Magic

This was a fast paced story. The characters were likable and fun. Allie took license with her first day at school, as if she wouldn't get in trouble for skipping class. The plot got confusing with a lot of action. Allie didn't have time to analyze what was going on, or consider what to do next. The reader also didn't have a clear picture of what was happening.

Did not finish…what is up with the random pinpricks of the sexualisation of middle schoolers? A boy staring at the main characters chest? The girls forced to wear gold short shorts for gym class and the boys staring at the girls legs???
