condemning Trump as anti-semitic, an idiotic charge since he & we are the only full on supporters of the Jewish state; Islamophobic Trump for trying to block terrorists arriving from several pro terrorism countries. The looney Left's obsession with promoting certain races and condemning others based on their race is RACISM. [Yeh, they're hypocrites. Here's a rule for understanding the Liberal/Dems; whatever they accuse you of, they themselves are guilty of - in this case racism].

2) Stupid: "...our lying elites cannot resist the temptation to slander their political rivals," especially the guy who beat them & keeps on winning, DJT.

3) LGBT... DJT doesn't filter his comments or his tweets & has no record of such bigotry. And so, "If he [Trump] thought it, we would know it."

Those with gender dysphoria, "people suffering under a delusion," are indulged by Dems & left untreated. "The trans craze [gender switching is not getically possible] ...isn't the civil rights frontier it's made out to be. It's a full-blown assault on the meaning of human experience."

It is not bigotry: to support the traditional family--the basis of Western civilization; to refuse to sexualize children & to oppose de-gendering kids. "...the left's crazy gender talk would be fine if they just kept it to themselves." They can't. The Lefties envision big government, run by them, replacing the family.

4) Putin's pet. Ha-ha-ha. Yup here's the truly ludicrous charge. The author wonders if the Lefties are just committed liars or if Trump Derangement Syndrome has driven them nuts. He gives some history of Lefty, commie-loving Americans & info on Obama, HRC & others who were sweet on Putin. And the author provides lots of info on the Democrat's Russia-gate scandal, [the Russia-hoax is still being unraveled by Attorney General Bill Barr & company - still expecting Dems & Never Trumper's to be indicted].

5) Why Nazis? Being baddest of the bad, it's a perfect choice to sully DJT. The Dems use a fallacy formula in all these chapters to portray Trump as evil. Here they plug-in the word "Nazi."

Hitler's Nazis were really bad,
Trump is really bad,
So Trump is a Nazi. Yup, that's it.

The author points out that Dems have a lot in common with the Nazis [recall the truism: they accuse you of their own crimes]. Dems have fascist fantasies; employ the Big Lie (Adolf's method of propaganda); they suppress free speech of political rivals; use govt groups (IRS, FBI, etc) to attack GOP politicians & supporters; they want all guns confiscated (as the Nazis did when they seized power); they condemn a specific ethnicity & are all in on terminating the unwanted--all very totalitarian, just like the Nazis.

6) Corrupt - absurd. It's more likely the corruption lies are meant to cover Democrat party corruption (the Clintons, Obama, the Bidens, etc).
"Never in the field of human endeavor was so much made by so few for doing so shity a job."

• Warmonger - no. "...Trump is the first president committed to peace that we've had in a generation."
• Immigrants - the Dems purposely conflate immigrants & illegal aliens, indiscriminately wanting them both in mass to give them a permanent political majority--criminals & all.
• The misogyny lie - says more about the Dems & feminazi attacks on traditional masculinity, a tired lie that no one believes.
• Not conservative - that's nonsense propagated by RINOs & Never Trumper's, like John McCain & Mitt.
"Conserving the republic is the point of conservatism..."
"Liberalism...assumes...government can resolve all of mankind's problems."
• The Mainstream Media (MSM), as DJT says, is the enemy of the people--serving only Dems & Lefties. They hide stories that are damning to Democrats and invent stories to damn the GOP. The MSM is not the free press.

12) The Rich - ...leftists...are too out of touch to see the prosperity Trump provided ordinary Americans...Ronald Reagan did much the same thing 40 years ago. Pelosi & her liars continue to trash Trump's extraordinary economic success & the huge benefit to taxpayers.

