Not for beginners.

Definitely not for beginners, every thing on this book describes the different configurations this IC can be wired as but that can be found on the manual for it, I thought it had a project or two to get an idea how to slap together a working design but no, disappointing that is what this is.

Good quick review of the 555 timer but requires some knowledge of DC electronics.
If you're looking for a step by step tutorial you probably need a primer on logic circuits and basic DC electronics before tackling this book. I really like this book. It's a quick and concise review of the 555 timer.

a recall somewhat confusing but someone with experience can make since of it

A little awkward to read and follow but reminded me of original code I can relate back too for future use.
