Sinclair's death should have been the end of the drama, but his son Alistair had already taken the reins. The threat is still very present. More and more refugees are flocking to the Triune Pack for help, stretching their resources to their limits, and the last attack will have far-reaching consequences for everyone.
Quentin is missing and Lisa is dead but both gave their packs to Marcus. Alphas aren't meant to hold onto so many wolves though, so how will he cope with so many? Can he hold them all together while battling the darkness that rises against them all, or will his inner turmoil spiral out of control and consume him?
Catriona has been asked to take on a new mate, but between the impending birth of her first litter of pups, her mate's struggle to hold the packs together and the attacks increasing in frequency, where will she find the time to learn him? She's still struggling to meet the physical and emotional needs of herself, her wolf and her dragon, never mind the seven mates that she already has. Life is demanding more and more of her. Her mother was torn apart physically, but Catriona fears that she will be torn apart mentally. Can the Triune pack hold their leaders together whilst overcoming the overwhelming odds against them?
Hi! I'm "Jade" (pen name only). I'm a stay at home mother to three gorgeous young children. I've been writing stories since I was a little girl, but I have never had the confidence to share them. Finally a friend talked me into publishing something, so, "Siren" was born.
I ask you to be kind in your reviews. I know that you may not like what I write, but it doesn't mean that you have to be nasty about it. I don't understand people who feel the need to do that. My books cost less than a cup of coffee. If you didn't like the coffee, would you abuse the person who served you?
That was a great part 1 and I cannot wait fast enough until next book is out! There is action, suspense, twist and turns, steam and tension. This is a fast-paced, easy to read and original story that you won't be able to put down until you've reached the last page!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is part one of the last book. Lots of action and romance. I love that we get to be apart of the mc's pregnancy. I really enjoyed every book in this series.
I read it cause I wanted to finish this series and I had nothing to read.
I mean the first two books were not my fave and I understand the author tried to get this out despite restrictions on her time. So mentally I feel like a horrible person, but this just felt rushed. Truthfully, I’ve forgotten all the guys in her harem there were so many, except the main dude (Marcus), the dead dude (Felix), and the dragon dude (who I forgot was Ethan). Every other guy was like an amorphous blob in my mind.
There was more of the patrolling and building the community, more preachy kumbaya goddess/god/magical vessel moments, more refugees on their doorstep, and the babies were finally born (in such a way that reaffirms the horrors of childbirth). There I summed up the book.
Honestly, I probably would have given this 3 stars like the first two if it wasn’t for the sudden ending. It was like an essay without a conclusion paragraph. It just ended. Wasn’t even an attempt at wrapping up the first half of the conclusion. And it didn’t even end on a significant point as if the final book was split at random. If it stopped anywhere I would say during the birth would have been a good spot to mirror the prologue. Either with a dramatic moment during the event or some poignant conversation directly afterwards. (Side note, once the babies were born they just came across as clutter, like they served there purpose and now they are just another to do.) Anyways, I took a star off because the ending came across lazy and sloppy. Even if the final book is being divided, they are still independent in there own way and require the appropriate care and lead in to carry the reader foreword.
That’s my two cents, I don’t know what else to say. Here’s me trying to create a conclusion on my review ranting on a lack of an ending. The End. Ta-Da!
