Underestimated #3

The Reign of Kings

Rate this book
Raised by a family of cops who see the world in black and white,
I grew up with a defiant streak a mile long,
And an immunity to gun-toting alpha males.
That is until I find myself at the Carnage clubhouse,
At the mercy of their Kings.
Now my black and white world is a dirty shade of gray,
And my immunity to alpha males has disappeared along with my underwear.
While I find myself torn between my knights in blue and my kings in black leather,
A killer emerges from the shadows, ready to rip both my worlds apart.
He thinks he knows who I am, he thinks I’m weak,
But he couldn’t be more wrong.
My name is Reign. I was born to rule,
And I’ll do anything to protect the people I love.
Even if it means sacrificing myself.

Please be advised that this book may cause shallow breathing, exploding ovaries and spontaneous disintegration of panties. As a result, all readers should be over the age of 18 and refrain from reading in public places.

Trigger warning: This book contains swearing, violence and sexy fun times with not one but three bikers. It is not for the faint-hearted.

Spoilers ahead

There are lots of positive reviews on here so I'm not really going to bother much. I didn't finish this, I couldn't (and yes I'm still going to rate it). I'll tell you that every disgusting image I ever had of a biker is in these books, the H's are from the dark ages and have to be dragged into the light, Bates in particular I can't even find words to describe. Just absolutely not my cuppa!

Sex scene with OW before meeting h
No cheating
Club bunnies are around
Saint was great, Priest ok and Bates needs to soak his balls in bleach
The h is the type who shouts when a whisper will do

One to never disappoint! Freaking bravo Candice Wright! Girl, you did it again and this is why you're on my favorite authors' list right now because damnit you earn your spot. You came in strong and left with a boom and helluva cliffhanger for a whole new storyline!! OH boy, I can't wait!!!

I would highly recommend this series to anyone who loves badass heroines (but still a girl that can show vulnerability) and crazy ass, possessive heroes!

Overall rating:
5* ~ A Very Good Read

This was the strongest book in the series—best writing, good handling of pacing, and a better sense of realistic romantic pacing. Obviously still over the top, but after the mess of book #2 (where I almost gave up on the series as a whole) this was a great rebound.

Still extremely dark and filled with the usual MC romance tropes and content warnings.

If you don't take into account minor editing mistakes, that are present in all the books I've read by Candice M. Wright so far, this is another book that I just couldn't put down. It was steamier compared to the previous books in the series and quite gory! I LOVED it! I can't wait to read the next one!

This one had a really slow start, and I contemplated not continuing, but from 15-20% onwards it was really good!

I found this has more of a storyline than the other two, it took you on a darker journey that I really enjoyed!

If you’ve liked the first two, I’m convinced you’ll like this one too!

I really liked this addition to the Underestimated series, it touches on dark themes so do be aware of triggers, but great if you love a dark stalker romance.
Our FMC Reign is a pint-sized hell raiser from a family of cops (there’s just her with her 5 older brothers and her dad) so she knows how to hold her own! 💪 yet when she appears to have a stalker who’s happy to threaten her family she needs to run! On the advice of a friend she ends up at the main chapter for Kings of Carnage, and boy oh boy does she make an entrance 😂😂 it’s pretty much love at first hurdle for these men, the psychopath Bates who she soon wraps around her little finger, Saint the reluctant hero and Priest who is not afraid to go after what he wants! 🥰 Although not from the MC she soon makes a name for herself and is not afraid to make a stand 😃
Her brothers back home are looking into her suspicions about the stalker whilst said stalker ramps up their actions 😬 When an incident leaves her vulnerable it all comes to a head, with some shocking twists!!
The last chapter of this certainly leads into the next book, be prepared for not a 100% closure in this one.

The Reign of Kings (Underestimated # 3) by Candice Wright. Reign the youngest of six siblings, five brothers who are well over 6 feet and in law enforcement in one capacity or another as well as her father. She on the other had is something else at 5 foot 1 inches. To add to her charm she is a auto mechanic. Needless to say Reign is a tough as nails spitfire that can hold her own and has a tongue that would make a sailor blush. When she ends up with a demented stalker she finds herself going to the mother chapter of Carnage MC in order to keep her and her brothers safe. There she instantly runs into Saint, Priest and Bates, president of the MC.  After sassing each one and punching Bates in the face she ends up being their "old lady." After the first 2 books, I was wondering how the author was going to top the previous books. Do not fret mon frere. I can tell you I laughed to the point of tears were coming out my eye. I mean a open mouth laugh out loud clutch your stomach laugh.  Reign is hilarious. She takes no crap off of nobody not even the presidents of the MC and any other person who wants to try her. However the stalker situation does but a damper on things and as the stalker gets more dangerous things spiral out of control. I couldn't put this book down until I finished it. The book was so entertaining I ended up reaching out to the author. 3 really good books with a fresh premise and the sex was hot too. So looking forward to the next book. I have found myself a new author to read. Yay me. 5 star read for me.