• Climate Deniers & its twin pejorative science deniers. It's nothing new, just the Democrat and Looney Left's attempt to scare us into supporting their power grab. In the 1970s it was the coming Ice Age & overpopulation. When temperatures didn't rise as predicted they dumped global warming for the more mutable climate change. It's actually all about the climate deranged pushing their climate change hoax.
• Obstruction of Justice allegations against Trump were merely "political allegations," as the Dems, CIA, FBI & Trump haters, etc attempted a coup. The author reviews some of these Democrat hoaxes perpetrated against Trump & company.
• NRA - DJT regrettably is not doing the NRA's bidding. He's pro 2nd Amendment, but he is not aggressively pushing through gun rights nor ending the many draconian gun restrictions. The Left is busy exploiting shootings (as usual) excusing liberal gunmen & always blaming the gun & the NRA folks--wanting us unarmed & unable to defend ourselves.

• The most abusive bullies ever, accuse DJT of bullying. The Dems are use to bullying conservatives like Bush who feigned dignity instead of defending himself. The Democrats bully everyone on the Right, but are especially vile to Trump & his supporters. Maxine Waters calls for attacking them at restaurants, social media bans & trys to ruin them & mobs assault them. Trump stands up to the liberal liars who habitually try to damage & intimidate us.

• Dictators - Trump is tough on tyrants (like South Korea or China etc) which alarms the experts, when these hard-line measures pay off in decreased hostility & increased cooperation the lying leftists accuse him of loving dictators & wanting to be one himself. Trump embarrasses the liars, whose foreign policies have failed for years.
• Betraying our allies, was the Lefty's new lie when DJT introduced the America First policy and questioned why taxpayers were paying for the defense costs of other rich countries; in some cases dying for them & demanded equality in trade as well. Insisting they pay their fair share ends the freeloading.

• Tearing America apart - Socio-political norms are part of the schism that divides Americans (conservatives vs. liberals) & likely began with the "moral rot" of the 1960s as the Democratic Party turned leftist, rejected traditional family values, went soft on criminals & opposed evangelicals, etc & Obama's divisiveness further marginalized Republicans.

"Obama was all about...identity politics... Rather than bringing Americans together, he wanted to jam his vision of America down the unwilling throats of his opponents." That's why Trump was elected, to prevent liberals & Democrats from "...sending conservatives into permanent irrelevance."

• Christians - "For starters, you must understand that the left hates Christianity" & Orthodox Jews. The Left's objective: "...to destroy...your religion because that is one of the few remaining obstacles to...[their]...unchallenged political, social, and cultural control." Trump, however, promised & has proven to be "...an indefatigable defender of religious people's rights..." Of course we're committed to voting for Trump no matter what. The Democrat's secular alternative is Christophobia [fear, dislike and hatred of Christianity, Christians and things Christian - wiki].

• New normal - the author speculates about Republicans learning a lesson from the success of tough guy Trump & his conservative policies. The establishment, the Dems & their propaganda media etc, are uncooperative haters who will do anything, commit any crime to bring down a Republican president.

The author also suggests a few possible GOP successors to Trump, like Nikki Haley or Mike Pompeo among others.

Schlichter concludes the book with us still having no "...cure for the pandemic of lies about Donald Trump and you (except to tell those lying schmucks to go to hell)."

..

Well presented details on the endless lies about Trump & company 5☆

Don't know how well Libs & Dems will take this revealing look at themselves since they've swallowed the "Official Truth" of the lying Left.

Pascal's quote seems particularly relevant today: “Truth is so obscure in these times, and falsehood so established, that, unless we love the truth, we cannot know it.”

