I have been waiting for this story since the first book! I was not disappointed. I liked how much different the characters were in comparison to Striker and Wren. Rexx is grumpier and more serious, protective and calculating, with a darker history filled with pain. Daisy, on the other hand, is his exact opposite, always optimistic, happy and compassionate. In this story, we get to see them trying to get rid of an alien technology implanted in Daisy by the Gente, which is designed to change the personality of the host and make them susceptible to one's influence. This book is fast-paced, action-packed and steamy. 4 stars from me because at some point the characters' self-pity about not being worthy of each other due to their past is repetitive and a little frustrating.

Rexx will guard and protect her with his life. Apexians are an alien race that humans work with. Rexx and the other males like him work on the Apocalypse. They work in teams to find and collect animals on planets. The animals have been hunted to almost extinction and their job is to make sure they find a safe home and prosper. Daisy loves her job and is good at finding the animals. But something in her past is about to change everything. Rexx will break rules to protect her even when she may try to kill him. Will they both realize what everyone else sees? They are perfect together in more than one way.

I enjoyed reading this 📚, it has a good storyline. The interaction and chemistry between the characters of Daisy and Iced is great, this book is entertaining and action packed. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

I always enjoy anything written by Arcadia Shield. The books are for ever good reading, interesting and intriguing. Also loaded with hot Alien and hot sex. 2nd book in series was just as good as 1st one.

Daisy is not feeling well and her work partner is very worried. Rexx forces Daisy to get checked and she has alien tech in her body from her capture by the gente. Rexx decides Daisy is safer with him and the bloody adventures begin.

For Love of Daisy
I adored Rexx, Daisy and their furry family. It was kind of scary when they found out what was going on with Daisy and her illness. But Rexx was a true gem and definitely a keeper. He wasn’t going to rest until he found a cure. I loved it!
