Just Jake..........Just Krystal...............Just love
Just Jake is the fifth book in the Reynolds Family series and is about Jake Reynolds and Krystal.
Krystal is on her way to start her life until her older Mustang has a few issues on a deserted road. She was on her way to a job interview at Reynolds Inc. to be the assistant to the CEO, Mr. Drew Reynolds. But even with one flat tire and steam coming from under the hood and basically no cell service she is still determined and hoping for a miracle. The thing is that she needs to prove to her older step-sister Tanya that can survive without her and make it on her own. The sisters are the only family either of them has. When their parents were killed in a car accident Tanya raised a much younger Krystal but has held resentment about it which comes out in a lot of passive-aggressive behavior.
Jake owns a very successful auto garage in town and has spent the last several years concentrating on growing the business only. He now has a number of employees and a busy business. But he does not have anyone to share it which he would like.
Jake is on his way back to town after taking a trip to buy a part that was needed for an older car in the shop. He is driving fast on the country road when he blows past a car on the side of the road and a young woman that barely moved out of the way. He turns around and comes back to find a beautiful young woman who is in need of assistance. He checks under her hood and determines that it will have to be towed so he arranges to do that for her. But she is not to sure whether to trust him or not as he could be a serial killer. But Krystal is in need of getting to her interview, even though she is going to be late as it is. Lucky for her Jake is Drew's cousin and he texts him to let him know, without letting Krystal know he has done it. Jake has already made up his mind that she is the one for him and he will help her in any way she needs, along with keeping her safe. But with Tanya still nattering in her brain Krystal is still determined to make it all on her own.
I really liked this story story. It is well written, has a great story-line and a couple great characters. Jake has found the woman for him. Krystal is determined to make it all on her own, even when she needs some help. Jake is wonderful with Krystal as he is just there offering that little bit of assistance to her and eventually makes her realize that just because she can do it all on her own does not mean that she still cannot accept some help when it is offered.

I liked this story a lot. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and relatable. Jake was totally awesome and I would totally keep him as my book boyfriend.

Quick romantic read
This book was a quick steamy romantic and sweet. This is my first story in the Reynolds series and I wasn't disappointed. Jake Reynolds is what most women want in a man...protective, dependable, trustworthy, respectable and romantic. Krystal was lucky that Jake was around to assist her when everything it seem wasn't going right. Krystal was cautious but she was also instantly attracted to Jake. She wants to be independent but something about Jake makes her want to give up some of that independence. This book shows it's OK to be independent but it is also OK to receive help too. Their love was quick and over the top but it was sweet. I enjoyed it.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Just Jake is book five in the Reynolds family series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Krystal’s car breaks down on the way to an interview it is a handsome stranger that comes to her rescue. From the moment Jake meets Krystal he wants her.
The chemistry between Jake and Krystal is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought that they made a cute couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

Just Jake is a simple instalove story of two people who happen to be in the right place at the right time.

This is a sweet & steamy 5th book in the Reynolds Family Series. It is a well-written short insta-love romance with an alpha man and younger curvy woman. These characters are well-developed for a short story and you fall in love with them. The chemistry is instant with these two and the story flows smoothly and is great sweet story. I had an enjoyable time reading the Reynolds siblings and was surprise that there is anothrt book in the series, i.e., Jake, who turned out to be their cousin.
It was a chance encounter for Jake and Krystal and he was smitten with her. Knowing how precious she is, he moved fast and finally hooked his bride, of course she had to realize something first.

Wonderful book #5 of the Reynolds Family Series. Krystal is on her way to interview for a job when she meets Jake after her car breaks down and he stops to help. She gets the job which is with his cousins company and he offers her his home when she does not have any where to stay. All things are working just like Jake had hoped. Continuation of the Reynolds family... nice meet cute for Jake and Krystal. Great in how the connection between them is mutual and electric, with little to wonder how it will turn out. Like how Jake does not try to control, but rather offer support for her independence. Fun epilogue in how their story ends.

I enjoyed this straightforward fun romance a lot. Classic white knight scenario, probably one of my guilty pleasures. It felt realistic the way she struggled with accepting help, and his thought process was really great as he worried he was rushing things or pushing her. Definitely a good quick read!

This book is really good. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it's just not long enough. It has so much potential to be a fantastic novel. Maybe one day the author will revisit it and expand. I can only hope.

Krystal's mustang breaks down on a backroad on her way to an interview. Jake breezes by but then circles back to see if he can help.He sees her and knows she will be his forever. Now to just get her to see and feel the same. Sweet end.

This is the 5th book in the Reynolds family series. Krystal and Jake are great characters with an instant love. the story line is short and sweet.
