Omg what an explosive book wow just wow

Well what can I say about this book other than wow, while I currently pick up pieces of my brain and my heart off the floor.

While we see Amelie back in Australia at the start of the book. With the arrival of Sawyer to take her back to Knox academy, we see Amelie go through many mind blowing twists and some heartbreaking turns, but also plenty of hot moments too.
The character of Amelie is such a strong woman that you see her face her problems head on and fight for the answers shes looking for, the characters of Sawyer, Kalen, Onyx and Slate are each hot and totally great characters each in their own way. We get to see each if them realise that they cant live without Amelie but they all work through that in different ways. To then all come together at the end of the book in such an epic explosive way that will leave you hanging to your sanity waiting for book 3. So its good to see that their will be a 2.5 book in between to hold us over.
If you've not picked up this book or started this series get to it today it will blow you away.

Coming soon to KU soon (September 30)! This is my review for the ARC.

This is so good. I just want the next book now... I am obsessed with this series and with these characters. Oh, and that ending! What just happened?!! Not Onyx! Well, not any of the others either.

Can I just say I kinda love Baxter? You too? Good. And Camilla? Need to know more. Is there a reunion happening? Maybe she will get rid of the incubator. Wonder if she is aware how she's been treating Amelie. I sure hope not.

There's so much to unpack in this one and honestly I'm still processing. Again need that next book so bad!

After that brilliant cliffhanger ending of book 1 this book picks up the pace where that one left off. Forced back to Knox Academy Amelie (FMC) doesnt find the warmest welcomes on her return. A school chock full of students that are out for blood and a family that she doesnt trust. At the forefront of that are Sawyer, Slate, Onyx and Kalen. With a lot to make up for to Amelie. With so many lies, secrets, plot twists and turns it certainly keeps you on your toes. My god is it a series you cant help but be gripped by. From start to finish. I dont think theres any of the main characters i dont like. I have to say that Baxter is a favourite. Hes definitely got it all going on!! Another cliffhanger ending?? This one completely threw me but boy was it a goody. Bring on book 3 because im dying to my hands on it now!!!

***OG summary posted in book 1 review, same overall breakdown for all (4) books below***

So book two has Amelie coming back from Australia, with Sawyer, weighed down with some new information about what really happened with her prank, and hiding her knowledge of who really did the prank.

Sawyer is the first one forgiven, no real surprise, he was just a duck and had a small attitude but never really did anything to her, more like just being her rock.

The other three, for pretending to or either actually threatening her with, (does it matter which?) gang rape in order to re-traumatize her for some child bullshit with their mom that she didn’t even really do…yeah she does forgive them. All.

However, let’s talk about that in a min. First off, she left the school hella fucked up as she blasted everyone with what everyone else did to get admitted to that school in the first place. So needless to say, peeps are pissed, like super pissed. Rightfully so, you can’t just dox people Amelie… 🙄

So, safe to say many people are after her for payback, even the guys want to, but know they “fucked up” before she left and can forgive her to make it “even”……🤮

Kalen is essentially the first she forgives, cause of his literal and figurative puppy dog ways, and some pizza of course… he is still a child, acting like he is 5 and still has a monster cock and still likes to call her sister when they fuck. So…yeah

Slate is next on the forgiveness scale, but both are too stubborn 🤡, so yea know. When he finally caves first and wants to meet her, grandpa Knox has other ideas and sends him on a mission, so his twin shows up in his place to be funny. She’s drunk and doesn’t know that, so when slate watches them hook up, (which as soon as she figured out in her hungover state that it was Onyx, she stopped it and was angry), either way Slate boo gets his feelings hurt and backs off.

The only reason she forgave Onyx? He got shot. By a muscle douche. Moving on.