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT!

I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES! Candice Wright has such an easy writing style I love so much. This story is filled with OH H*LL NO and WTF! moments I was constantly on the edge of my seat. At times the suspense was so intense I almost peed my pants because I couldn't put the book down. This was a page turner and I was consumed from the very first page but I've been that way with every book in this series so far. The three Kings of Carnage, Priest, Saint, and Bates are some dirty talkin bad*ss bikers who like to ride hard and ride their women harder. Reign's character is a sassy little bad* spitfire that can kick some serious *ss. Her spider senses are sharp and her bullsh*t meter is in the red. Lol. She can definitely put someone in their place and oh believe me she does. Lol! Especially the club hoes. Lol! But she can also be vulnerable and at times I cried right along with her. At times I was LMFAO! The things that came out of Reign's mouth was hilarious! Oh Candice Wright I love how your mind works. I loved the visit to the other Carnage chapter. We get to find out about their little bundle of joy. I'm not gonna say what it was because I don't want to give the surprise away. Now Reign and Luna are perfect n friends for each other, they're like two peas in a pod, in fact I think in another life they were twins. Lol! Oh and lets not forget the sex scenes. Talk about wet your panties set your crotch on fire. HOLY MOTHER OF HOTNESS! This book is romantic, erotic, sweet and touching and full of passion, tears and laughter but it also mysterious and exciting. Garrett's character is batsh*t crazy. I do love Reign's 5 brothers and her father and their love and protection of Reign and the closeness between them all is so heartwarming. I just can't say enough about this book or this series. I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES TO EVERYONE!

Kings of Carnage Protection

I’d probably give this book 4.5 ⭐️ if I could.

Reign is the daughter and sister of cops. Her mother died when she was 5, but her dad and 5 older brothers adore and protect her. Sometimes this can be tedious, but mostly she adores them back. She is unusual as she has been taught how to protect herself, has a degree in mechanical engineering and works as a mechanic. With 6 domineering men in her life she knows how to fight for what she wants and is completely unphased by alpha behaviour.

When Reign acquires a stalker she agrees to her family’s protection until she finds out the threat extends to her family and she runs away in the middle of the night, finding sanctuary with the Kings of Carnage MC mother chapter in Las Vegas.

I really enjoyed this book, as Reign is great fun. She’s a strong determined woman who doesn’t let the caveman attitude of bikers get to her in any way. She trusts her gut instinct and when it tells her she’s safe she doesn’t hold back. The guys are also fun, in particular the psychotic Bates.

There is a lot complex plotting going on with this book. The author takes you in several different directions at once, which leads you to take leaps of faith that you know what’s going on, until you find out it was all misdirection. It’s clever writing, and something that this author excels at.

The only niggle I have with the book is that though Reign gets her HEA, her stalker situation isn’t totally resolved. There’s a big loose end flapping in the breeze and I hate that. Especially when the book that deals with that loose end doesn’t come out until 2021! That’s a long time to be niggled about something. It also felt like the book ended abruptly because the stalker issue is to be resolved in the next book, which meant that Reign and her guys don’t really get to relax and have fun in their relationship, in this book, without it hanging over their heads. Again it’s a niggle, but it detracts from the quality of the rest of the book.

Candice has done it again. The world of Carnage is so easy to get wrapped up in, with each book being the reader tons of new faces and a world within a world. It’s amazing! This series was one of my first MC reads and now I’m a bit obsessed.

Reign brought me in so fast. Reign is the FMC in the novel, and she’s everything we could hope for. She’s sarcastic, witty, smart and tough. She doesn’t let herself get walked all over. In her world, with her dad and five brothers all being law enforcement, she’s developed thick skin. Skin can’t be thick enough though, when your stalker has seemingly endless smarts, the ability to bypass all alarms systems, and work their way past an entire family of officers.

In order to protect her family, Reign finds herself at the Kings of Carnage mother chapter in Vegas. Then shit gets real, fast (as is the way with MC life, am I right?). Priest, Saint and Bates are everything Reign didn’t know she needed and now it’s their job to protect her.

