I have always wondered about Blaise and who his mate would truly be. And this story in no way disappointed! Blaise hides his worries about himself and his demon behind humor and alcohol. And while that makes him the funny man who many want to be around, it also keeps people at a distance. He and his demon are old and have seen a lot. And Blaise feels his demon more and more every day. Isobel grew up in the foster system knowing that she and her friends are different. She just never realized exactly how different. And then you add in her infatuation with vampires, and it makes her seem even stranger to people.

I loved their connection and how everything started for them! Not everyone can say they were run over by Elvira LOL!! Isobel and her attitude just cracked me up and made me love her even more. And then you have her friends, Bill, and Gus? And I couldn't help but love it and never want it to end. Throw in their common enemy, and it makes for a great tale! And I really can't wait to read about the last friends story! Although, I am pretty impatient for a certain Scot's story!!

Blaise’s story
This book is part of Mandy M. Roth’s larger Immortal Ops world. We’ve met Blaise briefly in prior books, so that we know he is a vampire with a demon inside him. Our other main character is Isobel, whom we have also met, along with her friends Liberty and Daisy. Each of the three women have talents that they initially are unaware of, each becomes introduced to agents of the Immortal Ops organization, and finally opening to their unique talents. And each successive book adds new threats to the operatives and their chosen ones. All of these series of books follow closely the same format, but each is enjoyable to read because additional characters are introduced and you become vested in their eventual stories. I’m looking forward to the next book in this very extensive series. Bat Out of Hell is well written, with no grammatical errors. I received an ARC of this book from the author through Booksprout, and this is my honest opinion.

Another awesome Immortal Ops book that had me laughing and on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. Blaise is old... really old... and when his mate hits him, well it takes some time to figure out what she is to him. When I say hit, she runs him over. Isobel have always been interested in vampires, she named her car Elvira. It seems fitting that she ends up with one as a mate. While her and her best friends have powers, they do not know about the supernatural. In walk Rurik, Bill, Gus, then Blaise and the rest of the team. Talk about an overload of hotness.
I loved this book and loved how everything plays out between Blaise and Isobel. There is heat, danger, family, oh and an old enemy in this book. Bill was the cause of some of my laughter, as usual. I really did not want this book to end.

Mandy has done it again she delivered another awesome read. It's to good to put down....it's one of those reads you just have to keep reading because you need to know what's going to happen next you just can't wait. This story is filled with lots of laughs and action to match. I loved everyone of the characters.
Blaze and Isobel have been connected in the past more than once. So when events that play out bring them together again it's more than what they are prepared for. When something from or someone evil from Blaze's and Isobel's past come rearing its ugly head they realize it's more the fate that brought them together they were made for each other.

I absolutely LOVED how this story picks up right where the previous story left off, and let’s us see certain events from another viewpoint. The story was fast paced and action packed, and had some fabulously unexpected scenes towards the end. Overall, another perfect addition to this series and I now have to wait for the next story lol

Loved the characters and witty banter between them all. Action, adventure, humor, and heat. Isobel has known she was different her whole life. Evidence of her past is hard to come by. She meets Blaise with a bang, and literally knocks him off his feet.

This book was interesting. it served as the second installment in the story of three life-long friends. As with the previous book, there is a lot of backstory. The present day storyline didn’t kick in until about 20% into the book.

Having read Liberty Bell’s story, it was a unique take to then see it from Isobels view. I can’t wait to hear from Daisy!

