I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Victoria is a physiotherapist who loves her job, she has spent her life getting to where she wants to be but the day that Ethan walks into her office things change. So when he asks her out she declines because of him being her patient. Only after five weeks that is no longer an issue and they have their first official date, thinking it’s going well she’s shocked when he dumps her. Will she discover the reason why he chose to break her heart?

Ethan was busy cleaning out his gutters on the day the injury happens, he perseveres with the pain that is until he promises his son he will get treatment, when he meets Victoria he can’t believe the feelings she invokes in him and he is determined to take her on a date. Waiting the full five weeks she discharges him and finally agrees to the date, but the next morning he realises that this could never work, he has a grown up son, has been married he’s in no rush to do it all again. Walking away seems to be the only option, has he just destroyed the chance to be loved and love?

Great addition to the series and enjoyable safe read. 3.8 🌟

I have enjoyed this series and this particular addition is a great example of why. Ethan was on his way to being a grumpy old curmudgeon. Crossing paths with Victoria set them on a new path. It's sweet (even though he can be a giant idiot on occasion) with a nice steamy scene thrown in for good measure. I enjoyed this as part of Big Hot Alphas box set 7-9.

I really liked this romance between Ethan, the grump and Victoria, the sunshine.

Ethan is the grumpy neighbor to Jack and Claire from the previous novella. He is a landscape artist who likes to keep his garden perfect and beautiful. He is fifty years old with a failed marriage and an adult son and he likes his peace and quiet. But one day Victoria the thirty year old physiotherapist enters his life and everything he knows gets turned upside down. How will he deal with this and is she about to let some insecurities come between them?

The story is really, really sweet and short but the steamy scene is very steamy and the two main characters really belong together. You see that really quickly and that is why the instalove works in Kate hunts books.
It is also great to see a bigger heroine that has insecurities about her weight when she is naked but only then. Otherwise she is very confident in herself and goes after what she wants.

I can definitely recommend this book.

Falling into love

When Ethan takes a fall from a ladder at his house he injures his shoulder. At fifty years old this divorced man with a grown son, Dean, is like most men.......if he just ignores the injury and takes some pain meds then it will all go away. Unfortunately a week later and he cannot life his arm above his shoulder. Dean, who is a stuntman in LA, makes him promise to go to the doctor to get it checked out. Yep he has injured it and the doctor refers him to a physical therapist. Ethan decides he will go for one visit, as what can PT do for him, but it is just to make everyone else happy.
Victoria is a thirty'ish year old Physical Therapist who likes what she does. She lives a fairly quiet life between work home and an elderly neighbor, Ida, who is like a grandmother to her. As Ida says, Victoria needs to get "loved up".
When Victoria and Ethan meet during his first appointment with her there are sparks but it is a patient/therapist relationship so no "loving up" allowed. Ethan goes for two appointments before he decides that he cannot go back because Victoria is all he can think about, and dream about. When he misses his next appointment without a word Victoria pays a house call to make sure his is okay and find out what happened. While there she gives him more therapy and then Ethan cooks dinner for her. It is a non-date but a deal is made that he can ask her out when he is done being her patient. Watch out because four weeks later and the bell has been rung to start their relationship. They are hot, sexy, sweaty and very satisfied before the night is done. But Ethan is still reeling from a very bad ending to his marriage and runs for the hills on Victoria. Luckily for him she knows where he lives and has already proven that she is not afraid to use that information to go after him, after all the old "it ain't you it's me" excuse is not going to cut it with her.

ETHAN is the eighth book in the Big Hot Alphas series by Kate Hunt. Ethan is a big, sexy, grumpy and wounded man who has decided that he should be alone instead of risking his heart again. Victoria is a sweet, beautiful, curvy and intelligent woman who is confident enough to step out on that limb, even if she is insecure about what she perceives as her own flaws. They fit together nicely and help heal each other in this steamy, sweet, romantic and fun short story. This is another winner by Kate Hunt!