As said students are angry at her, she is attacked by a male rapist, who only chokes her and kicks her a bunch, then later gets his shit recked by Onyx, who watched it happen in the shadows. Onyx also supplied her with pepper spray, taser and a rape whistle (in a school of criminals who hater her?? Who the fuck is going to help her 🤡🤡). He also watched her be attacked this first time, didn’t step in, because “she needs to want our help, which she won’t ask for until she forgives us, so let’s just watch”. These are your choice in men?? There isn’t enough clown emojis for this review. I swear. Later she is attacked, while drunk off her ass, walking alone in a cavern from a party, without her security or a single bf and gets targeted by a group of guys who want to gang rape her and film it. She pukes so they leave. The whole time she trash talked them, but cries any time her men hurt her feelings ❓🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩

Need I say more? Girl, bye.

Overall? 1
Plot? 2 (bk1), 2 (bk2), 1 (bk2.5), 0 (bk3)
Spice? 2 all the way
Char Dev? Where? 0…nah 1, for Susan.
Cheating? No, but fuck if there should have been
HEA? Wouldn’t give a fuck but maybe
Triggers? Yeah, drugs, alcohol, sexual assault, ptsd, re-trauma, parental abuse, age gap
Tropes? Reverse harem, but shouldn’t have been, crime organization, enemies to lovers to enemies to lovers to wtf? High school bully sort of, shitty guys, poor excuse of a heroine.

Uh, huh?

Amelie is so all over the place with her feelings and suddenly a pro at everything thrown at her, it’s it’s like visual whiplash.

Her “harem” is ridiculous.
Kalen, sweet funny Kalen is one of the reasons I keep reading. Their banter is funny. He’s the typical blonde haired playboy who shows no actual playboy tendencies.
Slate our broody musician.
Onyx mr dark and broody
Sawyer, gag. Instalove ex teacher hopelessly devoted to our h.

We literally have very little backstory on our characters and their relationship with the h, bits and pieces but come on! Where is the depth? I’m a sucker for smut with a story but this lacks both.

Baxter should steal her away and they can go make little psycho babies. He’s the real hero here.

I was so excited to read this book after the massive cliffhanger on first book. It was so worth the wait.

Book 2 starts out with Ameile back in Australia with her family when Sawyer shows up and forces her to come back to the Knox Academy. However, after the fallout of the last book being at Knox Academy is now a dangerous place for Ameile and the students now want revenge. The only people who offer her help are the one's she doesn't trust anymore. This book is an absolute roller coaster of emotions with suspense, romance, mystery and drama and poor Ameile just wants to make it out of the Academy alive and find out what everyone is hiding.

I loved this book! Amelie and her boys, Sawyer, Onyx, Slate, and Kalen, are an explosive, volatile mix of kicka$$ and sexy. And I want so much more of Baxter! There are so many twists and turns in this Series and be warned there is a bit of a cliffhanger to get you salivating for Book #3. If you enjoy Why Choose, hot bullying Alphas, strong feisty heroines, tons of angst and intrigue, and a fast paced storyline, then F**k Off should leave you happy and wanting more! 5 Stars!

Ahhh! This book was so good!! Hooked me from start to finish! That cliff though! 😱💔😭

So much mystery, suspense, secrets! For every truth/secret revealed, new questions come with it. Love the multi POV! It offers so much more depth and insight to these characters, who are incredibly layered. I love seeing their growth journey. I flove Amelie (the FMC)! She has been an understated badass, full of sass, humor, and resilience and now showing outer strength, cunning, and fierce determination - and I love seeing her come into her own. I'm hard core rooting for Amelie and am loving her journey. I also love that she has formed positive, supportive bestie relationships beyond the lust/hate/love relationships with the Hs.

Oh, the Hs... 🤤🤤🔥🔥🔥🔥 The chemistry is off the charts! The connection between Amelie and each H has forged in a different way, and each has a unique fit and complement between them. And I so love the broken characters who heal together trope 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Right now my emotions are all over the place and my head 🤯 I could not pre-order Term 2.5 or 3 fast enough.

Really liked it.

I wish Amelie had put up more resistance about going back to England (I mean, she just said "f*ck it, let's go" because she was angry at her family...).

