This is the one I was trying to read, and I think it is better than Martin Lings, because there is real substance in this one. It's the only one I borrowed that was not glossy, so it is relatively light and portable although it is A4 size. There are only about 30 pages of text and they form a very readable introduction to the scripts - lots of scripts - in time and place.