If you haven’t started this series, it is a must. The stories are so compelling and they easily have me reading way past my bedtime. They are steamy, no slow burn here and filled with action that Kees you guessing at every turn. You definitely will not regret it. 💕💕💕

Update 6/15/23: my favorite book of the series!! I love diving back into this world💜💜

This is the best book in the series yet, which is saying something because I have loved them all. I can't read fast enough, especially with that cliffhanger regarding Saint.

Onto the next book!!

Reign has learned to be a tough nut to crack having been raised in a house full of five brothers. All her brothers are in various branches of police service and Reign remains the rebel who chose to be a mechanic instead. She doesn't take abuse from anyone which is what has made her a constant presence in her father and brothers' precinct for a dressing down by the family. It is there she runs into the creepy Captain that seems to have set his sights on Reign and is determined to make her his. Add to that the fact the Reign seems to acquire a stalker that is starting to go to the extreme to try to get her attention. When her stalker starts making threats to her life and her family's she sees no other choice but to flee. Her boss from the mechanic shop she works out offers her a place to go: The Kings of Carnage mother chapter. When she shows up she is mistaken for another sweet butt and has to literally slap some sense into the men to garner some respect. Unfortunate for her that her slap is to the face of one of the presidents of the club and now she has his attention along with the other presidents. In no time they are announcing their claim of her as their old lady and Reign is thrust in the world of MCs and the wrong side of the law. Can they protect her from her stalker and can she protect her heart from them?

Reign was by far my favorite of the female protagonists. She had me absolutely roaring with laughter with some of her snarky remarks. She refuses to take any lip from any of the men and was firm but fair with the other MC members and sweet butts. Even when one of them decides that she is going to try to make Reign's life a living hell. She showed very little fear and was fast to throw herself into situations to shoulder the brunt of punishment over her family and friends being subjected to it. She is an all around great woman.

Reign's men were similar to Luna and Megan's but in this instance Bates was the resident psychopath that only has a sweet spot for Reign. Priest was the hard ass stoic type who carried the weight of his entire MC on his shoulders so he felt responsible for anything going wrong. And Saint was the chill and quiet type who was completely smitten with Reign from the very beginning. I have a thing for the crazy men with a heart of gold so Bates won me over full stop.

As was the case with the second book the third was even better. Maybe because it had a lick of comedy to lighten the subject matter which made it even more enjoyable or perhaps because I had such a strong bond with the female protagonist. Or, maybe Ms. Wright has found her literary sweet spot and is riding that rhythm to the best of her capabilities. Whatever the reason, I can firmly say that this series is worth the read.

❝Carnage,” Priest yells over the noise of the crowd, “meet our old lady.”

They all yell out their praise, so I turn my head to see who they are talking about, pausing when I look up and see Bates’s shit-eating grin.

“Oh, hell, no.❞

The Reign of Kings is the third book in the Underestimated series and tells the story of Reign.

Being the only girl growing up in a family full of boys meant that Reign learned how to take care of herself.

❝It was survival of the fittest in the Foster household. My brothers might have protected me from outside dangers, but at home I was just one of the boys, which meant if they hurt me, I was expected to hurt them back twice as bad.❞

But when an unknown threat sets its sights on her, and makes it apparent that they have the ability to hurt those she’s closest to, Reign is left with no choice but to leave in order to protect those she loves.

❝Why the hell would this brave, feisty woman end up here, with her family a bunch of cops, unless she or they were truly in serious danger?❞

Seeking sanctuary with the Kings of Carnage was supposed to be temporary. They were meant to keep her safe. She certainly wasn’t supposed to be claimed by three sexy men who happened to be the club’s presidents. And she definitely wasn’t supposed to become their old lady.

Candice Wright is a queen when it comes to creating quality fast-burn-romances. I often find that when authors choose to write insta-love/fast-burn romances, they forget to establish a solid enough foundation to build their relationships on; in the end they feel convenient, forced, and weak. However, while Reign is claimed as Bates, Priest and Saint’s old lady the same day they meet, Wright made sure that the storyline and its characters supported the speedy relationship.

My only complaint is that Wright created a heroine with the skills and mindset of a badass, and then had her be reliant on the men in her life to save her. Sure, she was able to put the club girls in their place, and she took care of a prospect and towny looking to hurt her, but those were situations that forced her to act immediately. When it comes to her stalker, the only action she takes is to go into hiding and hope that her brothers find him before he finds her—and if he does find her first, she hopes the club will be able to protect her. I didn’t view Reign as a damsel in distress, but that’s what she ended up being. I wouldn't say that my opinion of the book greatly suffered from this, but it kept me from liking it as much as the previous two books.