What annoyed me about her guys was that they were dead set on making her part of The Order without even giving her any information about it (I know, it's either don't tell our secrets or f*cking die), but I think they put her in even more danger by doing that since they knew shady things were going on...

Amelie has that fight or flight insinct when she's emotionally distressed: she seems to always choose flight. That's what happened in book 1 and what also happened in book 2. Hopefully, this time, Slate and Kalen will get to her before anything happens to her.

Already pre-ordered book 2.5 and 3 and I can't wait to read them!

Boring

Sorry, I just couldn't get into this second book. The first was long and drawn out but I wanted to give this one a chance. Just couldn't do it. The main character Amelie is supposed to be so strong, until she's not, most of the time. Story just couldn't hold my interest to find out about this secret order. Who cares? I sure don't.

Nope. Just nope.
I guess I was hoping for this book to be about her forgetting them and moving on happily with her family.
And a few pages in, my hopes I’ve been crushed and I’m already pissed.
No point pissing myself more, it can only get downhill from here.

Crystal North and Jaye Pratt co-write together so amazingly. I can never tell who writes which parts in their books, they flow and transition that well. The first book in this series was crazy and unbelievable, but this 2nd installment was mind blowing and suspenseful. Amelie is probably one of my favorite characters because you never know what to expect from her. She may seem weak at times, but you really see her flourish in this book. She shows such determination, strength, and intelligence that many don't expect from her, especially because she is a woman or they think they think she is completely clueless about the situation she is in. I like it when characters surprise you like that, when they make decisions that are least expected of them. After the ending of the last book I didn't know what to expect with the progression of the series because the guys had so much to make up for and things seemed to have been escalating quite quickly into the dangerous and unknown territory. There was still so much that was hidden about the academy and the order that the men were involved in. I was glad to get some answers about that in this book, but, man, was it intense and unexpected. There is so much more going on than I believed, so much more story there left to unfold. It honestly leaves you feeling confused on who to trust and who is playing on what side. Who is considered the "bad guy", although that becomes even more clear as the story gets closer to the end...but there is just so much to absorb. It's nuts and I love it. And yes, there's another cliffhanger. I don't know what you'd expect from these two authors. They just leave you wanting more. Enough said. Book three is bound to be amazing.

This series seriously sucks you in!

At the end of the first book we left Amelie boarding a flight back to Oz after leaving the files of everyones crimes pinned up in the school as revenge, sure she wouldn't be returning after that.....

.... Sadly it takes more than that to be expelled. Sawyer turns up to escort her back mere days after. After an upsetting time home, she's actually relieved to be leaving there for now.

But she returns to some pissed off school mates and these aren't the kind of school mates you want on the bad side. She is still upset and angry with the 3 younger knox brothers and refuse their help of chaperoning... Not a good idea as she's targeted again and again before school even starts....

The brothers refuse to give up on Amelie and keep pushing for forgiveness. Bit by bit they chop away at her walls and bring them down.
Its around now she's starting to learn about The Order and beginning the nasty initiation to be a member.

Grandfather knox is dead set against women in the order so the fact that amelia is not only due to be in it but also one of the heads.... He does a variety of things to attempt to prevent her progressing.

The boys and even baxter show their true colours and it's good to see Amelie is no longer alone. However, she may have more family than she realises....and the one in Australia may not be as clear cut as she believed.

Pieces are starting to fit together that shows who Amelie is and why she's there. It's a slow build, but a perfect build, as it gives us chance to get them all thru school and to see the process of their relationship.

The cliffhanger on this one...... Aaaaarrrggghhh!!!!! Noooooo!!!!! Say it ain't so!!! Om not saying any more but I need to read the next book but alas, it has to wait!!!!

Picked this book up again after having left it on my TBR.

This second book in the series continues on the drama between Amerlie and ‘The Order’
The four guys
Sawyer
Slate
Kalen
Onyx
Are planning a takeover of ‘The Order’ by getting the votes of the founding families.
This appears to be on the cards once they discover further information about Amerlie’s background.

