Two weeks remain until Chrys, the daughter of Hades, is forced to marry Zeus.

Huntley knows time is running out to save Chrys from the marriage, and everything is riding on the mysterious box Hades has given Prometheus. Now all they have to do is sneak into Olympus, find Chrys, and convince Zeus she is already married to Prometheus. Easy as that.

The problem is, Chrys has no knowledge of the plan. She feels all alone in a new world, surrounded by gods who are selfish and out to get her. Will she be able to last long enough for Huntley and the others to find her? Or will she take matters into her own hands?

This is the third book in the Daughter of Hades series

Chrys goes to Olympus. While everyone else is trying to get her free, Chrys must go to Olympus. In this book of the continuing series, we learn more of Olympus and the plans of some of the other gods. Dani Hoots has written a most engaging mystery. What are the plans of all involved? And WHat happens when the plans all fall apart?

These are getting harder to review individually since I'm listening to the box set XD It shouldn't make a difference, but here we are :|

As with the earlier two books, I really enjoyed this one and the dip into Greek mythology. If you love mythology, than this series has a lot you'll adore! Chrys meets a lot of gods in this one as she goes to Olympus, which in itself was interesting to see/hear about.

Ever since the first book, I've been wanting Chrys and Persephone to sit down and be honest with each other. I felt there was more to the story than Persephone had said, so I really wanted her to just explain herself and give her the daughter some answers (especially because a lack of communication got everyone into this mess to begin with). This is the book where that happens. I'm so glad they finally talked.

I loved the moment Huntley saw Forbidden Planet and went 'yay, it's a comic book shop!' (not an exact quote) Oh, Huntley. Forbidden Planet is so much more than a simple comic book shop, you sweet boy <3

And, of course, Hoots is the Queen of Plot Twists, so there were a few right at the end that I didn't see coming!

My only hang-ups with this book are that it was repetitive and that many of the gods started to sound very whiny to me. I wanted to slap them and go, 'You're gods, not teenagers! Gawd!' I have as good as binged this series, though, so it may just be time for a break. This third book also had to follow American Gods (my only break from this series), which isn't fair on any book.

This series is an easy recommendation if you love Greek mythology.

In two weeks Chrys will be married to Zeus that is if she can’t find a way to stop the wedding. Chrys has been taken to Olympus to prepare for the wedding. Huntley has teamed up with Persephone to come up with a plan to stop the wedding and save Chrys from Zeus.

Chrys being stuck in Olympus has no idea about their plan and is determined to come up with a plan all on her own. She is not ready to get married much less marry her father’s brother. All she wants now is to return home to the Underworld.

Entangled is a very magical engaging story that had me from the first page. I love reading stories about Persephone and Hades. I love how each author puts their own unique twists on their story. I love each and every character. I love following Chrys, Huntley, and everyone else as they try to come up with a plan to save Chrys and then implementing that plan. I can’t wait to dive into the fourth and last book, Enchanted in the Daughter of Hades series. But at the same time, I sorely hate to see it end.

I highly recommend Entangled and the rest of the Daughter of Hades Series, Endangered book one, and Engaged book two to all fans of the Greek Gods especially Persephone and Hades. One-click your copy of Entangled today for another great read from Dani Hoots.

I’m enjoying the twists and turns in this series. The plot is intricate and I definitely liked the way the author reworks Greek myth into something entirely new while still staying true to the source material. I’m also quite invested in Chrys and Huntley as a couple and hope there will be a HEA at the end of the next book.

The reveal about Persephone in this volume was a very interesting one, which the author hinted at previously, but which was confirmed now. I liked how it added nuance to the character and also offered a rather interesting perspective on the myth about Hades and Persephone, and using the myth we know as the “propaganda” from Olympus rather than a true account of what happened. This particular twist worked really well for me.

The only thing I find a little distracting is the choppiness of the writing style.

Enjoyable but still so many random grammatical issues/words that should have been a different word. I swear no one edited this book. I like the book but agree with others this should have been a duology as a lot of the stuff is very repetitive. BUT it's greek mythology and you like the main characters enough to keep reading. But as you can tell this one took me pretty long to read.

The plot thickens!! Anyone else cringe when Zeus started calling Chrys my flower ugh! The description of the Greek foods had me drooling and can we talk about how cavalier the torture of AJ was. Huntley and Chrys married and didn’t even realize it! So many things happened. Leaving us on a cliff hanger can’t wait to get through the final installment.

Somehow Huntley was even more annoying & immature in this than in the last two. Chrys had character growth finally, so that was nice. We also learn a bit about Persephone that explains a lot & makes you feel for her.

I’m sorry but the twists in this book??? Was not ready for any of it. I’m holding myself back from consuming the next book because I don’t want it to be over. All I have to say is this book confirms my deep hatred for Apollo and I’m not sorry about it

More betrayals and schemes. Chrysler and Huntley are finally together again but they have all of the different gods in the way. I enjoyed the surprises and I am curious how this will play out.