The author of this book wrote an article in 2015 titled "You're A Fool If You're Supporting Donald Trump (And You're Being Exploited.)" for a now ostensibly defunct site called The Journal of IJReview, and I think that headline is more true than ever, but here he's expressing a very different view, because after the 2016 primaries, every conservative pundit had to develop a taste for Trumpism and kiss the ring, or else none of their readers would love them anymore. Now the author is Trump's champion, and he's here to tell you everything you dislike about Trump is fake news with "The 21 Biggest Lies about Donald Trump (and you!)". I think maybe the author just included "(and you!)" in the title because the book is only supposed to be for Republicans, perhaps because he is preaching to the choir and believes his arguments would not be persuasive to anyone who doesn't already agree with him. And sure enough, if you read this book with a critical eye, you will find it is littered with alternative facts. For example:

In chapter 1, where he tries to argue that it is a lie to say that Trump is a racist, he fails to even mention Trump's role in promoting a racist conspiracy theory about the citizenship and place of birth of Barack Obama—you know, the first Black president. Trump basically never admitted he was wrong about this until less than two months before the 2016 election. He also argues that the whole alt-right thing is totally overblown because turnout at Charlottesville was not high enough to warrant concern, which is weird because Steve Bannon—who once described Breitbart (which counts right-wing stars like Ben Shapiro and Milo Yiannopoulos among its alumni) as "the platform for the alt-right"—was one of the top guys in Trump's 2016 campaign and the first half of his presidency, and Tucker Carlson's long-time top writer had to leave because investigative reporters at CNN found out he was alt-right basically, which probably should not be that surprising because this isn't even the first time this has happened with a writer from Tucker Carlson's The Daily Caller. On top of that, over the past few years there have been many mass shootings by alt-right types. The idea that we don't have to worry about the alt-right because their public meetups aren't that big just strikes me as ridiculous.

In chapter 3, he tries to argue that it is a lie to say Trump hates LGBT people. He argues that, while being against same-sex marriage isn't homophobic (which is false—it's definitely homophobic to be against gay rights, hate to break it to you), even if you believe that it is, it still would not make sense to call Trump homophobic because he "famously supported gay marriage before Barack Obama," which is a major fact-checking error. Obama supported same-sex marriage in 2012. The closest Trump has ever come to saying he supports same-sex marriage is in 2016 after he got elected, when he said on 60 Minutes that he would not endeavor to overturn Obergefell v. Hodges. (1) 2016 is after 2012, and (2) this isn't even the same as supporting same-sex marriage anyway; if it is, then that's weird because it's almost identical to Barack Obama's position on Prop 8 from 2008, except slightly worse because Obama's argument against Prop 8 was based on respect for human rights and equality whereas Trump was just trying to reassure people that he was just lying about the stance he had before Election Day. It doesn't really matter what he says anyway because as long as he's picking his Supreme Court judges from the Heritage Foundation's wishlist, Obergefell could be overturned, particularly if Ruth Bader Ginsburg does not survive the next few months until Biden's inauguration. Also, as you can tell from the transcripts on the Fox News website, Trump appeared on the O'Reilly Factor on March 30th, 2011, and he said he was against gay marriage. Quote: "I just don't feel good about it. I don't feel right about it. I'm against it and I take a lot of heat because I come from New York. You know, for New York it's like, how can you be against gay marriage? But I'm opposed to gay marriage." After this, he goes on to accurately predict that Obama would come out in favor of same-sex marriage before the next election, perhaps to draw a distinction between himself and Obama. Anyone who checked PolitiFact could have found this information! Why would he say he opposed it if he supported it? When did he change his position? As far as I know, never! He also seems to attempt to defend the view that the Obergefell decision must have been because of judicial activism and therefore not good, because what did the Founding Fathers say about gay marriage? Well, first of all, the main set of documents used to determine original intent are the Federalist Papers, which were literally just propaganda (in the connotatively neutral sense of the term), so the writers weren't going to say something that 18th-century American colonists probably would've been too backwards to tolerate, plus the Obergefell decision was mostly based on the Fourteenth Amendment, which was adopted during the Reconstruction era, something like three decades after the last Founding Father died, so there goes that argument.