There are 3 books in the Siren Saga series/trilogy. They cannot be read out of order or nothing will make sense…not that that doesn’t happen by the end of the series. **Catching Up** Catriona (in book 1) gets “stuck” with a bunch of wolves, much to her disgust, since she’s been in hiding and as a Siren, a VERY VERY rare species, her enemies have been wolves for a very long time, since the wolves did awful things to Sirens and drove them to extinction (however they aren’t extinct just hiding and there are very few of them) Anyway she inadvertently *in a kinda yuck scene* gets claimed by the werewolf Alpha - and then the Alpha has her mate his second, Matt - against her will (REALLY wasn’t fond of that, I mean she didn’t give consent to being Marked by Marcus, and then she flat out said No to Matt, but Marcus pushes him to her) that’s actually one of the things I didn’t like about book one. I mean, that’s borderline, heck, it is rape. She needs protection because she’s so rare a species and everything about her “magical” which is why all the other supernaturals are after her/and sirens in general. She sleeps with 8 guys. Almost at the end they throw in REALLY random m/m scenes. There was no mention of these guys being bisexual at all before the author just, boom, has several of them mate one another, even though they were always just “brothers before.” Catriona communes with The Goddess and learns she’s the vessel to bring back fertility to the wolves and SAVE THE WORLD? No pressure right. Oh, and she just keeps accumulating men left and right. And it’s “excused” because, hey, she’s a Siren and needs the sex *eye roll*. She sticks around cause now she’s claimed by all these wolves (we get very little time to get to know them since there are so many of them). Alpha Marcus’ dad is psycho and is coming after Catriona so the small pack that Marcus leads, pack Triune prepares to go to war! Oh and let’s not forget that Sirens aren’t supposed to be able to get pregnant, but the Goddess gifts her a litter of pups…a HUGE deal for the wolves. The book ends with one of her 8 mates dead, and Catriona pregnant with 4 of her mates pups. **In Book 2** Much of the same except Catriona is pregnant, everyone is running around preparing for a war that’s coming between Marcus’ Pack and his psych dad’s pack…but an even larger war is hinted at. Marcus spends his time getting more pack member, buying more land, in prep for all the refugees they’re going to have. And Catriona keeps getting “visions” this time from several Goddesses and Gods. All this weird magical shyte happens, the 568 year old wolf midwife gains back her youth for her service to the Goddess, HUH? We learn from her and the dragons that there is an age old prophecy about Catriona, and her saving the world- literally. Oh yeah did I mention there are now dragons who have joined the Pack Triune AND one of them is to Mate with Catriona (feels like a replacement for the mate she lost). But again it has to happen to save the world. By the end Sinclair, Marcus’ psycho dad is killed by Marcus, but nope can’t celebrate yet since Marcus’ brother is now the new Alpha and even more psycho than his dad was. These events are literally just dropped in, and then we have so little follow through with the characters and what’s happening that you spend most of the time just going “Are you kidding me,” and “huh?” **In Book 3** Book 3 is a hot potato mess, with SOOOO many threads and plotlines (most of them random) that you honestly don’t care anymore because there is just TOO MUCH going on, and waaaay too many characters - without following through and fleshing out all of these characters. I mean the POV’s are all over the place. And I like multiple POV’s, but this book is waaay overkill on POV between each character (and each POV is so short because there are so many of them). Catriona and Marcus, their pack are now large and are taking refugees from all the supernaturals. Again a lot of planning to grow a larger pack and get supplies, and a lot of Catriona not really doing much except having sex and oh healing, which actually requires her to juice up/take energy from others, and is intimate in a way, so again, more sexuality. Let’s not forget the random dropped m/m scenes - AGAIN - that come out of nowhere! I mean Marcus has a weird random sex scene with one of his “brothers” in book one, but says he’s realized he’s not really attracted to men (they won’t give him what he needs, remember Catriona is his fated mate) because he realizes that Catriona is HIS ONE AND ONLY, he loves her more than anyone…but lets have him change his mind (out of nowhere, literally! One minute he and Cat are having a threesome with Joe, which FYI comes out of nowhere!) remember Cats supposed to be the focal point since BOTH these wolves are her mates and have declared their undying love and devotion to Cat) but suddenly Marcus realizes IN the middle of their random threesome that he loves, like LOVES Joe and marks him , out of nowhere too, saying “MIIINE” to both of them. Completely negating the…oh Catriona’s the only one for me! WORSE is that waaay to late in the book it’s revealed that Marcus and Joe have been having a sexual relationship for YEARS, again, huh? What? We have no relationship buildup, just Marcus’ statement he’s a one woman man, and nope, doesn’t love men, the whole Joe thing was just to scratch an itch FOR YEARS! But after declaring Catriona. As his ONE, he has an epiphany that he loves the guy he’s been randomly hooking up with for years? Seriously?! It comes out of