Ethan is the eighth installme in Kate Hunt’s Big Hot Alpha series. It chronciles the romantic journey of Victoria and Ethan. Readers met Ethan, as a secondary character in Jack (book 7). He is a 50-year-old landscaper living next door to Claire and Jack. Destiny brings them together when Ethan falls from a ladder injuring a shoulder. He is in need of physical therapy. Victoria is a physical therapist and treats Ethan. Sparks ignite when they first lay eyes on each other. Each is a bit leary relative to pursuing their feelings. As soon as his treatment is complete, Ethan asks her out on a date. How long will it take for these two to fall in love? Can Ethan overcome his emotional demons that resulted from a nasty divorce? To find out how this relationship turns out, you must read this book.

I enjoy her writing style and the way she masterfully uses literary devices such as characterization, dual POV, dialog, and descriptive language to weave her romance tales. Although the plot is a basic boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, and an HEA ending, each installment is different enough to keep the readers attention. I also enjoy how Ms. Hunt takes one of the secondary characters and sets them up as a lead character in the next installment. Likewise, I appreciate when she uses previous lead characters as secondary ones thereby giving readers a glimpse of life after a HEA.

Nothing unduly strenuous

This is a sweet story about Ethan and Victoria. He hurt his shoulder coming off a ladder, and she was the physical therapist he went to for some rehab. They were instantly attracted to each other, but Victoria wasn’t willing to cross the professional line and allow anything to happen.

Well, not until AFTER he’d finished with the sessions with her. So once that was over, they dived right in! It was sweet and romantic, and hot and steamy… while it lasted! They seemed perfect for each other!

I have to admit, I did hate him for a little bit when he broke her heart momentarily. Lucky she had the guts to call him out on his selfish decision-making, and got them back on track. What came afterwards was a wonderful reunion, where everyone gets what they deserve.

This is a quick read I’d definitely recommend. I did however think it ended a bit too abruptly, and wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these characters yet. I really enjoyed them together. I give this book four and a half stars. And as always, I look forward to Kate’s next book!

If you like slow-burning, sweet romance stories, this one is perfect for you! Ethan has already had enough heartbreak that he doesn’t want another relationship. But when he is injured, he has to go to physical therapy to get treatment for his shoulder. His physical therapist is a sweet young woman named Victoria with a beautiful outlook on life. She is good at what she does and doesn’t tolerate any nonsense from her patients. Ethan tries to not fall for her; she’s too young for him and deserves better, he thinks. But they get along well, are attracted to each other, and he feels his resistance crumbling.

This story line is so good as it takes the reader into the strong feelings they are developing for each other. The reader will love these characters because they are good people who have what it takes to keep a heartfelt relationship solid. Will they give it a chance? Will they find the HEA they both so thoroughly deserve? Or will he let a stubborn attitude make him walk away?

Ethan was working at his house and fell from a ladder. He didn't go get treated for it and ends up hurting worse for it. When he gets told about a that he should see a doctor he gives in and goes. Victoria is a physical therapist and she is the one Ethan ends up seeing for his injury. However he wants to do more than see her as a patient which causes some issues and has her wondering if she should send him to another therapist. Yet surprisingly enough Ethan agrees to wait until after his treatment for them to date. Will they get their happy ending or will things end before they even begin?

This is a steamy short story that will draw you in from the first chapter. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Ethan is a sweet romantic story that will melt your heart and make you smile

Ethan keeps to himself, love has not been good to him so he protects it at all cost. After being hurt his is forced to go to therapy for this shoulder. There he meets Victoria, a young therapist with a loving heart. Their story is a slow burn the grows as the ice around Ethan heart melts and possibility develops.

This is one of my favorites in the series because of how Ethan and Victoria's relationship develops and grows over the weeks of he is in therapy, and the fact Victoria is not willing to put up with his bull.