Also, in the same chapter, he just asserts that trans people are the gender they were assigned at birth and not whatever they identify as, but he never engages with any of the usual philosophical arguments for the contrary view, such as those based on Judith Butler's theory of gender performativity. He also just ignores the fact that Trump has arbitrarily rolled back Obama-era protections on LGBT rights, ostensibly for no reason other than the fact that it pleases his Christian conservative supporters.

In chapter 9, where the author attempts to prove that it is a lie to say that Trump hates women, and instead of proving that Trump is a women respecter, the author just gushes about how virile he thinks Trump is, and it's really weird, but eventually he finally gets around to talking about the Access Hollywood tape and strangely fails to address the question of whether what Trump bragged he was in the habit of doing would constitute sexual assault, as many lawyers, law professors, etc. have argued. I mean, isn't the author some type of lawyer dude? Seems like it would've been a good opportunity for him to weigh in, but instead he just basically says it's locker room talk and people just hate Trump because he's manly or whatever. Seems safe to say he totally fails to prove his point yet again.

Another issue with this book is that it doesn't say much about Trump's greatest failure, which is his handling of the coronavirus epidemic, which has killed 157k (i.e., 52.7 times as many people as 9/11) at the time of writing, which seems like a major omission for a book whose goal seems to be reassure you that Trump isn't as bad as people say. The author likes to credit Trump for things he didn't really accomplish, like economic growth, which started under Obama (although not immediately because he had to fix up the mess left by the previous Republican administration, just like Biden is going to have to do—again!), but the word "coronavirus" appears ten times in the book, and in all but one case, it's preceded by the word "Chinese," almost as if to convince you that, because the virus probably originated not in the United States but in a developing nation whose population is the largest in the world, the President of the United States bears no responsibility for how the spread of the plague is exacerbated by his narcissistic and impulsive behavior; he can schedule super-spreader events at indoor venues (in Tulsa for example) without enforcing a mask requirement or even wearing a mask himself, and he can clown around to the adulation of an audience consisting of thousands of new potential disease vectors, all while remaining blameless in the eyes of the right-wing media. Apparently if a particular virus isn't one of our own homegrown American viruses, the President doesn't have to protect people? China didn't make Trump hold an indoor rally in Tulsa, didn't tell him not to wear a mask for almost the whole first half-year since the pandemic started, didn't tell him anti-malaria drugs were a good substitute for masks and social distancing, didn't tell him to defy the medical establishment basically every step of the way, etc.

I mean, I guess you might say the book deserves some slack because Trump's presidency has been sinking to new lows for the past few months, and they were probably already putting the finishing touches on this book awhile ago, but it did not convince me to change any of my views anyway, and I disagree that the twenty-one things he calls "lies" are actually lies, because they are all true!

If you have read Kurt Schlichter's commentaries (and I encourage you to do so) you will know what to expect. History will not be kind to the ridiculous manner in which Trump critics have responded to his presidency. This book documents some of the egregious lies and mis-characterizations that have been put forward. Even if you are not a Trump fan you ought to be aware of how the critics appear to someone who wants to evaluate Trump with reason and fairness.

I took a quick break from The Matarese Circle to read this, because I follow Kurt Schlichter on Twitter (as he now follows me!), and his wit and wordsmithery made me excited to read his book. The 21 Biggest Lies About Donald Trump (and You!) is a fun, fast, and thought-provoking work. It's thought-provoking because, while the lies themselves are obvious and well-known, Schlichter attempts to understand why they're so pervasive, and why people believe even the ones that would seem to contradict each other, or be disproved by clear evidence. There are several reasons, but the most interesting one to me is that Trump has become such a cartoonish supervillain to a large swatch of the public that they will assign any negative trait to him because he's so evil that he must embody every single bad thing there is. I hadn't thought about it that way, but it makes sense (when applied to the nonsensical) and underscores just how out of hand this demonization has gotten. In the current climate, we need every pick-me-up we can get, and Schlichter's new book is a comfort as well as a smart and insightful read.

