Marley has found herself in a financial pickle, after she inherited millions from her grandparents she used some of the money to build her healing center B&B then gave the rest of the money away to charities but never paid taxes on the money or pay property taxes. Now the Government is going to cease the property if she doesnt pay. She has until the end of the weekend to pay it and another crime to solve on top of it. Marley becomes overwhelmed with being an adult and dealing with one problem after another..
I love this series and how well the author pulls me into the story, it has such a nice flow and always keeps my attention throughout. I look forward to the next book in this series.

"'There are conflicting parts of the self', he said. 'When you get those parts to decide on something, that's exactly when magic happens'".

Marley is setting up a fairly controversial workshop because, it's about money, and no one wants to talk about it anywhere. And Marley is having money "troubles" of her own...

The workshop is also an experiment in bringing Earth realm experiences to other beings. When a group from the center goes to a local venue they get more than they thought they might when a local reenactment takes a horrible turn that might involve one of them.

Can Marley prove she's a responsible "grown up"? And why does she have to be? Can she raise the money she needs to pay her taxes? And can she solve the tragic mystery that might put everyone in jeopardy?

This is the third in the wonderful series about Marley the Witch who is a member of the Hillcrest Earth Realm coven. Author Amorette Anderson has a good idea of the change that happens when we begin to understand that magic is all around us if we are grounded enough to see it. Highly recommended, fun series. 5/5

A great read. This is the 3rd book in the series and they just keep getting better. Marley is baby sitting Cora's dog Blueberry Muffin for 4 days while she is away. It is the same weekend that the new group of people will arrive for the workshop on MONEY .The guest speaker if King Midas. He wears special gloves so he won't turn everything to gold. In his group is his wife, his brother and a dogsitter. Marley takes some of the group to town to see the reenactment of the day the bandit came to town to steal the towns gold and got a snake in his face instead. It goes very wrong and the bandit shoots on of the men watching the show. The Miser thinks it was meant for him and promises her a bag of gold if she can find the murderer before they have to leave. Marley really needs the gold. She doesn't like bookwork and hates to answer mail. A Government letter in her mail box said she had back taxes due for the last 2 years and if not paid in full and on time ( 4 days) they would take her property. She is feeling down and thinking Cloud 9 might be a better fit for her. King Midas gives great information and is a hit with those attending the workshop. Marley finds she has a healing touch and is able to help others . Very nice ending. This is a good series for any age.

In the third book about Marley Green, a member of the Coven and owner of the Green Center for Marical Living.Marley has planned a four-day retreat with King Midas giving talks on "How to Create Money and Manifest Magic! Anything King Midas touches turns to Gold. He brings his wife, Polly, his dog walker, June and his brother, The Miser. Marley is also dog sitting for Cora with Blueberry Muffin.
When Marley inherited the old mine, the land and millions of dollars she thought her problems were solved. Now she is broke and owes the government back taxes. Could things get any worse for Marley?
She takes some of her guests to The Other Place for a historic re-enactment about the day the Masked Bandit tried to rob Jake the Snake of the town's gold. When something goes wrong and Old Two-Cats is shot with the gun, Marley needs to find out who the killer actually was. She thinks they were actually there to kill The Miser.
Because The Miser is one of her guests she needs to find the killer before the workshop ends.
I really enjoyed this new series by Amorette Anderson. It is very well written A must read!! I received an advanced copy. This is my honest review

Taxes are overdue and Marley’s in trouble. Have you ever thought inheriting a lot of money would solve your problems? For Marley it took her from a simple happy life to being bogged down with responsibility!

The temptation for Marley to move to Sarin’s inn on Cloud 9 has never looked better. She loved the idea of her Center for Magical Living but it has come with much more work than she ever considered. She found the financial side of her dream too confusing and stopped opening mail. Now she owes two years back taxes.

No problem one would think. Marley also inherited millions in addition to the land. But for Marley the money was just a way to support environmental causes. So now she’s broke.

This week she is hosting a workshop on finances with King Midas as the guest speaker. However with a murder the first night of the retreat, Marley is too busy with the investigation to get much benefit from the workshops.

Will Marley catch the murderer? Can she find a way to save the center from the tax collector? Or will she finally give in and move to Cloud 9?

The KING MIDAS TOUCH is another wonderful story by Amorette Anderson. Like the other magical lesson stories, this is at times a funny, quirky and laugh out loud story!  It is the perfect relaxing, no stress read with a lesson to be learned even while solving a murder.

Marley is still struggling to fulfill her destiny of creating a healing/wellness center. Now she's found out she owes back taxes and they are going to foreclose on all her property and the Wellness Center - oh, why didn't she read all those letters she received.  Well she'll take care of it right after this current retreat is over.  Maybe the financial workshop by King Midas and his brother, will help her learn something along with her guests.

I really enjoy these light-hearted murder mysteries and the self-awareness lessons they teach.

I did receive an advance copy of this five star story from the author and this is my honest review of this fun witchy cozy mystery.

