When being different leads to the best years of your life.
Nothing lasts forever. Especially happiness…
After five solid years of spy school, Silver Spell Solange can finally celebrate summer like a normal student, enjoying a proposal she would never refuse, a two-week vacation with her family, and the newfound abilities of her adorable familiar.
But all too soon, her peaceful future is threatened.
The Dark Kingdom is desperate, and it's clear their silence is ominous…and an opportunity. Silver itches to take advantage of the chance to face them once and for all, but S.S.S. Sky Division has other plans for her.
Given the awakening ceremony, classes taught by a powerful god from another universe, and Uzziah's health concerns, Silver has her hands full. Plus, a new question looms: What if this new professor is a key component to the prophecy?
With missions being thrown at her left and right, and a new enemy on the horizon, Silver must pull out the cards and predict the future unfolding around her before it's all too late.
Let the darkness test our bonds, for we shall rise above it all and conqueror as supernatural spies. Year Six, be ready for Team 999.
Avery Song's SSS Year 6 picks up where things left off with book five with a lot of mayhem, but an overall promising future to come...if they can just keep from getting attacked, threatened and nearly killed by the dark forces stalking them. Year Six is about to commence and Silver and the guys will once again learn new things about themselves and even grow more. SSS Year 6 moves forward in the manner that has become the format for the previous books of where the first half focuses on Silver, her relationships with the guys and preparing for the next year at the Academy. I like seeing their relationships grow more and how Uzziah and Cayden are being included more and Silver developing a better relationship with Cayden despite his complicated past behind his brother. I absolutely love that Star has a form other than her uni-kitten. She is absolutely so precious and she honestly brings some really humorous moments to the book as well. I think that this book has some more humor in it compared to the others which makes me really like it because, for me, in comparison to book five the pace slows down a bit. Now! This book does have some tragedy in it, but like the other books things work out in the end. While I enjoyed this book, I have the same issue as the previous...this series seems to be focusing less on the Academy side and more on Silver and the guys. That's fine to an extent, but the beginning point was Silver, her guys AND their experiences and learning at the Academy. It seems like the Academy is now just a background image and that we're not getting as much of their experiences as I'd like. I don't mind the constant additions to Silver's group/harem, but it's beginning to feel like Anita Blake from LKH's books. Also, I don't like the constant usage of "whined, cheered, and hummed." It feels like these words are being a bit over-used in my opinion. A couple of scenes they seem out of place. When Cayden is encouraging Silver in one scene he "cheers" which makes it seem out of place. I'd have said "encouraged" because that's exactly what he was doing. Then another scene with Scarlett and Silver when it's a mixed emotion scene...I felt that "cried" would have been the better choice due the scene that was playing out. Then there is the "first day of the Academy - be prepared for the bad guys to attack because...they will." It's too predictable! By now one would expect the Academy to be better prepared. Or for the bad guys to at least have some more sense and NOT attack on the FIRST day. This book has some good elements and then there are some that could have used a bit more work/variety. I enjoyed the storyline, but I'm ready for something different to change things up. The author seems to be slipping into a routine/predictable way of writing her books now which makes them a bit less enjoyable. I'm hopeful that the next book will be more engaging. I am rating this book 4 out of 5 stars. I like the series, but I need something to spice things up again.
Wow what a powerful book. We find the start of the book where Silver was in a coma and all the guys left her notes in a journal. Which show so much at the start of the book an gives insight into the guys and of how they feel towards Silver. After a summer vacation we see them all go into year 6 with a few revelations and an unexpected new team member. And with many twists and turns we see them all take on exams in an epic way to end the book on such a major cliffhanger that will blow your mind. This book also has its annual competition to a great steamy outcome and much more to leave you hanging off that cliff by the end. Totally recommend
New chapter and new challenges is what waits the gang as they head into next chapter of their lives. It was going to be fun and it certainly was. This instalment allowed us to get to know more in depth the Dark Kingdom given the recent developments.
Silver has a new role to play now and whilst it been a while for her. It feels like we haven't been gone too long from her . The new changes have really made this series feel refresh and ready for the battles up ahead. The decisions made in this book aren't questionable but worth it. It allowed us to learn more about this world and the choices that characters have made.