“Bat Out of Hell” is the eighth story in the Immortal Ops series and within this series it is Book 4, in the Crimson Ops series. It is full of surprises from the beginning until the end!
Each story in the series is a stand alone and the plot is different from most SciFi stories. Although, they can be read alone, I recommend reading them in order. They sizzle, smolder and electrify!!
Blaise Regniger is a six hundred year old vampire who has fae mixed in. His demon is strong and lately he's had to fight harder to keep it from taking over. He fears that soon his demon will take over and he will become the hunted instead of the hunter. Ten years ago there was a fire in a group home. Isobel and her two best friends Liberty and Daisy escaped. They had a horrible childhood and were all survivors of horrible and painful child experiments. Each one gaining some kind of special ability. Blaise arrived at the group home to help with the clean up from the fire, he finds a charm bracelet in the ruins that belongs to Isobel and feels drawn to her but she has been placed elsewhere. He keeps the bracelet…Ummm, his demon was temporarily tamed. LOL
Fast forward, ten years, and we see Isobel, who is now a grown woman and is being hunted by The Corporation as are her friends. Blaise is part of the paranormal ops organization that he and his friends are going to rescue them. Blaise sees a picture during the operation of a young woman who is in danger and she has an immediate pull on his heart. Yes, this is Isobel! They are mates but don't know it at first. She runs him over trying to protect Liberty. What a first meeting that must have been? Wait till you read about it! Turns out Isobel is the only one who can settle his demon. Blaise is a unique vampire. Only one other supernatural knows about his special abilities. Isobel is a Pyro fae and can make fireballs in her hands. The electricity sizzles between them but will Blaise be able to contain his Demon and can Isobel learn to master ability to throw flames?
I love how the PSI guys bicker but have each others backs. And Bill and Gus! What words can begin to describe how intriguing, amusing and important they are? I didn’t think much about them when Mandy Roth introduced us to them but now, I look forward to reading about them and their antics! Bill will keep you in stitches, he along with Gus once again help the group of supernaturals save the day in style and humor!
So much action, HOT shifters, Vampires, Bill, Gus, suspense, romance, hot sizzling sex and LOVE! Mandy M. Roth does an awesome job of pulling the reader in and making it hard to put the book down.

Isobel Gilbert is a genius computer hacker. She’s using her skills to find out about the missing early years of her and her two best friends. Their lives are in danger and their past just may be the cause. Blaise Regneir is a hundreds of years old vampire who works for the Immortal Ops agency of the government. He’s been dealing more and more with his demons both physical and emotional. When Blaise meets Isobel he’ll be run over both in every way possible. Isobel can’t wrap her mind around the new world her and her friends have been thrown into. When Isobel literally runs over Blaise it’s love at first sight. Together they become a Bat Out of Hell of desire and danger.

Bat Out of Hell is the most recent of the Immortal Ops world book by Mandy M Roth. She continues the Crimson Ops miniseries with the story of Blaise a former doctor and vampire with the Crimson Ops division of the Immortal Ops part of the government. A woman put in danger while searching for her past and how she became the way she was. A vampire who's trying to keep the desperation and out of control that seems to be working into his life. An instant attraction and danger combine to take these two people on an adventure that may bring them closer together. Bat Out of Hell has suspense, danger and laugh out loud scenes that will keep the reader entertained throughout the whole book. A glimpse into a secondary character that will have fans of Mandy M Roth wondering more about him and the mystery behind his past. These two main characters find their way to each other and through the danger that is following them. An unexpected character just maybe a lead to the past and charms may help to bring two people together. Bat Out of Hell by Mandy M Roth is a must read for her fans and will keep the reader laughing and wondering about the characters involved. You’ll laugh, and root for these great characters.

I’ve been reading the Mandy M Roth Crimson Ops and Immortal Ops series for a couple of years now, and these are instaread the second they’re released.
In this one, Roth takes a decent amount of time to remind us of previous events given the pandemic and it’s effect on the book’s release date. This came in handy and I enjoyed getting to know all these characters again.
Quick summary, decades ago naughty evil scientists and government types mixed up supernatural genes with military dudes and creates their own army of gifted shoes.
After that, bout twenty five years ago on the time line, more scientists messed with DNA and created or messed with babies.
In this one we meet the three friends - ex experiments - who went through such a childhood but were rescued ten years ago by the Immortal Ops team.
Blaise Regnier, very old vamp, is heading into the darkness which might drag his inner demon out.
Sense is literally knocked into him when he’s brutally run over by gorgeous Goth Isobel, one of the three young women who were rescued as kids. We catch up on Rurik and his mate, Isobel’s friend, and as Blaise, badly injured, tries to recover and woo Isobel, Gus and Bill, the troublemaker Weirdos who have strange powers and bad dress sense, join the chaos.
These guys are a staple of the series and I really want to see them go through a transition into hot guys and struggle to deal with mates.
This is hilarious, sweet, sexy and carries the overall story arc along beautifully.
Can’t wait to see Daisy’s story next and of course, Striker.

