My name is Lottie Lemon, and I see dead people. Okay, so I rarely see dead people, mostly I see furry creatures of the dearly departed variety, who have come back from the other side to warn me of their previous owner’s impending doom.
It’s Thanksgiving in Honey Hollow! Everett’s birthday is almost here and I’m planning a huge party. But quicker than you can shake a stick at my party planning, the body of someone near and dear to Everett turns up and suddenly we’re not feeling so celebratory.
Lottie Lemon has a brand new bakery to tend to, a budding romance with perhaps one too many suitors, and she has the supernatural ability to see the dead—which are always harbingers for ominous things to come. Throw in the occasional ghost of the human variety, a string of murders, and her insatiable thirst for justice, and you’ll have more chaos than you know what to do with.

Another fabulous book in this series. Halloween is over and Thanksgiving is on its way. Lottie and her guys are all sharing a house and trying to restore their lives. I The closeness between the three of them is stronger than ever. I highly recommend this book and this series.

Can we ever lose the detective? 27 books in and this never-gonna-be-a-throuple is getting REALLY old. Please, for the love of reading, please find him another love interest! Other than that, the story had a good twist that I enjoyed.
I follow this series faithfully. The author weaves just enough complications to make the story interesting. Romance, mystery and humor, what else do you need.
This one was just okay for me. It is getting tiresome for Lottie to constantly have her family and friends causing her issues with her doing nothing about it. Her real mother is a certifiable and the fact Miranda let some "party planner" in was ridiculous. I find it hard to fathom both Everett and Noah allowing these shenanigans to continue. The whole love triangle should have ended a long time ago and it is very disappointing to see that it still continues. The curse is getting out of hand and there should be some kind of resolution to this at some point I am hoping. I have not forgotten what Nell left Lottie so it seems ridiculous that she would be without options should more "bad luck" befall her. Hoping Addison Moore moves this along pretty quickly from here. The whole Noah issue at the end was just plain ridiculous. Am hoping Lottie Lemon finds some common sense at some point.
It is really hard to believe that we are 27 books into this series and as I finish each book I am oh so ready for the next one so that I can find out what is going to happen next. This is proof positive that Addison is an awesome author. She knows how to write a series and keep you interested and wanting more.
In this book, we come upon the gang as it grows close to Thanksgiving. When we last left them Lottie's house and Everetts's house were burning to the ground and Everette and Noha were in Everette's house making sure that Evie was not still inside. That left us all hanging and hoping that things would turn out ok. In the end, they are safe and as both Lottie's house and Everette's house burn down they move into Noha's house until they can find a new place to live.
While all of this is going on there is a big todo going on along the main street in Honey Hollow and all of the businesses have little stands out front and are displaying their products and selling things. Of course, this is when a murder happens and all of the best-laid plans for Lottie to just relax and stay out of trouble going down the drain. Even though she is now 5 months pregnant can not let a murder go by without trying to solve it herself. Even if it puts her and her baby in harm's way. Lots of things happen in this book. It just keeps you guessing and wondering what is going to happen next.
While this is a stand-alone book, I really do suggest that you start at book one and read them all as you get to know everyone in these books and it makes the books so much more enjoyable.

Pecan Pie Predicament is the twenty-seventh book in the Murder in the Mix series by Addison Moore and it's fantastic as usual. Town baker Lottie Lemon is once again doomed to stumble upon another dastardly murder of one of her town's residents who just so happens to be sampling her desserts. Despite being worrying about the Hearst curse driving around and using her ever-evolving transmundane abilities with the help of a ghostly entity, Lottie and friends must hunt for a killer among the residents of Honey Hollow. Hopefully before the murderer turns their sights on our investigative town baker with a bun in the oven herself. Because let's be honest, Lottie can't keep her investigative curiosity in check, pregnant or not.
Meanwhile, underneath the murder mystery remains the ongoing love triangle between Lottie, Everett and Noah. The upcoming addition to their trio is soon to be thrown into the mix and the complicated threesome must learn to evolve with the times. As if their situation wasn't complicated enough right?!
While this is a standalone, I highly recommend reading at least a few of the previous books in the series. This book is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page and give you a few good laughs in between. You'll thoroughly enjoy this spirited story from a fantastic author. I can't wait to see what this gang gets up to next and where the Hearst curse will take them.

I love this series, Addison has done it again! Lottie stumbles upon another body. She won't let a little thing like a pregnancy stop her from solving this murder. Will Lottie solve another one or will Noah finally beat her to one? Will Lottie find out who the baby's father is? I'm team Everett all the way!
Lottie Lemon runs the Cutie Pie Bakery In Honey Hollow, Vermont. The town is having a Taste of the Honey Hollow Street Fair. Lottie has a booth her and her top seller is pecan pie slices. Unfortunately there's a murder at one of the businesses nearby. Lottie's determined to try to find out who the killer is. Lottie is transmundane. She can see and talk with the ghost pets of the recently departed. But, sometimes it's a person that shows up. In this book it's a male friend of the victim. Lottie is now 5 months pregnant and Everett and Noah do not want her to get into any danger. Lottie does her usual thing and tries to figure out who the killer might be. She interviews some dangerous people in dangerous places, including one who's a hitman. This meeting has some unexpected consequences. Can Lottie solve the crime and stay safe.

