Rick Terrien learned the lessons of entrepreneurship very early while selling newspapers car-to-car at stoplights during grade school. He hasn’t stopped creating new business opportunities since.
Since age 45, Rick has demonstrated the ageless model, launching 6 new enterprises, both for-profit and non-profit.

As an innovator, inventor, and business developer with nine U.S. and foreign patents in industrial fluid recycling, his designs have recovered tens of millions of gallons of oil worldwide that were previously lost as wastewater. The author tried his best to bring unique points supported with data on the positive sides of initiating the entrepreneurial venture for people above the age of 45. Some of his arguments and statistics may positively surprise you if you are about 50 and contemplating on a startup.
Rick Terrien’s ideas on how, why and what are good in the initial chapters. But then I felt it to be the same thing repeated over and over again. Those who have served in high positions in the corporate world, to start something very small with bootstrapping may not go well with most of them. He suggests to make a smooth transition from working for someone else to working for yourself but without.
Personally I was not very pleased with his US centric stories and data. All the QnA were very monotonous and uninteresting. Finally its just about ok for those who are planning to start something new of their own. It may serve another straw for your proposed nest.