Isobel has always felt like an outsider. She loves anything goth and vampire but she doesn't care what others think of her as long as she's got her sister/friend, besties. They not only know each others secrets, they balance each other perfectly. For as long as she can remember, she and her friends have shared the same nightmare. Lately she thinks she might be losing her mind, or is something dark from her past coming for her.
Blaise and his demon have been at odds lately. He can't forget the past because it seems like they keep fighting the same bad guys. Someone is doing unspeakable things to supernatural children, again, and Blaise wants to find them. No, he wants to end them!
While searching through a burned out building, he comes across a scent he's smelled before. He also realizes something evil from long ago has resurfaced.
When an attack forces Isobel to rush to her friends side, she runs into Blaise. Literally. Both soon discover that not only do they have insta-lust for each other but, an ancient enemy is after both of them.
I love Isobel's attitude, she one tough woman! She is just what Blaise needs.
Bill is my favorite!!! While reading, I know my neighbors think I'm playing a laugh-track!
I really like how it picks up where Act of Surveillance had left her before. The ending isn't a cliffhanger yet, it left room to wonder about some things. Just makes me look forward to the next book.
Great characters and story building. Steamy. Funny. HFN

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I have read all of the previous books in this series and the other PSI books so was so excited when Isobel's story was on its way! Isobel, Liberty, and Daisy had such a rough start with first being rescued from evil men who held them as patients in a laboratory then again at the supposedly safe foster home. Each time, they were rescued and then were safe for a time.

You do not have to have read Liberty and Rurik's story to understand this one but it really enhances the book to know what came before with that couple. Along with them, there are the other members of their group who are along to fight the evil Corporation and others from their past that try to mess with their lives and their mates.

This book is action packed and I could not put it down until I finished it! Talk about two people made for each other! Blaise and Isobel were perfect for each other and she is one strong woman who does not go screaming into the night when she encounters the paranormal guys - especially vampires!

Lots of little bits that were revealed in this book that I don't want to give away but wow! All I can say is that I hope that Daisy will be next and wonder if she will be seeing a dragon or horse as her mate or maybe something else!

Another great Mandy M. Roth book!

Another great installment in this world I've come to love. Blaise is OLD, and he's not your typical vampire. He's been struggling for years to control the demon he lives with. He was part of the team that saved the girls from the Corporation twenty-odd years ago. As we found in previous books, the Corporation had a hand in creating mates for operatives ... and it appears Isobel is his.

I was a little disappointed in how quickly these two hook up. Their introduction is one of the best in the series though. Isobel LOVES her car Elvira, and isn't afraid to use her as a weapon to save her friends. She's also been obsessed with vampires since she was a little girl, and turns out to be the perfect mate for Blaise.

The time line in this book is VERY short. Events pick up right at the end of Rurik's book, and are over in the blink of an eye. The teams are still struggling with the moles in the organization ... and they're trying to find a safe house to hole up in. It definitely feels like a transition book. I'm really looking forward to Daisy's book.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Isobel is an absolute pistol, and Blaise has his own secrets. Bill and Gus, once again, play a pretty big part in the book ...

Super bummed the last few new books aren't on audio yet. I miss listening to this series.

Wild Bill and Gus are still causing havoc - this time the Fang Gang are trying to corral him!

I have not laughed out loud at a book in some time. I did get a couple of funny looks at work - trying to explain the insults and the banter between the FG and Bill and Isabel was beyond me, IYKYK!

Isabel is like that kickbutt female we all want to be - she takes no prisoners and will run you over with a car to save her friends, literally! She may love all things Vamp but learning that they are very real and very smexy, with a weird possessive vibe that she seems not to worry about! Poor Blaise doesn't really stand a chance against this force of nature!

Blaise is a tad slow on the uptake with learning who his mate is - but I blame recovering from a "car accident" for that lol. He just stumbles from one oral disaster to another by sticking his foot in his mouth, his dry spell seems to have affected his seduction skills lol.

The book does span a short space of time and it is fairly full on. Wild Bill and Gus steal the show just about - we really need a prequel with these two or for them to get a HEA, although who could handle Bill????? Daisy seems to have been having a time of it and I can't wait to see what happened to her and a certain dragon!

Finally, the dark and handsome vampire gets his story.
Blaise Regnier has been around for a very long time, watching his friends and co workers find their mates has him wondering.
Isobel Gilbert and her two best friends Liberty and Daisy had a horrible childhood. They were all survivors of horrible and painful child experiments. Each one gaining some kind of special ability.
Blaise is joined by a few other special ops to find three girls who happen to be of interest to the group who performed secret experiments on children.
Lots of great moments in this book and our favorite character Bill will keep you in stitches, he along with Gus once again help the group of supernaturals save the day in style.
Come along on another adventure with a few groups of hot shifters and vamps as well as Bill and Gus.
A journey that will make you want to start from the beginning and read them all over again.

