January 15, 2022 OUTSTANDING ACTION AND CHARACTER COMMUNICATION
Very difficult to tell you everything good ablut this book and the series. I read a LOT of books and I read a number of series by Mark Goodwin. I have not found a series that I didn't like! Mark Goodwin is such a terrific story teller that I am drawn into each book and do not want to stop reading when I get to the end. Ideally the different series would be read in order because the stories weave together so perfectly. Yet, I didn't read in order and enjoyed every one. I like it that he shows the part of scriptures relevant to the chapters. I enjoy character conversations because they are written as if I can hear them talk. I like the way the action is handled with dignity and emotion but not dwelling on the blood and gore. I like it that the characters are treated with flaws because none of us is perfect.
To sum up this review, I must say that I have read each of the three books twice before writing this review because I enjoyed the book and series so much. I rank this book high on my must read list. I know already that I will re-read it again soon!

Fast moving and wonderful end time drama for Bible believers....
I have studied Bible Prophecy since I was a teenager, and have read all of Mark Goodwin's book/series, and this is one of the BEST SERIES!!! I love the way the characters have grown, changed and adapted to the horrible New World Order. We cannot, in our wildest imagination, know how bad things will be during Tribulation, but Mark has done a fantastic job of painting great word pictures of the atrocities which will take place. I also enjoy all the Bible Scripture references showing where we are in Bible Prophecy today. Everything is pertinent to today's HEADLINES and indicates how rapidly Bible Prophecy is being full-filled. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys reading action books and to anyone who takes the Words of God and the Holy Bible seriously!!!! I look forward to reading the next New Series coming from Mark in December!!!

I really enjoyed this series of books by Mark Goodwin. The 3rd book was particularly good. It was fast moving and I wanted to get to the end and had a hard time putting it down. I didn't read the third book until quite awhile after reading the first two, and it took awhile to remember and understand the characters and the history behind the characters. I would really recommend this series, over several other series of this genre. The use of the bible verses and the strong connection to faith and understanding of the need for that connection was clear. I loved this book.

The good guys win, even when they lose
Reading this last book in the series, I kept having to remind myself, with God on their side, the good guys win, even when they lose. That didn't stop my angst as I got caught up in the story, especially as it did, indeed, contain so many upheavals. I read this months after finishing book 2 as an audiobook, but still remembered enough to make this a captivating read. It is definitely best read in order after the other books in The Beginning of Sorrows. I highly recommend this series!

The Beginning of the End
A different kind of prepper story. I love the Bible verses at the beginning of each chapter. This story takes place more in the middle of the end of the age. It starts with plagues and locust. The antichrist is just starting to show his true self and true believers are raptured. In between there's love, conviction, battles and death. Great job. Thank you. Now it's the wait for Book 4.

Good read!
Series inspires me to look up some quotes in the book. Shows how people caught up in the end Times would be hard pressed to survive to the rapture. None believers might not like some of the storyline as well as some believers. I liked the storyline myself! Wished for more details on the bad guys, but this story is mostly about the good guys.I probably would want another book in length for more details. Over all I enjoyed this series.

I love Marks books ...
He's never quite lived up to the 1st book of his I read
(Seven Cows, Ugly and Gaunt: A Post-Apocalyptic Saga of America's Worst Nightmare) ...
but this was nearly as good... I really think these are great to read as it brings you an awareness of how to view how prophecy may play out...
This story line is particularly good as the 1st domino to fall probably will be the ever weakening economy ....

One of the best of this genre!
I enjoy Christian end times fiction, and Mark Goodwin is one of the best! Always great characters you root for and stay with you long after the book is finished. Love that there is no bad language or gratuitous sex scenes. Thank you, Mark. Looking forward to the next series!

Another great book!
I don't think I'm this brave or this resourceful! This is an incredible look at what could happen tomorrow. I'm a pre-trib believer and hope to never witness any part of the tribulation. But we do not know how bad it will be before the rapture. We have no special dispensation. Pray and prepare.

Great series, excellent third and final book!
Mark Goodwin is a fine writer with enough creativity and intelligence to read the scriptures and see a story unfold. It was well worth the wait for this last book in the series. I look forward to reading all three again when they come out as a complete book! Come, Lord Jesus.

Another home run for Mark Goodwin!
I had to wait for this one to come out but it was worth the wait! I really got into his characters. They are like real people. They experience joy, anger, sorrow, fear. All the emotions we deal with. The end is a real shocker! I was not ready! Will you figure it out??

Mark Goodwin does it again
I.truly though book two was Marks beat book but then I read this book. It tool me.less than a day to finish but its story will stay with me for years. Mark Goodwin shares his gift of writing to tell a brilliant story that will captivate you from page one . This is a must read

a Sad, But Happy Ending
I was expecting Josh's death at some point and it was as bitter sweet as I thought it would be. As a Christian, that is the ending expected for a brother in Christ who was trying to walk in His Way. Although I don't subscribe to the idea of a Rapture before Christ's return, I did enjoy the end of the series. Mark drew you in with his characters.

Mark Goodwin's books are so awesome.
Going through the end time tribulations and watching the anti Christ try to spin everything as him saving the world is mind boggling. Joshua, Emilio, Nicole and all the others who know what will be happening and trying to stop it is just heart breaking especially with the losses they have suffered. What is next for the ones who are left?

These books hit home
I have really come to enjoy these books by this author. It’s an easy, comfortable read that allows you to engage your spirt and become one with the story. This book speaks of the importance of faith, prayer, and trying to be an example to lead others to Jesus.

Upheaval
This finishes a pretty good series. I've enjoyed it except for the preppermo specifics, as I've said before. As for the story itself, it was adventure, it was thrilling, it was imaginative, it was heartfelt, it was heartbreaking. Oh! How I wanted to be with Josh & Lindsey at the end!

Wake up call

I didn’t want this book to end!
A true page turner, couldn’t put it down, I even read way past my bedtime. Then I’d sneak reading while I was supposed to be working. I loved the characters and you just never know who’s going to live and who isn’t.

Great book very hard to put down
This was a wonderful book I would recommend it to those with a conservative background who enjoy clean reading. It is a wonderful book and I might add a great suggestion especially for the times we are in today.

Exceptional!
Mark Goodwin's book is again a great success! He takes an ever so slight twist on the Left Behind series by Tim Lehaye and turns it into a gripping story. If you enjoy Mark Goodwin books, you will not be disappointed in this one.

Entertaining
There are a lot of different views on end-times, and I don’t exactly agree with the timing of Mark Goodwin’s. But it doesn’t take away from the enjoyment of this read. It was certainly a page turner from beginning to end.

Great book, great saga, great adventure
Mark is a truly a gifted writer. The story line is very inspiring, timely, and most of all thought provoking.... I highly recommend this series.

A Thrill Ride!
This book was a consuming thrill ride with an explosive ending. Kept me reading until I passed out with it on my chest; woke up this morning had to pick it up right away and finish!

Bookworm
I found this entire series a very good read. As a firm believer in the pre-Trib rapture I disagree with this author’s interpretation.
I find it hard to believe that will be anyone who will be able to take up arms against the evil
