Fast-paced Suspense

Great storytelling, well developed characters and a quick pace made for an exciting ride (on a nuclear submarine)! It was such an awesome read, that I finished it much quicker than anticipated.

It's not often that I can read a book and resonate with the characters and have a camaraderie with what's going on with the book. I built a real deep connection with the book storytelling because I'm a Navy veteran of the Gulf War. although I was on a aircraft carrier, my fiance was on a submarine lol! I really enjoyed the story, reading all about the adventure and a lot of the self -introspection of the characters. right out of the gate of the book the author really captures the character on his journey. I can't lie and say I did not have some PTSD moments reading the story. I understood a lot of the jargon and I really did love the characters and how a lot of it was just easy to understand and the adventure was just so enjoyable. The drama and the romance was with a spiritual awakening of a new meaning of purpose.

Astounding and awesome !!

Another breathtaking book by my favorite author! The stories of Jason and Sarah, other important characters such as the President of US, his chief of staff and more such people whose lives were touched in a profound way by Jason are told in a simple yet heartwarming manner that it just was not possible for the reader to put the book away for anything in life!

The book kept me immersed in it until the last word on the last page and I rejoiced to know that Bogie gifted his highly treasured Crucifix to Jason.

Thank you for yet another Masterpiece, Michael Agliolo!!!

Couldn't put it down!

Jason and Sarah have unique abilities. Jason saves lives and Sarah has dreams where she sees the future. I love these kinds of books. Paranormal light.

When Jason saves the President's life, he gets sent on a special mission to help the country. He learns about top secret things and gets the "Presidential security clearance". Between his natural capabilities and Sarah's abilities, they serve their country. The President is overly grateful.

Can't wait for the next one!

The Empath - Michael Agliolo
Jason Marino has the ability to heal others by merely touching their hands and taking on there pain. Sarah has the ability to see events in her dreams take place before they actually happen. The President of the U.S. informs his citizens that he had stage 4 cancer and nothing could actually be done. Jason & Sarah bound for D.C. to help heal the President. In doing so both Sarah & Jason find themselves on a top secret mission to avert disaster to the U.S.
This book was fascinating! I wouldn’t be surprised to see this turned into a movie.

I really loved this book. I read it on Kindle and there must be a problem with the system as I got duplicates of what I had just read in the same chapters. Other than that, the book was excellent. A man who is an empath hides his secret of being empathic from everyone, he successfully does this until he reveals to a woman he recently meets at his friends' house. He then finds out that she gets dreams that sometimes show her what is about to happen. This is the introduction to the story that is an exciting read.

WOW!

Excellent book! Reminded me of the suspense and sitting on the edge of your seat from watching the TV show “24”. This book would make a great TV show. I couldn’t understand a lot of the technical jargon but it didn’t takeaway from the story at all - not to me. This is totally not my usual kind of story but Agliolo has changed my mind. Highly recommend it!

This writer does an awesome job drawing you into the story. Keeping you invested in our characters and the action keeps us turning pages. Thus book is a definite must read if you are looking for a story that will transform you into the story and take you along for an exciting something suspense ful ride. Bravo on a jib well done in writing a specular story.

The Empath by Michael Agliolo starts with a man with the ability to take on the physical pain of others and saves the president from an illness. He and his friend, who has prophetic dreams, are recruited by the president for a secret mission to save the US. Overall, it's a solid and quick read, with short chapters.

Very exciting book, but rather disjointed in places. I had a little trouble believing that an ex-navy dropout would be capable of handling the survival situations on the island, helicopter, and submarine. Suspending disbelief was the key to simply enjoying this adventure, I think.

Interesting concept

I enjoyed this book even though it got a bit farfetched. The characters were defined and worked well together. It was a well written story that kept me interested and turning pages.

Awesome read!

The Empath, by Michael Agliolo, was an awesome read. A mixture of cultures and beliefs of the main characters gave this book an almost believable structure. Evrryone believes in something. Do you

Hooked me from the start, loving the edgy interpretation of empathy. As a student of psychology I was keenly interested in the descriptions of this ability and the possibilities of helping/healing others beyond just the intimate understanding of others feelings and experiences. The eventual turn to military use was a bit detailed but not hard too understand as a lay person. It saved very possible and not too distant threat to our country.