Blaise & Isobel

He's hot, dangerous, and part of the OPS --The Fang Gang team. He's on the line with his demon pushing him. How long he can maintain control is a constant worry. Their mission to protect three females will surprise them when all is revealed.

She's been a team with her two besties--they all were experimented on as kids. They don't know much of their past or how to use the changes made to them. She's also a Vampire fanatic.

The storyline is tight, involves good guys, bad guys, action, surprises revealed, and some teases for the reader. Characters from previous stories will delight the reader who has read past books and will be new favorites to new fans. The guys are all super-hot-dangerous heroes. Listening to their banter shows they not only respect each other but love teasing each other. Always a fun time with the Ops guys.

I loved the book and highly recommend it as well as following the advice of reading Act of Surveillance (PSI-Ops), Rurik and Liberty’s story.

Another winner from Ms. Roth--Thanks for such reading enjoyment.

This latest entry of the Immortal Ops series features Isobel Gilbert and Blaise Regnier. Isobel is a survivor of the labs of the Corporation along with her friends Liberty and Daisy. She is very goth and is a genius with computers and has the ability to start fires. As long as she can remember she has been obsessed with vampires. Blaise is a centuries old vampire. He has lived many lives, mostly in some aspect of the field of medicine, but at the moment is a member of Crimson Ops or the Fang Gang, a division of Psy Ops. He is assigned to help another agent, Rurik, a bear shifter. Rurik has found his mate, but so has the Corporation, and his only allies at the moment are Gus and Wild Bill.
I love this series, especially when members of the Fang Gang are involved. Isobel and Blaise have explosive chemistry, and the action and excitement in this story never stops. Isobel and her two best friends are full of surprises and Gus and Wild Bill provide excellent comic relief.
The Corporation is far from finished yet, and I can’t wait to see who and what is in store for Daisy.

#4 of the Crimson Ops side storyline series. It happens about the same time as Immortal Ops #7 ‘Act of Surveillance’. Loved it, but all the vamp references are over the top. Isobel is a very troubled young lady.

Ten years ago, Isobel Gilbert had been rescued with other children from an underground laboratory who’d been experimenting on them. She and her best friends Liberty and Daisy later survived a massive fire at the group home they were at as teens. Now they’re university students, sharing an apartment and trying to control their powerful, but erratic powers. Isobel can start fires with her mind, but is also a genius hacker working for the university in exchange for 100% tuition.

Intending to rescue the children at the group home, Blaise and his partners had arrived too late at the fire to know what happened to the children or even if any survived. But he got a strange sense of a past familiarity when going through the ashes.
Fave scenes: Blaise finding the bracelet, Isobel running into Blaise, Bill roasting marshmallows and Auberi wanting to drive Elvira.

Blaise has finally met his match.
He might be over 600 years old but now Fate has done cooked his goose when he meets Isobela, a present-day gothic girl who stands up to Blaise in a toe-to-toe meeting via her faithful Elvira. As with all the previous PSI series drama abounds, along with quips and cameo appearances of a previous characters such as Auberi of the Fang Gang and others to boot. Blaise has fought his darker side for so long he seems enticed to cross over (because he's tired of fighting what seems to be a losing battle) but a fortuitous rescue of 3 victims of The Corporation's horrendous experiments and the above-mentioned meeting with Elvira leads to a suspenseful HEA for almost all. Oh, and I can't forget to mention Bill and Gus; those idiosyncratic humans (or are they really) add their labeling of great nicknames to these characters; like "Is-it-a-belt" for guess who. Love this series

This is such an awesome series and I absolutely love the characters. Blaise is a six hundred year old vampire who has fae mixed in. His demon is strong and lately he's had to fight harder to keep it from taking over. Then he sees a picture of a young woman who is in danger and she has an immediate pull on his heart. Ten years ago there was a fire in a group home. Isobel and her three friends escaped but she lost her charm bracelet. She had a fascination with vampires from an early age and her bracelet reflected it. Oddly enough Blaise found it and had it made into two earrings. Isobel is now a grown woman and is being hunted by The Corporation. Blaise is part of the paranormal ops organization and he and his friends go to rescue her. Turns out she's his mate and the only one who can settle his demon down. The story is spellbinding and I couldn't stop reading.