I’ve been binge reading this series and although I’m enjoying it, there is so much going on in this book that it left me feeling tired and a little uninterested at some of the smaller conflicts. I am enjoying the characters, but adding new men into Silver’s harem seems to be overwhelming the original guys relationships. Too many men and so little time spent with each. I’ll be picking up book seven as I want to find out what happens after the bombshell the author dropped in the last chapter.
Absolutely outstanding series ! This last book has me on edge the entire time. It’s just fast enough paced while being jam packed with intricate details and the most amazing storyline I’ve read in a long time! I cannot wait for the 7th book to come out! Already marked on my calendar with an alarm to go off at midnight the night before !!
First off, this is NOT a standalone book. In fact if you've not read the previous books before, you'll be totally lost. With that said and done....OH MY UNI-KITTY this year was Beyond epic!!!! If you think Silver, her family, and her guys have been through insane situations before? Suffice to say you should buckle your proverbial seatbelt..Bumpy, bumpy ride ahead and then some! The villains have SERIOUSLY underestimated Silver and everyone in her life. There are sooooooo many bada$$ moments, massive reveals, shocking declarations, new players and more that your head will spin. However at the heart of it all is one absolutely FIERCE, big hearted warrior queen we all know and love. Dark Kingdom should tremble in fear for after all Silver and co endured this year, all bets are OFF! Run little minions...run far far away.I cannot wait to see Silver and her loves serve up some justice in the next book. This book definitely has tragedy and tough moments, but it leads Silver and her loves to some important truths. I for one can't wait for Artemis to learn what's happened to. Is youngest child.
This series is unfinished and it feels like, as this is apparently a pattern with this author the end might never come with multiple series being written and all unfinished. I quite enjoyed these books (although the story is almost identical to the sister stories at witchling academy including where the betrayal comes from, the friendships, the interests and flaws of the characters so as said before you only really need to read one series and scan the other) but what is really frustrating that it is yet another series by this author that is unfinished and with the authors history seems like it will never be finished. I have come to the decision to not read any of this authors (under all 3 known names) works now until a completed series is confirmed and released as I am fed up of reading unfinished series that then have released continually pushed back and then ends that seemingly are never going to be written
I’m so glad that this book is finally out! I have been going crazy waiting to continue reading Silver and the guys story! This book was amazing, I love reading about Silver and her men on her life changing and threatening school years where the Dark Kingdom are trying their best to make them fail.
All bets are off this new term and school and the stakes are higher than ever. Silver and her men are now stepping into the world full of demigods and gods. And the trials to become one of the few to reach god status are dangerously deathly.
I gotta say one of my favorite things with Averys books is all the awesome crossovers she does between them! It really connects the different series together and it’s nice to “see” a familiar face while reading.
I am not going to write "this is getting good" about this book. That was 3 books, so many twists, suprises, betrayals, heartfelt moments and chocking on my coffee in public while laughing-funny moments ago. Is there such a thing as being book drunk? I know book hangovers are a thing, something i have had several times and most of them from this author’s books, but how i feel right now is not that. I am so contradicting myself at the moment. I could not read this fast enough, at the same time i never wanted it to end. I am feeling every emotion right now. Happy, sad, worried, excited, angry and giddy about how Silvers story is going. She and the guys are engaged, Star is super cute, the action and just everything about this series is fantastic to me. And that ending.... Just read the series, i cant explain or recommend this series enough.
Silver and her men are back and stronger than ever before!
Silver and her fiancés, and boyfriend, hope to have a stress free summer for once, but of course nothing ever goes as planned. When an incident with Nikko and a bitch who was supposed to be dead occurs it turns Silvers world upside down what she becomes. Due to Silvers new....circumstances a new character is introduced by the name of Damien. After learning about Damien's past I cannot wait to find out what more about his role in Silvers life. As usual the school year is nothing if not hectic and dangerous. Silver and her men face more extreme challenges than they ever have before. In typically Avery Song fashion there is a killer cliff hanger at the end that has me dying to find out what happens next! Year 7 can't come soon enough!