I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
I'm loving the Marley series of book's, and this one is no exception.
King Midas and his brother The Miser visit the retreat as guest speaker's.
While they are there someone try's to kill The Miser, so he recruits Marley to find out who is trying to kill him, and he'll pay her £20,000 in gold if she succeeds, Marley is having problems with money at the present time so could do with the cash injection to help her out of a sticky situation.
There is also a mysterious man at the retreat who is lying about who is he, and it doesn't help the situation that Marley is attracted to him.
So another mystery to solve, and there are so many other things happening in the background, can Marley cope with everything??
I'd definitely recommend this book as it's a really well written easy read and just flows off the page.

Well, Marley is at it again with a four day seminar on "finances"! This book is a stand alone, but you will get much more enjoyment if you have read the previous books. King Midas and The Miser (his brother) have created quite the business for themselves and are willing to show others how to accomplish this for themselves. Full of all the fun and hilarious moments that I have come to love in this author's work! This one goes a step further and some "WOW" happenings in the ending chapters, IMO. Enjoy watching Marley, Penny, and others from their circle as they find their way through this newest retreat. Will Marley find a new love, fix her financial woes, and start to feel more positive about her own self-esteem? A delightful read.

I received an ARC copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest review with my own personal opinions.

Well done Amorrette Anderson. This is another great read in the Marley series. Marley is a free spirit that never really had responsibilities...until now. She always felt that building her wellness center was her calling. But with murders popping up she really is starting to doubt herself. She owes two years of back taxes and inheritance fees. Now the government wants their money. Marley feels like a failure. But she has to step up and get through the Midas Workshop. Maybe she might learn something. But first she has to solve a murder.
Will she solve the murder? Will she find the money to pay the government? And who is the mysterious guest?
As always a well written, light clean mystery, and great characters. Five thumbs up!

How many of us have internal conversations with ourselves, especially concerning money? If you had an opportunity to learn from King Midas and his brother, The Miser, would you?

Those are the guest speakers at Marley’s Healing Center. Problem is someone mistakenly shoots a man who looks like The Miser, Poor Two-Cats. Takes a minute to figure out that it is The Miser they were after. Now the questions are who and why? But who is this Sam? Is Sarin up to her tricks.

Read this fun, easy to read cozy mystery to find out. Can be read as a standalone, there is enough references to follow the ongoing Sarin subplot.

This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.

Marley is hosting another gathering with King Midas and The Miser as guest speakers on money management. When the guest all arrive from other realms, Marley takes those who wish to go to the local pub for the reenactment of the Hillcrests beginnings. The play didn't got the way it was supposed to and there was a murder. Once again, Marley and her witch friends have their hands full trying to keep everything going properly at the Healing Center and trying to solve another murder. I really am loving this series and I can't wait to read all the books in this one. The author has kept the characters that we loved from the first series and this series Marley and her Wellness Center is the lead. These book are great fun to read.

Marley is going through some real issues of trying to work on her conflicting feelings and thoughts. Especially about the Lazy S Inn and her thoughts of just forgetting everything and running away. Top it all off with a murder to solve and so huge financial issues, and poor Marley needs healing herself! This Marley installment seems to be much more serious than the Penny books were. But after this one I’m confident that things will get lighter again because, hey, it’s Marley and she’s our favorite free spirit! This series always gives me so many things to think about in my own life and ways to make things just run more smoothly and calm. I don’t know how Amorette does it, but keep on writing them!

Marley’s healing center hosts a money seminar this time around. The guest speakers are King Midas and his brother The Miser. When someone attempts to kill the misery Marley and Penny are on the case with the help of blueberry muffin, Cora’s dog. During the investigation Marley finds herself full of doubts about the center, her life and especially her tax bill which she hasn’t paid in two yrs! With the threat of the government seizing the center she’s even more tempted to go to the Lazy S Inn in the spirit realm.
Though not all the regular characters are in this book it was still very entertaining! I really enjoyed this book. I love this new series focusing on Marley! I recommend this book!

King Midas and his brother the Miser are scheduled to talk at Marley’s healing centre. Before the workshop even begins, a person is killed by a bullet meant for the Miser. Marley finds out she owes back taxes and may lose her land, that is if she can not solve the mystery and get the reward.

This is the third cozy, paranormal mystery in Marley the Witch series. The characters are quirky, dynamic and engaging. What I like most is the personal growth they display throughout the story. The narrative is great, the storyline is smooth and filled with a great mystery, personal drama, humour, surprises and just a bit of romance. This is another great cozy, magical mystery by Anderson. I highly recommend her work, if you love cozy mysteries like I do.

Another great book in the series. Marley has another workshop going on, with the guest speaker being King Midas. King Midas has three other people in his entourage - his wife, his brother (The Miser) and the woman who looks after his dog. On the day of their arrival most of the group are taken into town to view an annual celebration held by the town. Unfortunately, one of the townspeople is murdered in what seems to be a case of mistaken identity. The intended target was one of the guests. Marley has until the end of the workshop to solve the crime, for which she will receive several thousand dollars. She badly needs this money to pay back taxes.

