Kierkegaard a donne a sa philosophie le nom d'existentielle; il sait certes aussi bien que tout le monde que du point de vue de la philosophie speculative, la philosophie existentielle est la pire des absurdites. Mais cela ne l'arrete pas, cela le ravit au contraire. C'est dans l'objectivisme de la philosophie speculative qu'il voit son vice essentiel. les hommes, ecrit-il, sont devenus trop objectifs pour obtenir la beatitude eternelle, car la beatitude eternelle consiste justement en un interet personnel infiniment passionne. Et cet interet infini est le commencement de la foi.

كتاب قصير يفيد في تلخيص أفكار كيركغارد المبعثرة, لن يساعدك على فهمه ولكن فقط يجمع أفكاره ويعرضها ببساطة

“like Kierkegaard, Dostoyevsky knew the power that original sin has over us; but he felt the horror of sin, and in this horror there dawned an awareness of the illusory nature of the power appropriated by the truths of reason.
This is the starting point of the Absurd. It was from the Absurd, forged by the horrors of existence, that Kierke¬ gaard found out about sin and learned to see sin where Scripture shows it to be. The opposite of sin is not virtue, but freedom. Freedom from all fears, freedom from coer¬ cion.Theoppositeofsin—this,too,wasrevealedtohimby the Absurd—is faith.
During Kierkegaard’s lifetime no one would listen to
him. After his death his books came to be read more and more, and he achieved universal reknown. But is existen¬ tial philosophy fated to triumph over theoretical philoso¬ phy? Will Kierkegaard become a “teacher of mankind”? It makes no difference. Perhaps it is not necessary that he become a “teacher;” most likely it is not necessary. Kierke¬ gaard’s voice has been and probably will always remain the voice of one crying in the wilderness. Existential phi¬ losophy, which is directed toward God, for Whom every¬ thing is possible, tells us that God does not coerce, that His truth attacks no one and is itself defended by nothing, that God Himself is free and created man as free as He is. But the concupiscentia invincibilis of fallen man, man who has tasted the fruit of the tree of knowledge, fears divine free¬ dom more than anything else and eagerly strives for gen¬ eral and necessary truths.
It is certain because it is impossible.

El objetivo de esta obra del existencialista ruso Lev Shestov es mostrar que la pretensión racional de recurrir a verdades increadas e inamovibles se sustenta, en realidad, en la nada y es fruto de la angustia. Así, tanto el bien como la verdad tendrían por único fundamento la arbitrariedad divina.
La lectura que se hace aquí de Kierkegaard (mediante un repaso titánico por la práctica totalidad de sus libros y diarios) señala como eje central de su pensamiento la fe en el absurdo, es decir, para Dios todo es posible. La radicalidad de las oposiciones a las que recurre Shestov en esta interpretación le llevan a reconocer que Kierkegaard se traicionó a sí mismo en numerosos pasajes.
Esto último me parece una prueba de que esta obra es más una exposición de las ideas originales de Shestov que una reproducción fiel del pensamiento de Kierkegaard. Toda interpretación de lo ajeno es una excusa para desarrollar lo propio. Tan solo habría querido que para ello no hubiera sido tan repetitivo y que no hubiera ocupado gran parte de todos sus capítulos con citas textuales.
Sí me ha sorprendido mucho el modo en el que Shestov vincula por afinidad las propuestas de Kierkegaard con las de Dostoievsky, Nietzsche, Lutero, Tertuliano, Duns Scoto, Pedro Damian y Ockham. Así queda trazada una cierta tradición de filosofía existencial de la que Shestov sería un integrante más.

إنه الفيلسوف المنشود !!
أشياء كثير تشدني نحو هذا الفيلسوف الديني، كيرككورد يذهب بعيدا حين يقدمه لك ليون شيستوف الذي لا يرضخ لأي صيغة عادية ويفتح لك دربا أخر ورؤية جديدة، قد تكون صاخبة مثلم كتب عن الفنان فان جوخ، وحادة الوضوح مثل هذا الكتاب عن سورين كيرككورد، الذي يجعلك تفكر في ظلال كلماته " وحده الرعب المتأتي من اليأس، يوقظ في الإنسان، كيانه الأعلى".

Un libro complicado con ideas muy fuertes. Sus ideas serían difíciles de entender para quien no tenga una idea de la religión desarollada. Tiene un estilo interesante con tanta repetición e insistencia sobre algunos temas o incluso frases muy puntuales mientras hace el recorrido de distintas ideas. Repetitivo y a la vez no. Esto se ve que fue perfectamente intencional.
La exploración sobre el pecado original es fenomenal. Plantea bien qué es la religión segun la filosofía existencial. Abre los ojos a los problemas teológicos que la religión resuelve y ataca concepciones falsas de lo que la religión no es. Dará una madurez religiosa al lector y lo hará reflexionar profundamente sobre la fe.
La exploración sobre el pecado original es fenomenal. Plantea bien qué es la religión segun la filosofía existencial. Abre los ojos a los problemas teológicos que la religión resuelve y ataca concepciones falsas de lo que la religión no es. Dará una madurez religiosa al lector y lo hará reflexionar profundamente sobre la fe.