So upsetting...I really was expecting great things from this series. But, I'm getting more disappointed as it continues. Book 1 was amazing! I even rated it 5 stars, but book 2 I only gave 3 stars, and with this book...I didn't really even become hooked until about 60% of the way through. I skimmed a lot between about 20%-60%, and the ending was unfulfilling (in my opinion).

To start, I should also say I thought this was going to be a series that actually continued throughout each book, but for the most part, each book can be read as a standalone. The epilogues are were they get tied together now. I was expecting book 2's epilogue to be something like

General gist with spoilers:

🔵Rating - 2 stars - I'm walking away from this series for now. I can't believe how vastly different this book is from book 1.
🔵Steam - 4 stars - still well done and dispersed throughout the book
🔵Storyline - 3 stars - not as intense as book 1, but still intriguing
🔵Plot Twists - 4 stars - well done and useful to creating mystery
🔵Emotional Pull - 1 star - you won't be crying here
🔵Writing - 2 stars - monotonous and too much filler, ended up skimming a lot leading up to the 60% mark when the book got really interesting
🔵Denouement - 1 star - highly unfulfilled and felt like there were chapters missing
🔵Cliffhanger? - yes, kind of. The story doesn't feel complete and the epilogue intros the next book. But I read the first chapter for the next book and it seems do the same thing Books 1-3 did...i.e. focus on a completely new set of characters. So, I have a feeling I'm not getting the finality I want for Reign's story.
🔵HEA? - kind of

You know, I get kind of sick of MC dudes thinking women are only good for pleasure and not as an important asset. Reign also seems to feel the same. She brings up a valid point: a woman could walk through their doors and wouldn't be taken as a threat, though she could be carrying weapons and they'd never know, because they never check them like they'd check another dude. It's insulting to think women aren't viewed as a threat, but also hahaha! I gotcha, MC dudes! It all comes back to women being underestimated. Again. Constantly. Ugh. But hey, the dudes are hot and the spicy times are an inferno.

This book features a stalker and some creepy older dude vibes that made me uncomfortable. I just want to understand how creepy dudes' minds work. How did they become so creepy? Do the psychology experts know? My therapist used to work with serial killers and she said some of them projected a weird energy. Wonder if that was on purpose?

I always seem to get off task when doing these reviews. There's a reason why I'm the worst book reviewer lol. My brain gets distracted easily.

Anyway...I'm so impressed with Candice Wright and her female characters. They are quirky and have plenty of snark and exude a coincidence that I admire. Reign isn't afraid to use violence when it's thrown at her, she works in a traditionally male profession, and gives no beeps about fitting into MC club gender roles. She refuses to identify as eye candy for men and finds her self worth internally. I could go on and on gushing about feminism in these books...and it's hysterical to me because all of these tough women end up being forced into relationships with men, which seems like such a dichotemy, but for whatever reason it works for me.

Now I'm just word vomiting...but, this series surprises me all the time and makes my brain think about all these weird thoughts, which surely should be taken as a good thing and a compliment, right? Loved this book. Continue to love this series.

I will be upfront... these blurbs are not great. This blurb doesn't do a really good job at setting up what this book is really about. The FMC has a stalker and this story is primarily about her running/hiding from said stalker. Regardless of how iffy the blurb is, I liked this book. I liked the three MMCs. I wish we got to see more of them and go to know them better. It felt like we didn't really get a whole lot of backstory on them.

I will also say that the first smut scene was a bit ridiculous. Like I don't know if that's even possible ridiculous. The MMCs yet again claim the FMC without even asking her what she thinks. They "give her a choice" that they never really took seriously.

There were a few plot holes and a bit too much of telling and not showing. Overall, despite these issues I did enjoy the book and I liked all of the characters. It was a nice change of pace where the FMC wasn't hated or mistreated by the rest of the MC.

We do get to see a bit of the characters from the first book, though I liked that it was brief and the focus still felt like it was on Reign, Bates, Priest and Saint. There is a bit of a weird time jump between intertwining scenes (like where I thought that things were taking place at the same time, but then it's later revealed that no the scenes with the MMCs were all taking place weeks ago).