I really enjoyed the story of Ethan and Victoria. Ethan is an older gentleman who has had a terrible marriage and is currently divorced. Victoria is a physical therapist who has a positive outlook in life. Due to fate, Ethan needs Victoria services after a terrible fall. Victoria managed to get under his defensive and Ethan is enamored by her. Victoria does not let the factor that Ethan is slighter older than her stop his advance. Ethan on the other hand see things differently. Is Victoria able to help him see that they are best together rather than apart? I can't wait to see the next story for this series.

Victoria is a 30 year old physical therapist who meets handsome, built, 50 year old Ethan after he falls from a ladder and injures his arm and shoulder. Ethan lives alone after a messy divorce, has a grown son, and feels he is too old for a relationship with Victoria. When he becomes distracted by her during therapy and thinks about her at home, he decides to stop therapy. When he doesn’t return calls Victoria stops by his house to see if there is a problem and talks him into returning to therapy but lets him know they can’t date when he is a patient. Will the age difference keep them from having a relationship? An they find happiness together?

This was a short, fun instalove story. I liked that the age difference became meaningless after they got to know each other.

Ethan falls off a ladder and meets the much younger physical therapist Victoria.
While cleaning his gutters Fifty year old Ethan falls of the ladder and hurts arm and shoulder but ignores the pain for a week. When he goes to the doctor's he is sent for physical therapy and on his first visit he is shocked and attracted to Victoria the beautiful young therapist. Scared of his reaction he misses the next appointment and the finds Victoria on his doorstep wondering why he had not attended the appointment. She offers to run through the exercises as she is there and Ethan makes a meal when they have finished but when he asks for a date she tells him she is unable to while he is a patient.

Ethan is a grumpy, stubborn older man. When he gets hurt, he denies it until his son stops bugging him about going to the doctor. The doctor recommends physical therapist, Victoria. He is hesitant and has a small crush on Victoria. Ethan does several things that make you want to call him a jerk. Hopefully, Ethan can mend his ways before losing Victoria for good. Victoria is a strong willed, fiesty female who sees through Ethan's bravado. Plus she calls him out on his back. The characters have chemistry. The story flows smoothly and is a short read. I want a garden like the one mentioned in the book.

I liked this short story. It was entertaining and original. The characters were interesting and likable. I went back and forth on Victoria and her actions. Some of what she did, I wasn't sure that it was ok. Things turned out ok, but it still seemed wonky. Ethan was so regimented that I kept thinking he was going to be military or former military but there's no mention of that. Ethan and Victoria are good together as she helps him relax a bit and he's supportive of her. They were very sweet and only really had a little angst that was quickly resolved. I loved their happy ever after and I recommend reading this book.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Ethan is book eight in the ‘’big hot alpha’s’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Ethan hurts his arm he has to go to physical therapy. What he doesn’t expect is to want his therapist.
The chemistry between Ethan and Victoria is clear to see. That being said, I would have liked a few more scenes of them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Ethan was suffering from a heartbreak and not wanting to commit to another woman. He was all about maintaining his yard and keeping order. When he had an accident that forced him to attend physical therapy, his attitude began to change. He was attracted to his therapist Victoria. He felt with him being older, the age difference would be a problem. Ethan thought she deserved better than him. He assumed he could not give her what she wanted. Victoria was not one to be dismissed and accept defeat.
It was nice to see the change in Ethan and accept what and who was in front of him.

This is the 8th book in the Big Hot Alphas series and a fantastic one! You should go back and read all the previous one as they are great reads. Even though it is a short story Ms Hunt takes the time to build the story as well as the characters so that you can almost see and feel everything that they do. Ethan and Victoria's story is one of realizing that you can find love and happiness in your life even after you think that part of your life has passed you by. It was so fun to see Ethan's grumpy self come to life! This book has everything you could want; comedy, drama, and hot romance.

This is such a sweet story. I love reading this series by Kate Hunt. They are always quick great stories!