Year Six did not disappoint and was a roller coaster of emotions. Silver is continuously growing and learning so much more about her powers. Her relationship with the guys is developing into something far more amazing than I could even hope for. In Year Six we get to see her relationship with Cayden blossom and finally get to see them together. I absolutely love the addition of Cayden. He’s warm, funny, compassionate and just an amazing character. We also get to see Silver’s relationship with Ryuu deepen and see her support Ryuu in times of need and turmoil. I love how she is the most amazing counterpart to each of her men. She compliments them so well. In Year Six we meet a new God Apprentice, Damien. His history is tragic and amazing. I’m looking forward to getting to see how he blends with the group. Bring on Year 7!
I’m truly thankful Silver got some downtime with her men, but as is becoming her new normal, the Dark Kingdom is determined to cripple her and her men through loss.
As we get to see more of Silver’s relationships mature and become a stronger foundation for them to lean on, the mental and emotional toil that they are being put through has some of them doubting themselves and their place by Silver’s side.
But Silver refuses to lose any of her men, whether they have been with her from the beginning....or they are recent additions.
Join Silver in her race to save her world, her new school and the people that mean the most to her....but be warned- you will need a box of Kleenex, a bottle of wine, and a huge bar of chocolate....maybe a fan for the truly blazing passion that they all get to enjoy!
This is one war that Silver is happy to participate in! 🤣🤣
The story line and characters make for a good intriguing story. However, the time gap between books in the series is too lengthy. I waited months for book 6 to release and now book 7 isn't due out til may 2021. Its my opinion that if this author focused on one series at a time there wouldn't be such a lengthy time gap between books in the series. I spent half the time reading book 6 trying to remember what had previously happen in books 1-5 to make sense of book 6. At this point I don't think I'll continue this series as by the time book 7 releases I'll have forgotten most of this story line. I looked at her other series and most of them seem to be in progress simultaneously and have lengthy time gaps between book releases. So while i have enjoyed this author's writing I don't think I'll continue to follow her works.
There was so much ground covered in Year Six. As Silver and her men recover from her coma, the love and adoration shared just grows and grows. They have a relaxing summer and their bonds really feel like they cemented. As histories are discovered, and truths are found, the importance of Team 999 becomes glaringly obvious. Still, we meet new characters, some completely new while others we've met in other worlds and the team strengthens. While fighting the Dark Kingdom and still going to spy school, Silver and her men defintely have a lot on their plates, but they overcome and overwhelm. Full of steam, action, puzzles, and adventure Year Six is the best yet. With a hook at the end that will draw you back again and again, this story is really heating up!
In year 6 of S.S.S. School a lot happens. Team 999 grows and bonds more completely. The team finds out different truths and why things happened as the team grew and strengthened over their years at S.S.S. Silver and her mates have a lot to deal with and overcome, and along the way the real purpose behind team 999 comes into focus. There is lots of love, adventure, intrigue, challenges and new twists and turns. The team is still fighting the Dark Kingdom, fighting for a world worth working towards. Reading this story is like visiting old friends. Avery Song has the ability, through her words, to build a wonderful world filled with many different types of people, both good and bad. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
Holy Freaking Cannoli!!!! That ending was FIRE! I absolutely love this series. It's one of my favorite from Avery Song. Silver and her men are at it again. Enjoying their long summer vacation with no magic use and a dangerous attack to end their summer. Silver starts off year 6 with let's call it a glow up. Not to mention her mom is now a God alongside her Father and teaching at S.S.S. Sky academy. They have new uniforms, a new form house and a new schedule. Nee pain in the butt transfer students as well. As well as a new team member. Damien is added to their team. He is already a God and her father's apprentice but is there to help Silver and her men. Sooooo much happens in year Six!!! It's a crazy ride of a story with a killer ending!
This book offered more relationship building and reflection. In the previous books it was all sexy time all the time. It was a nice change of pace for the team talk. I particularly liked the letters. The action and story progression was slower, but it was needed. I am having some issues. The first is I'm tired of everyone having multiple personalities or weird back stories (damien \danielle). I also don't care for stories where the harem is always increasing by one even after its assumed the harem is complete. It would also be nice if the team went on the offense with the bad guys. The story is getting repetitive with the dark kingdom always attacking during a trial and the team or the good guys never strike back.