This series has a habitual issue where the endings are just far too abrupt and it never feels like we get any real closure. Wish we'd get an epilogue with more of a HEA, but I figure we don't get those flash forwards to the future because this is an ongoing series where these characters will appear in future stories. So a flash forward to the future like that would lower the stakes whenever those characters were involved. Like if we get a flash forward showing Luna, Orion, Hale, and Gage all getting a HEA 20 years in the future then anytime we see them we'll know instantly if there's any danger that they're fine.

So I'm not super mad at it, but I do wish that we had more time with them once things settled.

The Reign of Kings is book 3 in the Underestimated series by Candice M. Wright. The books focuses on the undeniably feisty Reign. Reign is the only sister in a family of boys, so she knows how to handle things, but when a situation becomes out of control a friend suggests that she takes shelter at the King’s of Carnage MC. Here she meets Saint, Bates and Priest, the three Presidents of the club who have an instant attraction to the sassy Reign.

The story not only focuses on the characters building their relationships and getting to know each other but it also has a few other storylines going on. (One from the previous book is on-going). What I loved about this book is how Reign manages everything with such inner strength whilst also showing her vulnerability, whether it be with her men or with her family, she doesn’t give up but she also doesn’t take any crap either!

The three men: Priest, Bates and Saint all have their own thoughts and feelings in the story and they are all uniquely different. The way that they interact not only with each other but also with Reign is a delight to read. I also like that the story has different POV’s so that you get to know more about the characters and what makes them tick.

This was a great read, not only is it fast paced, witty with an incredible story, it also has some seriously hot steamy scenes between Reign and her men. I also think the family dynamic that Reign has with her family is pretty special and it comes through on the page, the absolute love she has for them and vice versa. All in all, an amazing book by one of my new favourite authors!

There may be some triggers for some readers.

Perfection (spoilers)

Candice Wright knocked it out of the park with this series, and this book is no exception.

My only complaint is that just like the other books in this series, this story ends on a cliff hanger regarding one of the male main character’s sister. Like Viddy/ Megan in the other two books.

These cliff hangers don’t end in a happily ever after, but the story just ends there with no sequel, which then makes the whole book seem unfinished. For example, in this book after the climax is over and Reign is safe, there’s only one or two more quick chapter tidying everything up in a neat little bow while also dropping the bomb that Ava is gone.

I just think that if there isn’t a happily ever after or a sequel then the ending should be flushed out a bit more. The scenes after the climax and before the end should be flushed out in detail, the way the beginning is always so detailed. A sense of normalcy needs more chapters in order to be established before the cliff hanger drops.

But I dunno, maybe the cliff hangers are done on purpose, because now I can’t wait for all the other books in the series and am hoping for more updates about the other characters from the series!

Regardless though, 5 stars. I was laughing the entire timed & a little hot n bothered too! It was perfect! I am so in love with this world Candice Wright is creating and I guarantee you’ll fall in love with it too!

Im still reeling.

I finished this book maybe like 5 minutes ago and my head is a damn mess. I don't even know where to start.

Unlike the last 2 books, this one takes place in Las Vegas where the mother chapter of Carnage is. Honestly, I was a little confused at first because i was like who are these damn people. it took me a minute to figure it out. I mean Priest and Bates sounded familiar but like I'm the worst with names. THE WORST.

Reign finds herself at the Carnage compound after a friend tells her to hide out there, she's got a stalker and things are escalating. When she punches Bates in the face she sealed her fate as their old lady. Unsurprisingly she takes this pretty well. All the girls in these books don't bat an eyelash to the tomfoolery and you know what neither do i. Just let these girls be sexually freeeeee.i
Now I feel like this book was just a bit different from the others. This one had a bit more suspense to it. We still have the badass female characters we love and the alpha males are still a thing.

What I love about Wright's heroines is that while they are tough as nails and vulnerable when they need to be they don't come off too strong or disingenuine. Frankly, a lot of times I can tell authors are trying too hard to make their female characters tough and it comes off fake and BAD.

It's killing me that I have to wait for the next book in this series to find out what happens but luckily i have the distraction of Ricochet.

Another great edition

“You were never destined to wear glass slippers, my darling daughter. You were meant to break glass ceilings.” Something every father should tell his daughter!