King Midas Spell
Marley is holding a workshop on finances and money, things no one likes to deal with, especially Marley. Except The Miser, King Midas' brother, who is here with the entourage leading the workshop, along with Polly (King Midas' wife) and their dog walker June... The Miser loves talking about finances in all aspects, even sleeps with their finance books.
Marley has been ignoring the accountants, lawyers and the mail regarding her inheritance, and now the taxes are due...
What is Marley going to do? And can she heal herself, so she can deal with her finances?
This book given to me by the author and I chose to read and review

King Midas has come to give financial seminars at Marley’s retreat. His brother The Miser is the other half of the seminar. Marley and several guests go into town to watch the reenactment of a historic event. When The Miser and a local exchange hats, the local is shot during a botched reenactment. Now Marley has to discover who killed the local and how this will be explained without magic.

This is another enjoyable mystery featuring Marley. She learns a lot about herself with the help of a guest.

I received an ARC version of this book for a fair and honest review. I enjoy the Hillcrest series a great deal, and the new Marley and her healing center variation is even better than the original series with Penney. The King Midas Magic book is a bit different with Marley going through self-doubt and crisis management while dealing with a murder investigation that results in many twists and turns. My favorite parts of this book can't be shared since they would involve spoilers, but I enjoyed it a great deal. I highly recommend this latest entry in Marley's saga.

Great book! I recommend it highly to those young or old who enjoy a clean book with those “nuggets of wisdom” that Amorette adds in her books that make them so popular!

I feel this is by far the best one in the series! There is the whodunnit that will have readers searching for the clues to try and solve the mystery before it is revealed.

Fans of Amorette will rejoice in this book and I hope those who may not of read her before will check it out!
I think you’ll have found a new author you’ll want to stay with!

Bravo Amorette on a job well done!

Sorry for the tardiness but I have been under the weather just as I finished the book. The book was about Marley's ability to finance her magical center. Marley finds herself solving another murder that takes place during one of her workshops. This book is well written, the characters a full and vibrant. I love this book and can't wait for the next one. I highly recommend this book for the whole family. I am not giving any more details, so if you want to know what happens, please get the book. Thank you!

So good!!!

This series just got even better and I didn’t think that was possible! I loved it so much! Only exclamation marks will do for this book! If you read this review and haven’t read any of Anderson’s books yet, and you do love witch cozies that are fun and also full of depth, then do give this series a try! A whole new world will open up to you; you really won’t regret it! I love Marley more and more! The end came way too soon, purely because I loved every single minute of it! See, all exclamation marks, but it’s just that sort of book!

The author didn't let us down, she gave us a story that we have come to expect from her. I thought that I had solved who did it, but a few twists and turns to the story and it showed me that I was wrong. I am hoping that Marley finds love with the "agent". She is the only witch that doesn't have a love life. Marley is always doing for others and making sure that they are happy. Marley hasn't had that type of happiness since Jason left her. I will be waiting for the next book to see if Marley gets a happy love life.

I volunteered an honest review in exchange for an ARC copy of this book!

The familiars help solve a case
I really enjoyed this book. The story was interesting and flowed well. The characters we unique and fun. They grow and change. Marley and Skili have become a great team. The healing retreat seems to be working well. I keep picturing Skili walking Blueberry on her leash. That is just to cute, an owl walking a dog. They are both so helpful to Marley. Even Turkey helps out. I recommend this book to those who like paranormal mysteries with a bit of humor.

Another beautiful, inspiring story in this series. It will warm your heart and impart another valuable life lesson. Balance between all your inner parts is essential. Therein lies deep healing. Being open to new things has Marley learning about The Miser and the Midas in all of us. Two sides of the same gold coin. Inner dialog saves the day. And Blueberry Muffin helping to solve the case! A very enjoyable read. I received an ARC of the book from the author. All opinions are my own.

I love the way each of these books show the growth of the lead character. Marley is still fighting her desire to go to Sarin's boarding house and never have any worries again (but would that really be true). In this book, King Midas and his brother The Miser come to the Center to teach ways to financial peace of mind. A discussion with King Midas leads toward more growth and healing for Marley. Along the way there are several mysteries for Marley to solve and possibly a new love interest.

Marley Green is hosting a financial convention at her magical healing retreat. King Midas is the scheduled speaker. When a murder happens at a local bar, Marley (with the help of her coven) must figure out who the murderer is. Love this series, each book gets better. Best read if other books in the series have been read. Very enjoyable read with fun characters. Looking forward to the next book! Marley has invited King Midas and his brother, The Miser, to the Greene Center as speakers for the financial workshop...but Marley has financial trouble of her own making which she doesn't want to acknowledge. A minor character dies because he resembles The Miser from the back. Who wants to kill him? There is an assorted cast of characters with their own secrets, a new love interest for Marley, and a nice little bombshell towards the end. Very good read.

Great entertainment and deep with it

I loved the combination of mystery and personal development in this book. I’m always drawn to stories where the character clearly learns something from the situation and that may be why I love this. It’s so well done, not forced but lightly occurring almost in the background but discerning readers will find much more to take away than an entertaining story.
