Betrayed by You is a sexy romantic suspense novel. It is Book One in The Deception Series.
If you like to read stories of romance mixed with an edge of your seat suspense, Betrayed by You will not disappoint.
Williams pens a unique and suspenseful story in Betrayed by You. I have read work from this author before, and I really enjoyed it. The characters were intense with a sense of lightness, as well as multidimensional. It was filled with interesting emotions, and those brought the reader on a journey of truth seeking, and betrayal. This author brings the story to life. This book deserves a second read! (and maybe more). This author is not just a writer but a great storyteller. It was definitely an enjoyable journey. Magnificent story, kept this reader turning the pages. A definite attention grabber. This story was intriguing and kept the reader guessing. An inspiring story. The title is just the beginning, and the reader finds out along with Ava, that nothing is as it seems. I look forward to reading many more stories by this author. This book is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews.
Unfortunately, this series foundation tale detailing the romance between hotel developer Justin Harrington and banker Ava Sinclair didn’t appeal to this reader. The list of issues includes flat characters, the pacing and many grammatical errors with incorrect sentence structure, switching from first to third person narrative within the same paragraph quite a bit, affecting the low. By 45%, it became a bit more of the read expected but at 52% this reader had to stop realizing I still didn’t care. Rating: 2stars
I love the relationship between the hero and the heroine. The story has the perfect balance of romance and suspense. The story does not end in a cliffhanger, just an opening for the next book in series.