Bat Out of Hell:An Immortal Ops World Novel (Crimson Ops Series Book 4)- Mandy Roth

Blaise is a 600 year old vampire who is in the Crimson ops (Fang Gang) and in this story he finally finds his mate although its through a lot of trails until they find each other.
Isabel lives with her friends who also have some unique abilities, hers if being able to create fire. She and her friends escaped the corporation years ago and were together in an home. Of course there is instant chemistry and a strange pull towards each other.
They live across the street from some crazy character that make this series fun and adventurous, especially from Bill and Gus. Suddenly many coincidences make sense and the challenges towards an HEA are entertaining, fun, drama, and appearances from several awesome characters from this world complete the experience.

Another great book by the author! Gosh, this one sucked me in right away and I thoroughly enjoyed it!! The narrator D.C. Cole is fantastic. He’s very skilled at keeping the listener engaged and using a very wide array of tones and inflections is amazing. This story follows Blaise and his journey to find his mate and to help rescue helpless children. I really came to like him and Isobel. Isobel’s friends are great and I’m so happy to see them stick together. They are really a great group of gals. The story does move at a quick pace in terms of romance, but I throughly enjoyed the entire book. I missed Bill, that heckler. He is hilarious and I’m so happy to see him again in this book.
This series can be read as a stand-alone but I’d recommend to start from the beginning to get the backstory. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the Crimson Ops world!

This is the next book in the series and features Blaise the sexy but troubled Vampire and Isobel the best friend of Liberty Isobel is known for starting fires with her hands when she gets extremely upset which she finds hard to control but she is the best person to have in your corner. Her first meeting with Blaise is hitting him with Elvira aka her car. Blaise has been obsessed with Isobel for 20 years without realizing who she is. You have to read the story to understand This is a quick paced story but incredibly detailed. It’s best to read the other books in the series to understand what the exactly going on but it still a great read. Waiting on the next book to see what happens next.

I was given a copy of the book for a honest review.

This is the fourth book in the Crimson Ops Series. I love this series! Blaise and Isobel's story is fast-paced, action packed and suspenseful. The characters are amazing. Blaise is a fantastic and complex character. He is a vampire, with a demon inside him. He is hot! Isobel is a strong and wonderful character. The cast of supporting characters is impressive. I liked Liberty and Daisy, Isobel's friends. The three of them are gifted. The other Immortal Team members Rurik, Bill, and Gus, are handsome, and supportive. The storyline is funny, steamy, and captivating, filled with danger and mystery. I love the humor in the story. This is my favorite story in the series, and I enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed pretty boy Blaise. He got a good licking in in this one. Not that he didn’t deserve some of it. I think I enjoyed this book more because it is part of a series that I have already been reading. However, I hadn’t too much time between the last one and had to play a little memory catch up. I was happy that Isobel had her friends growing up as she really did not have a sweet childhood. The fact that these three girls are causing trouble with the elite Immortal Ops made me snort giggle. And with a side of Bill and Gus to boot! Isobel was perfect for Blaise. I can’t wait to see their future trouble. If you haven’t started these books, you really need to. If you have, then you need to nab this one.

We find out a lot of previously unknown information about Blaise in Bat Out of Hell. The rest of the Teams have always teased him about being in his cups to much and the side effects, but nobody saw any of this coming! What's this you ask? You really need to read the book to catch up on the latest! Then there is Isobel, a straight shootin female version of Blaise, of sorts. Her and her two besties, one of which we already learned was Rurik's mate, share a 24 hour day like no others. A great addition to the Crimson Ops lineup!

Totally worth the wait. Love getting to know the fang gang better. Blaise and Isobel burned hot, not just in a pun way! Absolutely loved the story. The interactions between all the Ops members were so well written and the humour is in a class of its own. The ongoing issues with The Corporation and the Asia project, keep the plots intertwining and become even more engrossing. Bill steals the show as always but what I love is Mandy’s ability to write Scottish dialect and turns of phrase, she is a master at this. You need to be caught up with the series to understand to goings on and comings and goings so what are you waiting for, get reading!

Blaise omg I have been waiting for his book forever lol. I have loved him since we were introduced to the crimson ops and wow he did not disappoint. Blaise and Isobel were explosive together and I couldn't have chosen a better match for them they were perfect for each other and it was so obvious. This is by far my favorite crimson ops book and my third favorite of the Immortal ops world and given some of the books that have been released this being my third favorite says something lol. I cannot wait for the next book because there is still a crimson ops who needs a mate and it has been long overdue given that he has been in almost everyone's book haha.