Apparently she is the daughter of not ONE, but TWO of the families
Rossi, and Kessler.

Yep!
Her awful mother Laura, that she was sent to live with in the UK isn’t her REAL MOTHER!
So, while they manoeuvre her into becoming a founding families member of The Order.
She try’s to find out more about the groups secrets.

All while delving into the usual RH storyline fair with her and the four guys working out their group dynamic’s re: sex…and MORE SEX,

We even get the obligatory multiple partner moment as Amerlie finds herself “stuffed between a twin sandwich”.

Thus, eventually leading us up to the explosive (?) cliffhanger ending
told through multiple character POV’s guaranteed to make your head spin.

As RH novels go, this one, plot wise, wasn’t bad.

However there is always a risk that the author/s getting SO excited over all the hotness of the male characters that they have developed that they become too engrossed in the multiple seXual relationships, and the actual plot gets pushed to the side,
This did happen at times in this book, so much so I began to know exactly when there was another hook up due.

Interesting ending, in some ways, saved this story for me, otherwise it was becoming RH by the numbers.
Be interesting to see if the authors will be courageous and allow a main characters demise…
Somehow, I think we will have the safer option..Pity!
Most interesting character for me?
Baxter

Twisting the ties that bind

Jaye Pratt and Crystal North F*ck Off was like do freaking amazing. I starting to worry that Amelia was never going to drop her walls back down after the boys screwed up. And I know they seriously messed up but still....

With our snarky bad a** friend Amelia I knew book two was going to be another bomb shell. She will put anyone and everyone in there place. She takes no crap. She can love you and still tell you to shut your mouth. Especially if you screw her over. And the boys are good at it.

Mad points for the puppy for Kalen!! Have to say think she's taken it kinda ready on Sawyer even though he sounds hot. The other guys are definitely having to work for it. Yet again not that they do not deserve it. Residually the twins. But it's clear that they ALL love the cray out of her. And it's clear that she is madly in love with all of them. They just have to quit fighting it and work together.

So glad that she started the tests for the Order so maybe just maybe there can be less lies between her and the boys. Especially if she really will be the leader one day. Speaking of the order their grandpa is douche canoe like no other.

Last scene broke my heart for all the characters.... Especially for Slate, O and Amelia 🥺

UGH I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT TWO BOOKS 😳😳

If you are looking for a book with steamy steamy love scenes, snarky sass, betrayal, humor, mafia like culture, mystery, blood, violence, love, lies, secrets and family this is your book!!

PLEASE READ IN ORDER!! 🥺🥺

Okay, so this was WAY better than the first book! Things become more dangerous, steamy, and bloody as more secrets are spilled and hidden agendas come to light. I liked that we dig deeper into The Order and Amelie’s heritage and the new characters that were introduced. If you think you’re ready for all of the feels that these authors can throw at you, you’re completely wrong, but you should dive in anyway.
I loved that we got to meet Amelie’s family and see her back in Australia even if it was just a glimpse. Amelie mostly gave the guys hell after being forced back to Knox Academy and I’m glad that she didn’t just fall back into their laps like a puppy right away. There is definitely more relationship development between her and the Knox boys instead of just instalust or revenge. I loved the multiple POV because it made it easier to understand each character and their actions than just seeing it through Amelie’s eyes. Elsie is still my favorite character, but Branson and Jasper are becoming a close seconds.
Crystal and Jaye, I absolutely hate you both for that ending. I’m sitting here bawling my eyes out and I need to know what happens next. I figured since the last book didn’t really end on a cliffhanger, this one wouldn’t either and I would be safe, but no. It’s not okay, but you should both know that I really love y’all and I’ll wait however long I need to... but please be sooner than 2021 if possible.

In her mind she's free of them all, but in reality that's far from the truth.

When the door is opened and there stands her ex teacher reality dawns.

What she did, didnt give her freedom it gave her a target on her back instead.

