It is a good book to start off with your help bring you back to earth on topics related to self improvement and being a man. Many of us do have problems being confident, self assured, and striving for something greater than comfort. It brought me back to a lot of my behaviors which I developed from being raised by a somewhat single mother who tried to live life through me. I also realized how my father and step father were both afraid of disciplining me. I didn't realize how they approached it. They kind of dumped everything on my mother, which isn't fair to her. I now want to jump into more stoicism like Seneca and Epictetus.