The Reign of Kings is another great addition to The Underestimated Series. While I love Luna (from Queen of Carnage) and Megan (from Princess of Chaos) Reign is my favorite so far! I love her and her relationship with her family. You can tell she is the glue that holds them together. And of course, she is the same with her relationship with her guys! Reign handles Priest, Bates, and Saint like no one else could. She is perfect for them and them for her. There was drama and action in this book, and we got to learn a little more about the Vegas chapter of Carnage. There is an appearance of Luna and her guys along with some favorites from their chapter (looking at Diesel here! Poor guy got shown up in his own clubhouse!). This series is the first I have read of Candace Wright, but by no means will it be the last. This book leads into what I hope will be the fourth book because boy do I have questions! Not only is there the drama and action, but also funny moments and serious ones as well. There was plenty of steam too. And can I just say, I need to find purple sparkly tools???!!

This is the third book in the series and they must be read in order. This book involves the mother chapter of the Carnage MC. Reign is the youngest of her siblings. They are all cops along with her father. Some in stalking Reign and she has an idea about who it is. If she is right things are about to get really bad. Her family can’t help her without getting her too. She goes to the only person she can think of, her boss. Her tells her to go to the mother chapter of Carnage. Only when she gets there, they know nothing about her. She finds herself in an interesting situation and might have gotten herself into more trouble. This book takes you on a wild ride. I had a guess about who I thought the stalker was. I was right but there is so much more to it. It is about so much more than just stalking Reign. Again this is a reverse harem book, 1 girl 3 guys. These books have romance, danger, and so many sexy moments. I am so invested in this series by now. The books are connected but especially this one and book four. This book doesn’t have a complete ending. More of a soft ending there is a conclusion but so much setting up the next book. Fantastic job Candice M. Wright.

Reign + Saint, Priest, & Bates

Intriguing storyline with a stalker that just won't quit. This book actually is a cliffhanger because the villain gets away. Enjoyed the hell out of Reign, yet another strong woman with a strong family behind her, who is caught in a no-win situation. But that's when the MC and more specifically the three presidents step in and keep her safe.

I liked the fact they didn't just jump into bed with her and expect her to be all happy about it. One thing about the way she writes these books is the work up to the steamy times. Occasionally one will jump in bed immediately but not usually. Each partner in the group spends time with the FMC and develops a relationship BEFORE they jump in bed.

Enjoyed the law enforcement brothers and dad in this and how despite their different world views they worked together to try and keep Reign safe. There's always a mess-up that leaves them in jeopardy but again the author does a great job making it believable rather than one of the standard 'woman is dumb and thinks she's not going to get hurt so goes by herself somewhere' moments.

Bates was fantastic!! Loved him the most.

One more fabuleuse book by wonderful Candice Wright. You can only love Reign. She is witty, strong, have a great sense of humor, and her attitude is out of the roof. She have always perfect answer for everyone. She don’t give a crap, neither she take one, she is not a woman who would let you speak crap either. To protect her family, she would do everything. I loved how she interact with her brothers and father, there is this beautiful relation between them and high sense of need to protect each others. The men, Priest, Saint and Bates, however they have theirs flaws, however it all come on suddenly, just just fall for Reign, which honestly isn’t a surprise, she is a perfect old lady for them. She know how to manage them, instinctively she make them them better. They care for her, they are soft with her when needed, showing the one side nobody would think they have, but just for her. We had some nice hot steamy scenes right here as well. Plot is interesting and very fast paced. All in all, you can only love it.

This is number three in the Underestimated series, and it absolutely rocked. I swear every book Candace writes just keeps getting better - and that's saying a lot! Not too many authors that I've read can pull so many different emotions from me within one book! I laughed hysterically ( This FMC is amazing) I cried. I felt anxiousness, I felt compassion, I felt the love that this author infused into this book . I felt EVERYTHING! It was a heck of a ride and I loved every second of it. The character development is phenomenal, the plot…and the twists were edge of my seat perfect. ( Also, the steam... phew * fans self*) Something I really appreciate about this author is the detail she goes into with the relationships between characters , whether they are friends, family , lovers or enemies, the relationships feel so authentic and real. This entire series is incredible.I am so excited to read the next! I highly recommend this and every other book she has written!

Sooooo good. I need more

Ugh why was this book so freaking good. If you liked the first two books then you definitely should read this book. I picked it up and could not put it down until I finished. I mean who cares about work emails really?!

Reign is a fast tounged FMC who was raised in a family full of guys. So she is not weak in the slightest, but protected heavily. Older brothers am I right? Even though she is raised in a family of cops that does nothing to stop the danger she is in.

Enter Saint, Priest and Bates! I absolutely loved these characters so much. Fingers crossed we get to see more of them...please Candice. They don't take no for an answer but love fiercely and will fight to protect carnage.

I don't want to give anything away just read the book and fall in love with these characters