This is the second installment in the Knox academy trilogy, and picks up from where we left at the end of term one.

From the moment she's back at the academy this book kicks up a gear and the action comes flying left right and centre.

If you blink you might miss something, it's that kind of read.

The order of snaidhm is very much at the heart of this read, and I loved uncovering the truth of it all.

Secret societies are always so cloak and dagger, exciting and dangerous and oh my all the above is nothing but the truth.

The knox boys continued to disarm the battle armour worn around my heart as they proved their worth. Don't get complacent around them though, for they are so much more than just schoolboys.

Amelie is a fantastic character. She has an inner strength that you cant help but admire. She's a tough cookie through and through.

Put her in the same room with the boys and sparks are guarenteed to fly! it's like watching a firework display!

This book is the real deal, and gives you everything you need in a read. Action, adventure, sauce and sass.

Sit back, and enjoy the ride, I know I certainly did!

Oh Amelie! You’re in so much good trouble!

Wow! F*ck Off was fantastic! Kudos to Crystal North for creating such wonderfully entertaining and engaging characters and embroiling them in a heart-stopping mystery. This term was nonstop action for Amelie and her men.

Let’s begin with the groveling. I loved that Amelie wanted the guys to atone for what they put her through during the first term. And that she was committed to making them atone even while getting what she needed (and wanted) from them.

I’m still a fan of Sawyer and Kalen is rapidly becoming one of my favorites as well. He has such a playful and loving personality even if he can be ruthless. Slate is so soulful. Onyx is trying my patience but is also slowly melting my heart.

Baxter, aka Batman, is so sexy. I admit it. I’m enamored. He’s both sensual and dangerous and I like it. Elsie is a great BFF. And Mo-mo! Too cute. Oh, and I’d be remiss if I don’t mention the delectable Jasper and Frost. I need personal security like that.

I love the way these characters are written and their unique voices. This story is filled with intrigue, steam, and humor in all the right places! So good. I can’t wait for the next term.

F*ck Off is the second book in Knox Academy Trilogy. It picks up where the first left off, with Amelie back in Australia. I've said it before in my review for book #1 that I wished she'd leave the Knox guys and never look back, but of course, we wouldn't have a trilogy if that was the case, so I'll suck it up.

Amelie didn't have any real development as a character besides being turned into Lara Croft somehow. Her decisions continue to be mostly bad, and I keep wishing that she'd stand her ground more. Sawyer is the better character in regards to making right decisions and following his heart, and I honestly think that Amelie doesn't deserve him because he is too good for her. Slate grew on me a little, his past haunts him and connects him with Amelie in another level. Kalen did the most groveling, I think, but I'm still not sure if it was nearly enough. Onyx continues to be the guy I like and hate the most because of how quickly he changes his mind, though by the end of the book he got me hooked in his web, not gonna lie. And yes, Baxter is still my number one even if he's just a secondary character. He does get a couple of POVs and I giggled like a teenager reading his chapters. I want more of Bax, and I want it now!

4/5 stars.

These books are a 3 star for me. They are decent, but i will not be teying to talk my friends into reading this series. I like most of the plot, but sometimes the rules of the organization (secret society) dont make any sense. Its like the author is just writing random things for the sake of adding mkre pages!
And as much as i like the mmcs, i dont really like the fmc! She's selfish and reallu doeant care when she hurts her men.
Not to spoil anything, she the fmc (Amelie), does something to make one of the mmc lose his job, somethibg he loves and never really apologizes for it! One of the mmcs has ADHD, and is super hyper, and she complains that he gives her a headache and that she needs time away from him. Um no, they knly just started dating! If he annoys her so much, maybe they shoudnt be together!
She always runs at the slightest bit or conflict, sonhow is she supposed to be the next leader of a secret society!! Ugh, she just drives me crazy and wish the guys had picked Elsie (Amelies bff) instead. She was a much better human. I know it would not have made sense for the story as Amelie is the fmc, but its hard to get into a book or series when you dont like the fmc!!