The Filter is full. Time to back flush

Kurt unloads the truth. Opponents of Trump and his followers disregard truth in a very strange attempt at transitive property of math, applied to people. Trump is bad. Trump has followers. Trumps followers are bad. Trump wants peace. Peace is bad. Trump wants better trade deals. Trade is bad. And, Trumps opponents are willing to lie, and count on the media to carry their water. This is a must read for Trump apologists, and a handy guide to introspection for his foes. At the very least - Trump’s opponents will know that Schlichter has a cogent counter-argument.

Wonderful hard-hitting description of Trump’s excellent qualities in 2017-2020.

Beautiful bottom-line issue analysis, great ability to strip away non-essentials, together with loads of chuckles and some laugh-out-loud moments.

Let’s face it, Schlichter is a great writer and analyst.

Another Winner

Now I'mgonna re-read Militant Normals. Great job , Kurt. Just wish you'd had more time to deconstruct Fauci. You were preaching to the choir, of course. Thanks for the great read. 👍

Honored to give the first review of this book. Unfortunately, the people that need to read this book the most won’t ever consider it. The liberal, the media and most of our families that are hell bent on “anything but Trump” will never be convinced to read this very well thought out, well delivered and convincing book. It almost could be a “step by step” guide of diffusing and winning any argument about the bad orange man.
Great breakdown of 21 topics and what the future holds for the Conservative party.

To enjoy this book, you have to be willing to read the obsequious fawning of a man who once wrote, “But you are not part of the GOP establishment just because you oppose a guy whose focus is solely his own power and position, and for whom conservatism is a useful mask to cover up the avaricious hunger for personal power that is his sole true motivation when that guy’s name is Donald Trump.”

This is quite the pivot, and this is a bucket of lies and misdirections, set out for feeding the rubes. The lies are well documented by others, so I’ll pass on restating them.
It’s cynical manipulation for cash, and thus, thoroughly Trumpian. Read it for the “lolz” if you enjoy paying to be taken advantage of with lies that you want to hear. There’s a market for this; see the positive reviews.

Wash hands thoroughly before and after reading. I recommend library e-copies for that reason. Eww.

A less erudite version of Victor Davis Hanson's book on the subject. Schlichter is more of a polemicist and takes a decidedly pugilistic tone in his writing to point out where the Corporate Media lies to frame Trump in a dim light.

Regardless of how you view the POTUS, it's an entertaining read and a useful one since the coverage of the president is very one-sided. He certainly had fun writing it and its punchy, antagonistic tone will either delight or enrage readers.

This book is like having 3 weeks worth of Kurt Schlichter columns to anticipate. Each chapter is a delight. He unpacks and takes a good look at twenty-one allegations, and explains the dishonesty, foolishness, and mean spiritedness behind each one. Then he refutes them. It's all done with the inimitable Schlichter sarcasm and humor combined with logic.

For example:

What does it mean when the liars call President Trump “racist”? How exactly is he “racist”? What effect does this alleged “racism” have on his policies?

Here’s the big secret: they don’t have an actual definition of “racism” because not having a real definition is useful when you just want a tool to bludgeon your political opponents. It was not always like that. Once, there was a general understanding that “racist” was a condition we could objectively diagnose. Use racial slurs? Check! Embrace and act upon nefarious stereotypes of people of other races? Check! Are a member of the KKK? Check!

The simple fact is that no example of Donald Trump’s saying racist things is anywhere to be found in his voluminous public record. We would know if it were. Oh, would we know it. But, of course, a lack of evidence is not a problem. After all, it’s clear that Trump is racist because the liars said so.

Schlichter attempts to explain why the lies are so pervasive, and why people believe even the ones that would seem to contradict each other, or be disproved by clear evidence. One reason he posits is that the media has portrayed Trump as such a supervillain to such a large swatch of the public that they will assign any negative trait to him because he's so evil and that he must embody every single bad thing there is.