nowhere! I don’t mind m/m when IT MAKES SENSE and we get to KNOW the men involved really well and understand their relationship with one another before (if they end up in a harem with a girl) the FMC is introduced and the two lovers or three lovers or however many guys are involved with one another love and romances are fleshed out and defined and not just dropped off outta nowhere! Heck we learn next to nothing about Joe in the 3 books! The end of the book is ridiculous and confusing. Catriona dies, is brought back to “life” but not really since she becomes a Goddess, and although it’s supposed to be a HEA where she and her guys are reunited we never really never get to know if her mates have to visit her wherever the heck Goddesses live, or if she goes back to Earth. And if she does how is that possible since the author also says she’s NOT ALIVE ANYMORE. Yes. Extremely confusing. And if she can’t stay permanently on Earth since she has Goddess duties, Talk about the ultimate long distance relationship *eye roll*
I have literally demolished this series in just a few days. I’m sad that I now have to wait for the next book. I loved that this story was not something I have read before. Catriona and her mates continue to collect refugees as they try to help anyone who needs it as well as fighting off those who oppose them. Somethings were resolved in this book just to find new issues thrown at them. Never knowing who was coming down their drive kept me feeling anxious. I do wish that there was a little less focus on space issues as it seemed to be their main problem. It was certainly a problem, but the attacks and how to come out on top are also huge problems. Also I was waiting for more interaction with catriona and Ethan, at least in terms of learning to control her powers. I’m sure we will see that later i just would have liked some of it in book 3. Overall a great series so far and I can’t wait for the next book to release.
"Saviour" is the third and final book in the "Siren Saga" and, yes, it's completely finished! I understand the disappointment with readers in the past about this book being cut in half, but there is no need to worry about that anymore. Saviour does end in a HEA, even though the way to get there is a tough one...
This final book is filled with action, intrigue and betrayal, but also with the solidifying of bonds and connections. All these characters have to remain vigilant, all the time, but the way they rely on each other and gradually trust more in each others strengths is truly beautiful to watch. With all species coming together, people have to say goodbye to prejudice, and accept that they are all better off working together.
Finishing this series makes me excited to reread some of this author's other work, while waiting for more to be released in the future!
Part 1 - this book carried straight on from book 2. After the battle, the fall out is extremely tiring for everyone. Random refugees arrive constantly and the pressure to house and protect them has everyone shattered and stressed. Catriona is pregnant and her mates are protective but she is the only one who can help. It took me a little while to remember who all the guys were to Catriona and this book concentrates more on the relationships rather than the constant need to mate. The pack is steadily growing, but with it comes more tension and not everyone is as they seem. The threat from Alistair is constant but they are growing together as a community and are gaining some powerful allies. The highlight is the pups arrival, but even that came with its own dangers.
I have been waiting for Book 3 and was not disappointed. Even if it this is just the first half, I am grateful that Jade thought enough of her readers to give us what she could to keep us going. There is so much going on in the life of Kat, Her Mates (+1 potential) and all the refugees that have been flocking to them; this Haven. This was an amazing peak into what has been happening and what is going to happen. BUT HOLY WOW, the end is... I can see a whole lot of babies in the future. :-)
This series was bloody brilliant! I literally couldn’t put it down, I love the plot of the book, I love how well written the book was. But most of all, I loved the characters and how great it was that the bad guys got their comeuppance in the end. However, I am highly disappointed at the end. This is the second series I've read by Jade Thorn that just cuts off. I feel there should be more to the story. It doesn't feel finished. Also, how can she rebond with someone who lives in the afterlife with no memories
I have read most of this authors work and I don’t know why I keep doing it here worlds are amazing and the writing is pretty great but man her ending need some work and this one takes the cake Jade Thorn didn’t give us a solid ending at all everything seems so unsettled even a small epilogue would of been grateful but nope nothing I don’t think I’ll be able to read her work any more sadly as I just can’t get over how she ends her books I just don’t get any closure and personally I have to have that in my books
OMG, this book is one of the best that I have read. It was an awesome read from beginning to end. It moved along at a great pace, which made for an easy read. You will love these characters and no matter what they have to do you want to be there for them. The story will grab you and keep you turning pages till you reach the end and then you are wanting more. This is a must read book that needs to be on your TBR list, you will not be sorry that you did.
