It’s another typical day in the life of Ms. Aggie Underhill… An ATM going bonkers shooting out wads of cash, a shady bank owner with a nasty habit, two teenage bank robbers, a picture perfect teller and her thug of a boyfriend, plus two unexplained murders. Naturally curious, Aggie can’t help but be nosy. Despite the warning from her daughter to mind her own business, Aggie takes detective matters through the world of gossip into her own hands. If you like sassy, independent, crime solving women then you’re in for a treat. You’ll love the Ms. Aggie Underhill Mysteries.
Michelle Ann Hollstein resides in Southern California with her two wonderful children and her spoiled pup, Dougal. She’s the author of the quirky and comical Aggie Underhill Mysteries, the Fantasy Trilogy, The Niberia Chronicles, the paranormal romance mystery series, A Lost Souls Novel, and the new nonfiction series, Who Says You Can’t Paint?
I enjoyed this book, were everything is not as it seems. The story is told by multiple characters but this is needed as the lives are all weaved together and what should be a complex case is nicely laid out and solved by Aggie. Despite knowing the characters and what part they played in the lead up to solving both the bank robbery and the murder, the author still managed to throw in a few surprises and connections I didn't see coming. It is an unusual plot line and most of the action and drama takes place at the bank but with so much going on it was captivating and I enjoyed it the whole way through, especially as the story is solely focussed on the connections with the people involved. It even had me chuckling in a few places. This is the first book by this author I have listened too but if the others are as good as this one it won't be my last. When Aggie goes in to the bank to open a saving account for her grandson, she instead finds herself another mystery to solve. While there she over hears talk about a murder of the security guard which pipes her interest. At the same time two teenage boys try to rob the bank and a lady tries to return money that doesn't belong to her. What is going on at her bank? Aggie is determined to find out. I liked the narrator. She did a lot of different voices to bring the characters to life and even have Aggie and her daughter English accents. I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Another great Aggie Underhill cozy mystery! This time, Aggie becomes involved in a murder and bank robbery while innocently attempting to open a savings account for her grandson. Of course, with her natural curiosity (dare I say nosiness?), you know that she will quickly solve this intricate web of unlawfulness!
This book (as well as the other in the series) is full of quirky characters, twists and interconnections that you won't see coming and Aggie's signature pocketbook! The descriptions of the many characters really bring them to life and the reader can almost see them as they are introduced. The author has created a wonderful character in Aggie and anytime I'm in the mood for a fun, entertaining and well-written cozy mystery, I know that this series will not disappoint!
The narrator for the audiobook does a fantastic job and her various voices with their distinctive accents and personalities really bring this book to life.
Deadly Withdrawal. I have listened to the audio version of this book. This is a very humorous Cozy type mystery from Michelle Ann Hollstein, There are plenty of quirky characters committing numerous crimes including murder and bank robbery, it's up to Aggie Underhill to sort them all out. A detective who doesn't want to be there and a Lovesick cop who's pants seem to have a mind of their own don't have much idea! this all helps add up to a very engaging story. Dana Allen, a new narrator on the block it seems is wonderfully talented and with her numerous accents and voices helps make what is a good story excellent. Highly Recommended light listen. I look forward to listening to more books by both the author and narrator in future.

Loved the narration from Dana Allen, brings this wonderful cozy mystery to your ears.
Aggie is expecting an easy and simple visit to the local bank to open a savings account for her grandson. But you know nothing goes as well as one wants. Aggie is there a police detective is murdered in the back room and two kids come in to rob the bank at gunpoint. Loved Aggie's pocketbook.
This book is full of wonderful characters, twists and turns that you can not see coming. You know Aggie will go and find who is the murderer and robbers are.
Plot was good, a little wordy, to keep all what was happening. Aggie was good, quirky, trying to talk herself out the mess she had gotten into with returning money to the bank. The more she tried, the deeper of a mess she got into. Decided she would try to solve.the murder. The second book I enjoyed more.
The narrator does a great job with all the different character voices, but all the repetition and wandering around really makes the storytelling hard to follow.
A light fun mystery. Middle aged, rich and nosey. Aggie Underhill investigates. A fabulous lead character, witty dialogue and the perfect narrator make this a must listen
The premise of the book intrigued me because it was a mystery told by more then one voice. However, it just wasn't well written and just end up being really corny.