Schlichter illustrates this idea with the transitive property of math, applied to human psychology - Trump is bad. Racism is bad. Trumps is racist.

or

Trump wants better trade deals. Whatever Trump wants is bad. Therefore trade deals are bad.

This is an excellent, truthful and a morale-building book. Unfortunately, the people that need to read this book the most won’t ever be convinced to consider it.

This book is adequate in its own good nature. I did enjoy the "comical" aspect of the book. The book wasn't really comical with its topics, for that the topics of the book is not in any form comical, but the author did a good job providing a buffer to buffer down the "controversy", and stay very certain and focused on the actual problem, without being overwhelming and overbearing.

Basically, the comical aspect utilized in the book, was a great way to buffer down the controversy the topics are defaulted in.

The reason for the 3 of 5, is because the book didn't go in the depth I wished and needed in regards to the context in which the book presented. I really wished the author was more capable of delving in more to how the social relevant topics affected my life, or society as a whole.

The context in which the book provided, was definitely entertaining. No doubt! What wasn't all so enthralling, was that the "comical" aspect of the book's metaphorical and analogical referencing didn't go in the depth I needed it to, to secure my intellectual curiosity and depth of understanding of the topics the book revolved around.

Basically, I really hoped that the author was able to rationalize more in depth of the concepts, in the level in which I was able to for myself. That was the only factor the author failed at for me, which was the cause for the such a low score of the book's rating (pains me that I did, but that aspect really is important to me). But nonetheless, the book is definitely a good and fun read.

Good read for any deplorable

It was kind of like if the Gilmore Girls were conservative and wrote a political book. There were “pop culture” references I didn’t always get. I’m new to the deplorable basket (I only came around when I realized trump never said to inject ourselves with disinfectant and I’ve seen the truth more and more since). And when I came around to Team Trump I had people who had known me for years suddenly see me differently. One person in particular reached out saying she’d always seen me as intelligent and funny...but... what a way to start a message to a friend because they don’t agree with you politically. And then she went on to send me videos that didn’t quite make any point but they sure were woke. I digress. The book is good, the lies are indeed ones I have believed in the past and encountered personally since changing my opinion on Trump and even easier to see now that a Democrat sits in the White House (did MSM ever report on Trump winning a wii game against his granddaughter? Or how he planned to redecorate Air Force One? Nope).
All I can say is - Man, I miss him!

The real Donald Trump

A great read worth lots of insight to Pres Trump and his supporters. Don't be ashamed of your support for Trump. He's doing exactly what we hoped he would do. Stop the left from destroying our country. Kurt Schlicter is funny, insightful, and reinforces our beliefs that Pres Trump is the man for the job.

The author is preaching to the choir for most readers, but he goes into detail on some of the fallacies attributed to DJT, and that gives facts to those that care. The MSM and SM are the real problem, as illustrated by the recent admission by Zuckerberg.

A fun read. A little bittersweet reading it after the 2020 election, knowing what happened, but that doesn’t change the book’s accuracy about all the lies told about Trump.

Loved this book. Think Tucker Carlson on some snarky steroids. Trump fans will devour this book. The Left and traditional media will excoriate it. That in and of itself says something.

The facts that indict the fake news narrative about Donald Trump

For anyone who is concerned about the negative narratives about Donald Trump, Schlichter's comprehensive review demonstrates these narratives are not only false, but in many cases, exactly contrary to the truth.

Kurt Schlichter understands perfectly what is at stake. The left-wing along with the rinos are bent on destroying the United States. Regardless of which party was in control, the menu was identical-DECLINE. That was the reason that 75+ million voters support President Trump. He reversed the decline presided over by the establishment elites.
"Donald Trump has, without meaningful dispute, been the greatest ally of the faithful to occupy the White House in decades. Is he perfect? No. But then again, the imperfection of man is the whole point of Christianity. And Christians know it."