Catriona and her glorious mates have to be united with everyone on there land. Whether they are bound to Marcus or the pack or not. This fight is for the greater good. Alistair needs to be dealt with. He's used black magic from witches and vampires to achieve the outcome. He's aligned with the Vampire God, to give him the best chance. I wasn't expecting the outcome. I shed a few tears. A lot went into this last book. Loved it.
Saviour is heading towards what I feel is going to be an epic culmination of this series. I can't wait to read part two and see what lies in wait for Catriona and her mates. Within the first two chapters I already had tears in my eyes and everything that followed just blew me away. It's definitely going to be worth the wait for the final part of this story!!!!
So I've finished part 1 and awaiting part 2. I shed a little tear at the end of Jude's chapter at the beginning of the book, which for me is actually a good thing. I so feel for this pack and all their refugees. No space but people keep coming. I'm very interested to see how this book ends.
I immensely enjoyed Saviour. Jade is amazing with her plot twist! She doesn't stop with one, oh no, she just keeps them coming leaving me speechless with her brilliance. I was so sad I have to wait for the next part. Jade Thorns inbox will be getting blown up by me in a few seconds. Poor woman won't know what hit her 😂🤣
I loved these books but felt betrayed by the ending. What the hell. You killed the FMC! Spoiler….she becomes a diety and can later visit her mates. WTH!!!! I hated this. How do you suck is into an awesome new series then kill the Main Character!!!!! Would have scored a five but had to lower to three die to ending.
This book is a great prelude to what is gearing up to be a fantastic ending. Catriona and her mates are building their family, friends and pack in the hopes that they will defeat Alistair and his pack. I cant wait for Saviour part 2
Fantastic drama filled story. Part 1 of 2 in the conclusion of this saga. The second part is due very soon and I can’t wait to read it. So much to find out and bring to fruition. Definitely recommend you pick this up.
This was a great start to what I'm sure will be a amazing ending. I have been hooked on the series from the first page of Siren and I'm still just as invested now. I can't wait to see what happens in the final book of this amazing series. Highly recommend!
Catriona is about to have her pups. This book is taking right after the last battle. Everyone is tired and trying to make thing safe. The ending makes me excited to get part 2.
I really enjoyed this book!! I hadn’t started the series yet, so I started this book, had to put it down to go purchase books 1 & 2 so I could understand the characters better for myself. Omg am I glad I did!! Can’t wait for part II!!
This is such an amazing series! This third book is incredible! I love Catriona, her men, and all of the other awesome characters. The story is fantastic and I loved all the relationship development. I am super excited to see what comes with the next book!
I love how all the clans are coming together and looking out for each other. It is getting crazy tense and now that the babies are born, I can't wait to see what happens next.
Great Med/Fast Burn. Part 2 of the final book will be released hopefully before the end of 2021. Our MC is growing into herself and her harem. This is a really good series and it is totally worth the read.
I stumbled across this Aussie author by accident and am so glad I did. The Siren Series hooked me from the word go. Lots of sex scenes straight up so prepare yourself for that, but it is legit amazing. The end broke me, soooooo many questions, I need more!
Loved this series it had everything and more the story line was awesome loved all the character's did I say and lots and lots of steamy hot sex scenes hot alpha males strong beautiful herons and God's vampires wolf's witches mages trolls dragons loved
It’s a good short book that’s understandable why it’s so short I hope people get the chance to read the series it’s a pretty good one not the best 1but okay one
Another fabulous Jade Thorn book. I loved this series, and I wish there was more! I love that this book has a twist I didn't see coming, and it kept me guessing. Love, love, love it!!