So much has happened. As usual, the academy is only a small portion of the book, the challenges, the heartbreak, the compassion, support for one another was incredibly written. I get anxious when the book is close to an end as u can see the read percentage at the bottom of my screen without having to do anything. There were a few spots where I felt like I missed something and had to re read as it wasn’t explained properly but otherwise I couldn’t stop reading. I loved it!
Loved it!! This series of books is definitely one of my favorites, and i have read a whole lot of books.. This set of books is so good that when you get to the last one you do not wat the series to end.. It sucks you into the magical world and the storyline and takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions throughout the story.. I definitely recommend this series of books to anyone who loves paranormal romance/ reverse harem books.. It might just become your favorite too.😁
I fell in love with Silver and her guys in book 1, and I fall more in love with the series and characters with every book. The love and growth is absolutely fabulous. The underlying story and crossover with the other academies leave you wanting more. Set aside a day for this, you will not want to stop once you start this book!!!
This book gets you hooked from the first chapter. I stayed up way to late reading it but it was so worth it. I love Silver and her guys! I love the strength and love they get throughout the book. The diary entries from the coma was a bonus I didnt think we would get! I love them! Everytime one came up in my book I read them over and over again. Avery Song just keeps getting better ajd heater! I love it.
What can I say that hasn't been said. Silver is amazing. Evolution is not easy for her and her family. Because pain comes at a steep cost. She has the love of seven men. But with Damien in the picture maybe an eight is in the works. Star, what an amazing child. No longer trapped in her familiar cat form. She makes me hopeful for her. I can't wait to see how she evolves. Looking forward to year seven.
Just when you think you cannot love Silver and her guys any more we get another book just to prove us wrong. This a fantabulous addition to this incredible series that you will not be able to stop reading once you get started and it is a big one so prepare yourself. I am so looking forward to year seven! I still need my own uni-kitten as well since Star is so adorable. A total must read book/series. I totally love it so I give it 5/5 stars.
I fall more in love with this series and its characters with each new release. This round Silver and her guys meet new characters, some completely new while others we've met in the other universes. Histories are discovered, truths are found, and what’s revealed shine even more light on the importance of Team 999. This book was impossible to put down! I HAD to know what happened next! Now I can’t wait to see what’s in store next! P.S. I still want my own uni-kitty! ❤️
Surprises & Shocks Cause Tear Jerking Moments!!😳😱😢💔💘💥 A 3.5 Star Read 🌟 (Read using Kindle Unlimited) SSS: Year Six (Supernatural Spy School #6)
This has a slower start due to the ending of book #5! Once the pace starts to pick up, it initially ebbs & flows. The later third of the book is a more full on pace with revelations, Shocks & surprises galore!!💥 There's a horrendous ending that left me hanging to my sanity by a thread!🙈 I can't wait to discover more!!🙏🌟
What a thrilling ride this series has been so far! I love that we know all the love interests so well due to the long nature of this story. I loved the initial two additions to the harem (Uzziah and Cayden), not so sure how I feel about the addition of Damien (the whole he/she thing is weird to me). I read the first 6 books in a couple of days and now I have to wait for the 7th one to come out...ugh! Overall this is a high quality Academy RH series I recommend to all RH lovers. Solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Avery is such a talented writer, I love how you the books all flow.
The book picks up from silver in her coma and her and her men find out what 999 means. They spend a summer getting even even closer and cementing there bonds and working together.
This series is a page turner that you won't want to put down.
I fell like you string me along in this great story and adventure all to torture me that there is still more! Mom is a Goddess now?! Professor Phoenix its now com over?! Give me more!!! I cannot wait until this stories all combine and have that final show down!! Avery sure knows how to build the suspense and make sure you can't stop reading!!

Silver and her men are my favorites out of every book from Avery so far! This book drew me in from the start and Im pretty sure i barely slept lol. I loved that we get a glimpse of what happened during her coma and the characters grow still. We even get new characters! Way to go Avery! such a good book!!