Ethan is an older man who had an accident in his home. He needs some physical therapy even if he doesn't want to go. Victoria is a great therapist. She realizes that she needs a different approach with Ethan. Ethan is amazed by Victoria and attracted to her. He won't do anything about it since he believes that she wants things that he can't give her. Victoria is attracted to him as well but won't cross the line while he is her patient. Will they get a chance at love?

Second chance to Love!

This is about Ethan and Victoria. Ethan is 50 and a fit man, but when he falls off his ladder from cleaning his gutters, he is forced to see a physical therapist. Victoria is that physical therapist and when he takes one look, he cannot seem to concentrate so he decides he is not returning. After he is a no show, Victoria decides to go see him and figure out why he is not coming back. Well she manages to get him to come back to therapy with the promise to date him once his sessions are over. He agrees and five weeks later, the first date comes alive. It is a short story but with a very happy ending.

Ethan injures his arm when his ladder collapses while he's cleaning the gutters. His doctor sends him for physical therapy. Victoria is the physical therapist he goes to. And holy cow - he's hot! And he likes her, too. But it would not be professional for them to date while she's his patient, so they wait. This is a nice spicy little story, with two people who really belong together. They're both strong, smart, not afraid to go after what they want, with one exception - she's insecure about her weight and he's insecure about his age. But once they get past this, look out!

This is an age-gap insta-love but drawn out in a spectacular way. Ethan has become hardened since his divorce and somewhat set in his ways, he is very broody. Victoria is sweet and perky and just a down right caregiver to those in need. You know that there will be something between these two but what there is, is so sweet with a little angst. These two are so fantastic together, they are just what the other was missing.

I do have to say, that I love that my name is in the book even though I am not 65 :)

Ethan fell off the ladder and ended up having to do Physical Therapy. His physical therapist is Victoria. Ethan is attracted to Victoria. He decides he can’t go to her anymore because he is too attracted to her and can’t handle it anymore. They decide after therapy they will date. Will it happen? If it does happen what then? Will their age difference cause an issue? It is a sweet, sweet story about two very different people trying to find their way. Good story!

A beautifully written romance read , absolutely loved Ethan and Victoria's characters , he might have been older but as you read the book you just know that they are perfect for each other , it's so well written and has a fab storyline and yes it's a quickie read but I honestly couldn't put it down until I finished it , and yes I would recommend this feelgood romance to others

Insta-love of an older man and a younger woman that you can read in about a hour. They met with her being his physical therapist. I did appreciate the fact that they did follow the rules of no dating, while he was still one of her patients. That showed real professionalism giving the book a higher level of credibility. You will enjoy the HEA ending.

Hot sexy older man falling for his much younger physical therapist. Great connection and instant attraction, with easy going characters, not high drama. Love how the author blends and progresses the storyline well, until the inevitable hiccup with the characters. Will they or won’t they end up together, nice easy read so enjoy the outcome.

This is a quick, sweet romance between an older man and a younger woman. After his divorce Ethan didn't want another relationship until he met Victoria his physical therapist. She doesn't put up with his broodiness and makes him a better man. I loved that in this book the author shows that age is just a number and love can win in the end. Great writing, a beautiful story and a great ending make this a great read. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Lowest Point

Ethan is grouchy and when he gets injured mad at the world. His son convinces him to get it checked out and then he meets Victoria, his physical therapist. To say the world shifted is not enough. Her smile and her welcoming presence calls to him but he can never give her what she wants. Or can he?
Life has a way of putting us right where we need to be when we are at our lowest. It's up to us to take it and be better as Ethan discovers the hard way.

This book was short, steamy and sweet. I love how sweet and gentleman-like Ethan is and how gentle he seems to be. He has great chemistry with Victoria, and I love how bold and assertive she is. They seem to be a perfect fit. And the HEA is awesome as it ended a bit differently than I thought it would.