Back to Honey Hollow we go with Lottie Lemon and crew! Lottie, Everett, and Noah are still recovering from Halloween and the loss of Everett's and Lottie's houses. Murder does not rest though! During the Honey Hollow street fair, Lottie stumbles upon another body, holding her pecan pie. With a "sugar cookie" in the oven you would think Lottie would give up her sleuthing hat. Not today though. It will take her usual investigative "team" to help Lottie find a killer, including a spectral fitness fanatic, before Lottie becomes another victim. Read this ltest in the Murder in the Mix series...you won't be disappointed!
Here I sit thinking the only predicament going on, other than the one involving pecan pie, is the fact there were no more pages. We join Lottie as the Thanksgiving season has fallen upon Honey Hollow. With a baby on the way, their homes being burnt down, and a homicide life is anything but relaxing for the holidays. Laugh out loud easy to get lost in mystery that is hard to put down. Say this is book #27, and I’m still anxious to see what happens with Lottie and them all is proof that Addison is a natural in the cozy mystery genre! Although this could be read as a stand alone I do highly suggest you get the full understanding of the characters to go back and start from the beginning.
Even after 27 books, I still love this series! Addison Moore continues to bring new excitement to this series with each installment while still staying true to the characters themselves. When this series first started, I wasn't sure what to expect. The story was original, but I wasn't sure how long the author would be able to make the stories fun and interesting without rewriting the same story over again. However, I'm happy to say that even with 27 books in the series, the books are still fun, fresh, and exciting. I'm looking forward to reading more of Lottie and the Honey Hollow gang. Well done to the author!
After a crazy Halloween season, Lottie Lemon is looking forward to hopefully a clam Thanksgiving season. However, calm is never in her future and after finding a body and now she must find the killer before it's too late. Such a good book. Quite the Predicament indeed. Lottie is back, and recovering from disaster! The Hurst Curse made the ending of Spooky Spice Cake Curse a real horror, and we live out that dramatic ending in the beginning of Pecan Pie Predicament. With all the recent dramatics, what is one more body popping up with one of Lottie's famous desserts in hand? This book took me through some twists and turns. It kept me guessing throughout the entire book and kept the biggest surprises till the end!! Welcome back to Honey Hollow everyone. The desserts are to die for!
This series just keeps getting better!! I love every trip to Honey Hollow and the crew just cracks me up. This book was no exception. This one started with a little cliffhanger but thankfully all is well or as well as can be for Lottie and her me. Can’t wait until the next one!

I can't believe this is book number 27! I love the Murder in the Mix series and this book is no exception. Lottie Lemon and her crazy murder solving, ghost seeing crew almost feel like family to me at this point. I can't wait for book 28!!
Again, sadly disappointed in this book. I love this series but the last few books are making me shake my head. Lottie is fiercely loyal and protective of her family and friends, yet she totally disregards her unborn baby's safety by chasing suspects alone, it's ridiculous.
Lottie is with Everett when they find Lottie's neighbor Hannah dead at exercise business. Lottie decides that she will start looking into the crime. Lottie will have her hands full with suspects, due to the way Hannah dealt with others. Lottie is also trying to navigate being pregnant and not knowing who the father is. She has feeling for both men, even if she is married to one of them. Lottie will also have to figure out housing soon as it is getting cramped where they are. Lottie with help from the others will narrow done the list of suspects, but she might be the one in danger. She also might have put someone else's life in danger with her line of questions.
This is just a brief look at what happens in the book. This book has some really entertaining characters including the main one. There is a character for everyone, the main character will keep you reading with everything that is going on with her. I recommend reading this.
Thanksgiving time in Honey Hollow and no home for Lottie or Everett and Evie. There is cooking, and baking to be done and of course the murder. After Halloween there is still trouble brewing for Lottie. The killer is out there and they may be gunning for Lottie. What will happen now that Lottie did not listen to Nell's warning?
This book was funny. The whole series is a light, enjoyable read but for some reason this book and especially the ending cracked me up. I don’t think that was the author’s intention, but it was rather amusing.
I like this story. Lottie is enjoying autumn and her life with her family. Lottie has another murder to solve. I wish she would listen to Everette and Noah about dangerous criminals. The twist at the end is good.
This ends on a bit of a cliffhanger you might want to have the next book cued up. Murder and mayhem as usual for the series. I can't wait to read the next book!
Who killed Hannah Beckham and Charles Nelson and why??? Lottie will figure things out though, won’t she??? I enjoyed this story and recommend the book.
This ghost wasn’t helpful at all he spent more time with Greely and eating food than helping to solve the case. These apparitions are supposed to be sent to help at least in the last few books. In the beginning they weren’t really helpful either. The sexual innuendo is getting annoying. At least it’s only with one man now which is better. They hinted about two babies with two different fathers Heteropaternal superfecundation which is actually what I was hoping for. I feel sorry for Noah he’s getting the short end of the stick. He was Lottie’s first love. She seems more content with Everett now. I’m glad she’s seemly more settled but I hope Noah finds someone too. Lottie can’t continue to have both men it’s obscene. The author states Lottie only has a bowl size belly at 5 months. She’s gained over 20 pounds in less than a month she has to be showing more than that! Especially if it’s twins!! She’s not following her doctor’s advice to eat healthier choices. She’s eating full cakes for crying out loud! Then follows with a huge meal? Her sexual appetite is strange too. I’ve never heard of this side effect or experienced it myself.
